I wish I could say something good - I tried for months to get Old Mill to move forward on a quote I…read morehad been given by their sales guy, and it kept falling in the cracks. I was told they had a system that had moved the deal to lost, but they admitted that was an accidental issue on their side. Then, I was repeatedly told someone would call, but I never heard. The last straw was when I called and was told they had been dialing the wrong number for me - I only have one number. Then they called back (number works now) and said that everything was worked out, but now they have had a "significant" (their words) price increase, and the minimum order I had been quoted of $700 would now be $1500. That is not customer service and is not how business should be done. I offer this review as a warning to others. There are other companies, and hopefully, you will have a good experience. I did not.

We canceled all the other estimates. He called a couple hours later and raised the price another $250 because he overlooked paying for another person to help. Upset, I agreed to it. Only to have him, the owner, drop materials off a few days later and then advise he needed to bring another, 3rd, person to help and had to raise the price another $250. When he showed up, he only brought one other person, did the work, and still charged me the last inflated price. All that said, he did offer me the opportunity to back out of him doing the job.

Greg has a Christian faith approach sales pitch do not be fooled by it. His contract says payment…read morecompleted when work is completed, he asked for money for the work up front I gave him over half of the total for the roof work $4,000. He said that he would take what the insurance company paid as payment in full and he would waive the $500 deductible. I told him instead of waiving it We needed some window trim and pillars wood trim and paint done so I asked him for a quote on those he said $700 which I paid when the work was completed. Part of the roof work at the back of the house was not completed and required him to send additional information to my insurance company he claimed he had tried to contact them but was unable to when I asked why he didn't tell me he said he forgot. I told him once the work was complete I would render payment in full I reached out to my insurance company so he could send them the documentation like he said he tried to do and yelled at me for me to do then refused to do it. He told me he was going to sue me because he wanted to be paid in full but was unwilling to email the documentation or set a date to complete the repairs. Much of what he had said, I learned today were lies, still at one point he said I never paid him the $700 and called me a liar. All the while saying he was suing me the most recent payment from my insurance company was 5/8 and today 5/13 he's threatening a lawsuit, because I told him once the work is completed he'll be paid the total from the insurance which he said he would accept. He also found the $700 payment and did not even apologize for calling me a liar. Today, I've been yelled at, insulted, and threatened by Greg Schuller. Yet he wonders why I won't pay him in full today without the work being completed. He has already been paid more than half. If he had problems sending in additional documentation to my insurance why didn't he tell me? Said he tried two weeks ago to send it in but couldn't get through to my insurance and yet he said the work was completed and, sent in a certificate of completion. Seems to me he didn't plan on making sure everything was completed and was going to take the money and run. I've had roof repairs done multiple times in 13 years and this is a first. I should not have let him send in a certificate of completion without knowing for sure he did complete the work and that's on me. I trusted him and am being sued for it. So beware he is not who he presents himself to be!

B&B Fencing Huntsville, AL Notice: This review is not a…read more"AI-generated bunch of fluffy BS" review like we're all starting to see on the inter-web - I personally drafted this in WordPad, and pasted it into this damnable media location ( yes, I'm a grumpy old man). We had 800+ feet of chain-link fence, a 16' double gate, a 12' and an 8' single gate, installed this past April by another local company (which shall remain nameless for legal reasons). We had to have these "other guys" out a few more times to make "corrections" - which they just couldn't do, not without screwing up something else...with their "good-enough" or "that's the way WE do it" attitudes (and the crew couldn't speak or understand English). We were frustrated and fed up, and couldn't see anything EVER being "right" (even with a 1-year warranty on labor). After much research, and wading through the "real" reviews, we called B&B in mid-July; "Can y'all fix this s__t?" After a lengthy review of the obvious problems and proposed solutions, Jentry assured us they could eliminate the humps and sags, and floppy fabric, and too-short / out-of-plumb line-posts, and uneven margins, and loose tension-wire, and fix the gates, and.... "Let's do it." "Ed" and his crew were here, early. We did a quick review of the tasks to be done, and they got to work. All of the line-posts were removed, and replaced with new ones; and this time they were straight, plumb, and a string-line used to cut them to the EXACT height (as opposed to no evidence of a string-line being used by the "other guys"). The loop caps were PROPERLY placed, the old terminal posts were cut to PROPER height and caps set level, the fabric was stretched "TIGHT," and was attached with the industry-recommended number of ties so that there was "half-a-diamond" showing above the top-rail (NOT a whole diamond - give-or-take). The gate posts were re-configured for PROPER spacing of the gates and the provided latches, all of the dug-up rocks and dirt were removed (as opposed to being left where dug up, or strategically hidden about the property, as per the original installer). ALL of this was accomplished in LESS than three days, even when digging the holes BY HAND, and for at least half a day with only two men working, vs. three. When there was any question, we could quickly communicate, confer, and decide. (The previous installer initially took four days, using a tracked machine to dig the holes, and a machine to mix the concrete, and with three men who needed help to understand how to use a drill to drill holes in gate-posts.) B&B's crew, with "Ed" as the foreman, was OUTSTANDING! We're SO pleased with their work - it looks GREAT, and all of the gates close and latch properly now! The owner, Brett, was readily available, and was out to personally inspect the job. If you're needing fencing done RIGHT the first time, you won't regret hiring this outfit to do it. Highly Recommend!
