Location has gone bad so far. The line is always insane. Workers are so unfriendly I rather drive 20 minutes to a different location to get a coffee. I had a free drink on my pass but the girl didn't even bother to ask for my app. She was to preoccupied by the other car. Fast, friendly, and free (for first-timers)! There are a lot of F-words you could use to describe Dutch Bros Coffee, but the best is probably fantastic ... effin fantastic. The party inside the little shack with dual drive-thrus seems to be poured into every cup of coffee that goes out the window. And by party, I mean elephant-size doses of caffeine or sugar ... preferably both ... sprinkle adrenaline to taste. Dutch Bros is not a good potion when you are looking to relax or chill out. It's more a sugar-rush, caffeine-high kind of stimulant to have you jacked for the next 45 minutes. Your cardiologist and heart will disapprove, but at least you'll run around like Jason Statham in that 2006 energy-flick Crank for an hour or so. coming from someone who loves Dutch bros and has almost never had a bad experience. Today was the day for a bad experience. If I could upload a photo I would show who gave us this experience but I can't. We pull up to the HAZEL DELL DUTCH BROS, and there's 2 cars in front. which normally is about a 5 minute wait at most honestly. WRONG. The lady at the window talked to the car in front of us for at minimum 10 minutes probably more. Enough time I could write this review and I don't even like leaving reviews. Keep in mind it was not busy at all. No cars on the other side but while waiting for this girl to stop talking multiple cars went through and got their drinks on the other side. INCLUDING the person in front of us. They had their drink for plenty long and no one cared, ESPECIALLY the worker. Overall I'm very unpleased with the service tonight and if only I knew who the worker was, she could hopefully get some kind of talking to. They always greet you with the biggest smile and always have a few funny things to say while they take your order I it really is pleasant in the morning to have somebody with that kind of energy Serve you. This was my first time ever trying Dutch. (Weirdo right? I know) I have my little local spots here and there and THIS particular day was really rough. It was the first real day of summer, 88° outside and I was carting my 2 little guys out and about to enjoy the sun. Needless to say I was totally exhausted my the late afternoon time and I needed a MAJOR pick me up. I was in no mood for Starbucks AND I needed a drive thru because I couldn't handle unloading and reloading my infant son and 2 year old son over again just for a quick coffee. I drove by Dutch and decided to pull in. I've never been and didn't know what or how to order. The lines in both sides were quite long but I got lucky and hit the shortest line. A young man was running back and forth taking mobile orders to expedite line time. This made me feel bad because being a noob I had no idea what they offered. However, the young man was very helpful helping me decide. He asked what I was looking to get and I said def. Some kind of strong but smooth iced coffee, and that usually the drinks I order have vanilla and caramel ... He said he highly suggested the golden eagle and gave me a quick description. Sounded good so I said sure. To make things OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING (which was perfect timing since I was having an absolutely awful, terrible, horrible day) they said the drink was on them!!!! Probably the slowest of all the Dutch Bros I've been to. The people are nice enough that work here but the lines are very very long. Why they don't use runners here constantly? I don't know. Dutch Bros is generally amazing. However, this location seems to go above and beyond the already high bar Dutch Bros has set for itself. After only a few mornings they recognized my drink order and learned my name. They always make my drink perfectly, even though it's not standard. They work quickly and rarely have lines in the morning. When they do, they have someone out there taking orders ahead, even if it's raining! The drinks are fine as always, super sweet, highly caffeinated and exactly what you're looking for. But the customer service here is a friggen joke. It's Sunday, both lanes have at least 5 cars, there are 3 people outside taking orders and 6 or so employees on the inside. There busy, I get it. I work I customer service too. However, twice when we attempted to place our order the guy at the window turned around and started chatting with a coworker. One girl lifts up all 3 tip jars and makes a comment about how much money they're making, everyone cheers... all talking to each other, meanwhile the driver of the car opposite me and I make eye contact and feel like we probably won't be back. This isn't your damned social hour, this is your job. read more

Normally this Dutch Bro's is very friendly and I never had any problems, although tonight we had a miscommunication with a whole milk/oat milk and we got whole milk when my girlfriend cannot have dairy. We went back to ask for our drinks changed to oat milk and we brought our drinks which were both mostly full and the employee immediately started looking for our order and was very defensive in the fact that it was oat milk and was implying that we were wrong and was very rude about it. Then I told her it just didn't taste like oat milk and she cut me off and said she's trying to find our order and then finally found the order just to let me know she had put down whole milk and misheard me. I have never had anyone be so rude about something they messed up on especially when the customer is always right and in this case it can cause a major allergic reaction. She then proceeded to ask for our drinks back but never once apologized or asked if my girlfriend was ok after consuming dairy to which I had already told her she was allergic to. I'm from California so Dutch bros was new to me. They were super friendly and even gave our dogs treats. I got a German chocolate latte with almond milk. I love that they have alternative milk! I used to be the biggest dutch fiene, back when their company morals were straight. It was poppin because they actually gave a personal experience, although now, the person never bothers to talk to me anymore. I get it, customer service drains you out but they don't even ask me how my day is going anymore, its just "whatcha drinkin today?" The thing that makes me the most upset is when you know the person, they will give you three stickers and fill up your stamp card which are huge no-no's for dutch workers. They ignore all the rules when their friends come by. They don't branch out and socialize with new costumers which makes me not want to come back, if I didn't want the experience I would go to another place that has better coffee. This leads me to my next point: their coffee kinda sucks. I'm sorry to say this, but the coffee, rebels, and teas aren't good. I go there for the experience and a mediocre drink after. When I don't get the experience, I don't enjoy the drink as much either; making me think that I wasted my time and money for something that's gonna melt in my car afterwards. My last point is that the workers think they on some other level for working at dutch (it's a coffee shop, you'll be cool when you get a job that pays above minimum wage). Their cocky-ness is very uninviting, I want nice and genuine people that want to lift peoples spirits and are actually interested in the other person; rather than to just be nice for a tip or make the interaction less awkward (you can tell). {Just a thought: to help boost with the socializing, you can teach your workers how to socialize because it is a skill that needs to be learned and practiced} This is something that has been on my mind for the passed several months and I just wanted to tell you guys why y'alls business is going down. I'm a huge fan of the BG Dutch Brothers. They are VERY supportive of the community, and their staff are kind, funny and make the BEST drinks. I walked away from Starbucks because they are NOT community friendly and over-charge for their drinks. Large and Extra large have the same number of shots in it. Too bad. Starbucks was always a Northwest staple. Now it's Dutch Brothers all the way!! Their drinks are well made, if they make a mistake (give you a cold instead of hot drink) they just remake it, no questions asked.
