Also let me just say, Isabella is so skilled and meticulous. I have a lot of hair but nevertheless, she foiled up my hair pretty fast compared to previous balayages I've gotten by different stylists. (this step usually takes the longest for me). I came in not knowing what kind of haircut I wanted, but she recommended I get some layers in the front and I think it suits my new balayage and face shape so well. It was super easy reaching out to Isabella. I just DM'ed her on Instagram and she responded almost instantly. I showed her a bunch of my hair goal pics, but I knew beforehand that it would realistically take me multiple sessions and time to reach that level since my hair already had some damage. What I loved most was the fact that Isabella was super honest and transparent about the condition of my current hair and what she would be able to achieve for me on the day of our appointment. She could have just given me the look I wanted with super damaged hair in the end, but the fact that she didn't tells a lot about her and how much she cares for her clients. I trusted her 100% from the start and I knew she would be able to give me something I would like no matter what. Since she wanted to keep the integrity of my hair, she didn't end up bleaching all my hair, and she also recommended going a bit darker instead of the bright blonde look I wanted in the beginning. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to achieve my hair goal this session, but I was absolutely okay with that since I wanted to keep my hair as healthy as possible. I also asked for an Olaplex treatment add-on, which other salons I've been to in the past never offered me for some reason. Like other reviewers have said, Isabella is a quality hair colorist and her work speaks for itself. Before I got my hair done by her, I was struggling with an uneven band color (my previous babylights and root melt faded into a brassy ombre color), but she gave me a really pretty balayage retouch and toned me with an ashy color which I loveee! I was really hesitating where to go because I was about to change my hairstyle completely. I decided to cut my hair kind of short, about the length below my ears. I have really long hair or I should say I "had" long hair but I wanted to cut it short and do some perm. Cut was pretty nice and the perm came out really good. I did what is called 'cushion perm' which gives a nice c-curl perm to the ends of your hair. I really like it and it saves a lot of my time when I'm getting ready. I've been getting lots of compliments from my friends and some say I look better with short hair. I am still in the stage of getting used to it. But I cant lie that I miss my long hair at the same time. Will probably recommend this place if you are doing a perm or a short hairdo. I am definitely going back here for my trim and possibly color my hair before it gets too cold.
