Beautiful area. The unhappy /disappointed: Breakfast (sunrise) was okay, but not the best. And coffee total, we paid $32.00 For just two of us, We got four cups of coffee ( you ask -why four coffee? Because I ordered a Latte with caramel flavor and my daughter's latte with hazelnut flavor. OMG, it tasted nasty and like water with milk, no coffee, and super sweet; I talked to the barista and told her that coffee is not what we expect from the coffee house; I will take another shot to get something else like a cold brew iced with oat milk and honey and for myself, a latte with oat milk and honey as well, Its turned even Throwing up drink with no taste and was oversweet; I brought it back Not asking for the refund, and let them know that I liked the place, But not the coffee. It was worse than a drip of coffee in the cheapest place you can imagine. People still come because of the lovely area, fresh air, and chat in nature, but not for the coffee! This is my second time here. This is the second time they've done this. I'm giving them a two stars because the girl was nice but I did explain my unsatisfied opinion about my drink and she didn't seem to want to fix it. I asked for a triple Americano with white chocolate and cream in a 12 ounce cup. They may not have 12 ounces or maybe she messed up but I got a 16 ounce full of water almost no ice I actually had to tell the girl at the window that my price wasn't right because I ordered a triple with white chocolate and she charged me the price of a single 12 ounce with no flavor. Very disappointed with the service. I went and got my nails done with my friend at the nail place in the same parking lot and then walked over to get a coffee it was 4:54 when we walked in and we were like oh let's hurry since we didn't realize they close at 5. The girl says oh we aren't serving coffee anymore since everything is cleaned. I'm a barista as well and I know that we serve coffee till literally up till we the actual closing time not 6 minutes early. I unabashedly LOVE this place, both for the quality of the dranks and for the location. Okay so the place itself is really cute and also has a drive-thru, but my favorite thing is driving there because I pass all those fancy Lakeshore houses and get to look at the lake on the way! I mean it's not the best lake in the entire world but I still think it's pretty and it's a nice, relaxing ride in the morning. The baristas are great to talk to, they always have a treat for the pups, and the hazelnut mocha (get it as a breve, TRUST ME) is like a dessert that you get to drink for breakfast. read more

I would love to give better review... the space was bright, clean, and well-organized. Breakfast and snack selections looked interesting. The only drawback is that the cappuccino was, well, pretty poorly executed and disappointing What should have been espresso tasted like plain old coffee that had hot milk added with foam on the top. There is a specific taste to espresso that makes it perfect for blended coffee drinks. Popped into a new (to me) coffee shop on way to a meeting in the area today. Loved the fact that they serve Steven smith tea (portland based, best tea ever!) and had delicious cookies too. I really really want to give my local (so close I can walk from my house) coffee shop five stars. But I just can't. 5 stars for the shop itself. Everyone is nice, the atmosphere is wonderful. Very clean, roomy, lots of different seating options. There's a fireplace and the side of the seating area can roll up in warmer weather for outdoor seating. It's really nice! It's my favorite spot to take my laptop and get some work done outside of the house. But...the coffee is maybe 3 stars. I don't know what they're doing wrong here. I think they use Stumptown beans, which are quality beans. The coffee just isn't good. I usually order a hot latte, no flavor, everywhere I go. It's a good test of the quality of the beans they use. I've had many lattes here, both in the drive thru and going inside, and it's never very good. It's drinkable, but honestly it's one of the worst lattes I've had in this area. Today I decided to add a flavor, hoping to improve what I knew wouldn't be a great latte, but it just made it too sweet. Now to the food. They used to have wonderful freshly prepared salads as well as other fresh foods. Now it's like Starbucks with pre-prepared everything. Very disappointing. I used to come and get lunch and a drink, now I don't bother. I think this change happened before they even changed the name from Red Barn to Creed. So, in the end, this is an excellent place to get together and meet friends. It has that vibe. Every time I'm here, most tables are filled with moms and a couple kids or a few friends catching up. It's perfect for that. It's also the most convenient location, other than the kiosks closer to the freeway, in the area for drive thru coffee, and they're very efficient. If you like sugary milk with a hint of coffee, this place is for you. And I don't mean that as a sarcastic dis, I mean that sincerely. They seem to be well liked by the other customers who were there this morning, drinking blended drinks and huge lattes. However, I ordered a macchiato (which is ON the menu) and I received a small latte. I even double checked, but I had just watched her read the ticket, check with someone, and then pull down a 12 oz. cup, so she obviously had no idea what a macchiato is. The sandwich was okay, but nothing great. I took one bite and had trouble swallowing it. I ended up leaving the coffee shop $9 poorer with a single bite from it. I love Creed Coffee (formerly Red Barn)! The location is great if you live in Felida or Salmon Creek, or if you go to Lakeshore Athletic Club. They serve Stumptown Coffee, which is fantastic and not easy to find in a Vancouver WA cafe. Their food menu is pretty good for a coffee shop, as they have breakfast sandwiches and savory empanadas as well as the typical pastries and croissants. There is also a wine and beer menu, which has some wines from local wineries. The atmosphere is super cute and a great place to study. I have never had a problem finding a seat or an outlet. The staff is awesome - very friendly and always fun to chat with. I highly recommend stopping at Creed! read more

I also enjoyed their summer concerts when the staff would open the door(s) and serve beer and wine while we listened to live music. This is probably the worst coffee I've paid for... I don't usually write reviews but yea, it tastes just like a cheap strong coffee with foam on top. I ordered a 20 ounce coffee with 3 shots instead of regular 4 shots and still couldn't drink it just too bold but flavorless. I really wanted to like it since I live in the area. read more

Stopped by for a quick cup of brewed coffee before catching the train. Overpriced and under-brewed in my opinion. Watery concoction of no taste or aroma and $1 more than you would pay for better quality at other coffee shops. Coffee is very subjective so take my review for whats its worth- nothing.
