spent a month going back and forth with records in order to get a meet and greet for day camp. as well as spending almost $200 on influenza vaccine and several calls to get the meet n greet. they called today to say they are full and are not doing any more meetings and greets until July. The general manager is not seeking new day care business for pets not seen by Creature Comforts Veterinary Team. She would not take the time to listen to what I was saying, she contradicted her staff's confirmation of vaccination receipt from our vet, and was rude and dismissive to boot. Perhaps the general manager is having a bad day but it doesn't speak well to a service orientated business. Unless you enjoy being ghosted and an ongoing, new with each call, request to provide additional test results, this doggy day service is not for either of us. read more

The amazing staff here saved the life of my 14 year old dog. On the day that I prepared to put her to sleep a neighbor suggested going to Creature Comfort. I gave it one more shot and brought her in. The veterinarian and vet tech spent close to 45 minutes with us. The next day my baby started eating again. And now, a week later, she is as good as new. read more

honestly in the past loved this resort.... but they are starting to make things NOT owner friendly. 1. I now have to ask to see if I can bring my dog to day camp... at $30/day.... but when I watch cameras they don't love on my boy/engage with him like they used to... when it was $20/day. 2. now the vets don't do everything in one visit... swear to y'all... three appointments for what they used to accomplish in one visit.... just wellness but would be nice if all annual shots were given same friggin day (and fecal) 3. NOW to book the boarding you have to leave a deposit... never had to do that before in 8 years... never ever missed an appointment..... but ok ... guess they are getting too big just tired of it... it's like they don't want you as a client....still like them... but after today... I will look elsewhere. so much for loyalty... they don't even know my boys name when he walks in anymore... it used to be they knew his name but not mine... and I kinda loved that. guess Covid killed their customer service too. read more

This is the absolute best clinic I have ever been to. My dog was slowly dying and I prepared myself to say goodbye. That was yesterday. Today my baby is eating again and back to her old self. I have never experienced this kind of treatment at a veterinary clinic before. The doctor was busy but made time especially for me. She talked to me for a long time as well as the tech. I took my cat to be boarded at Creature Comforts on Saturday July 30th-Sunday August 7th. I like leaving him there because the facility is owned by a veterinarian and her husband and also has another full time vet on staff so I know if a medical issue comes up he's cared for right there. It's always clean and the kennel staff that care for him are always super nice and good to him. Sheila is great with him. He was also boarded there a week in May 2013'. And a week in August 2014'. We have been loyal customers of Creature Comforts for five or six years now. Even driving 45min from Taylors just to get here. Our Doberman Charlie stays several times throughout the year, sometimes up to two weeks at a time. It's not always easy to leave our furry family member that long but we have no doubt that she is treated well from the sheer fact our girl goes nuts with excitement when we pull in. We even joke that we swear she is always disappointed to leave when picked up! Charlie has had her fair share of injuries and health scares the few years and we know Tammy and her back of the house staff take great care when a little extra attention is needed because she isn't suited for day-camp or when there is a need for medications. It is also comforting to know that vet staff is onsite just in case of emergency, especially with our dogs recent history. The front desk staff seems to be ever changing but nonetheless we always feel welcomed and greeted with a smile! We've learned our lesson to book any boarding needs early because this business is well loved and word has gotten out that this is the place to be! read more

I wish I could give a lower rating. Three times in the past year we have boarded our Boston Terrier with Creature Comforts. The second stay she contracted kennel cough. Ok, these things can happen. If you don't know about kennel cough, look it up, it's awfully hard on dogs and expensive. The third stay kennel cough again. Now this is 2 out of 3 stays within a year! This is no accident. Each time we go we have our bordetella and all other shots up to date. This last time they knew that they had an outbreak there when we checked in and said nothing. They didn't call us while she was there to inform us. And, even though they are veterinarians, they didn't try to treat her!!! Veterinarians, maybe. Humanitarians, definitely not! Both sick stays, 4 days each, plus medical expense totals approximately $850.00. But the worst part is watching our loved one suffer. It's like a severe case of the flu on a 17 lb. baby. Have used this veterinary practice and spa kennel service since 2004 and find all of the staff to be exceptional. We have small, rescued dachshunds and one is a special needs dog (a double dapple) with blindness. Buffy Marie especially loves Dr. Donna who had to surgically remove a sewing needle from the Buff's tongue.
