Since that was a large amount of money to put into an older car we told her to get other estimates. So she took it to Mr Front End for an estimate and didn't tell them anything about what H Tech said she needed done or the price to see if they were similar. They told her she needed the same repairs as H Tech told her but quoted her $1200 - HALF THE PRICE. Obviously she had the repairs done at Mr Front End and her car is driving good as new. I truly feel that this place was trying to take advantage of a young girl who they didn't think would know any better - that's the only reasonable explanation I can come up with and that's disgusting. I wouldn't recommend anyone taking their vehicles here. Oh and they charged her $75 for the estimate because she chose not to have the work done there. I didn't know they charged that much for an estimate or I would've told my daughter to go elsewhere from the start. However better to pay them $75 and be done vs their jacked up price for repairs.

I took it to the dealership and I do not have a leaking head gasket but the timing cover gasket abd seals are leaking oil. Also my engine light has never come on prior to taking it to this shop but it came after abd I immediately took it to the dealership. So dealership says I have something going on with my EVAP system as well. It's just funny how all these issues happened within days of taking it to this shop. Coincidence?
