If I could give a zero star I would. I appreciate the difficulties with running a restaurant. Staffing at minimum wage and expecting staff to deliver food preparared well or at least safe to eat is tough. I gotta believe the bare minimum a would be safe to eat at least. This restaurant is not clean ( go look at the kitchen) and the food is not safe to eat. I have been a member of the associated golf club, Angels Crosding in past years and experienced less than good food and service in the past. But they have reached a new low. This year (2019) there were a lot of changes in leadership for the golf course AND the restaurant and I was hopeful things would improve, but wary. I should have been MUCH MORE wary. Tonight May 23, 2019 after playing in league, II decided for the first time in months to try the food. I order a simple dinner, a grilled chicken breast with two sides - price $16.00. It came out fast! In hindsight probably much to fast. I am 68 years old, and need reading glasses to read, and and after this experience I probably should make it a rule to wear them when I eat. Why? Well after a few bites of chicken I thought " this is pretty chewy for chicken" ! I put my glasses on and to my horror, the chicken was raw. I showed the chicken to several people at my table and my server who confirmed it was raw. U fortunately, I had eaten several bites by this time. Plenty to getbgetbvety ill from eating raw chicken. Of course I sent it back. I had NO interest in having it re-prepared. I asked to speak to the kitchen manager who was there - but she was to cowardly to come out to speak with me claiming she was to busy. I say bull to that. My server said I would not be charged (big deal I ate little to nothing) and given my overpriced glass of wine for free. (Who cares about a free glass of wine if I get sick or die) This is wrong. I will be calling the health department tomorrow morning to report this. (if I am not sick or in the hospital) I've heard of other horror stories and it's time the City of Vicksburg to be be held acvountable. This was our 4th time coming here, but haven't been in a while. Unfortunately, in that time, they have a new menu & chef. Previously, the food was great, the space is nice, and the service was ok, so I would've given at least 3 or 4. This trip I am struggling to get to 2 stars. The price charged for the food & service was too high. I realize this is at Angels Crossing, but it is not THAT nice to charge for the ambiance. Though the place was empty, it felt as though we were bothering our waitress. She seemed nice, but we didn't know there were any specials until after we ordered & our choices were not available, drinks were not refilled, took about 10 min of us staring her down at the bar to be noticed to request our check & then the check had incorrect pricing. I would imagine at a place where customers aren't beating down the door, a waitress might be a little more attentive to get a better tip. Maybe they get straight pay here so it doesn't matter? The chicken with nachos were $12.12 and served cold with the cheese solidified causing all the chips to stick together in one large clump with a large ladle of sour cream in the middle, toppings that were an after thought, and a small plastic cup of salsa. The salsa was fresh & good, wish we had more of that. The Hill salad was missing cucumbers and tomatoes, no explanation. Small size for a $10 salad missing ingredients. The special, a Thai Chicken Wrap was $9.54. The coleslaw accompaniment was not good, no flavor. The wrap was tasty though, and that was the only item besides $5 beer we felt was on par. Fantastic food every time. Wide variety of flavors. The chef and staff make a point to learn your name, remember what you like and make you feel welcome. Service is fast, but you're never rushed to leave. Ditch the chain restaurant and give this place a try. You wont be sorry. read more

We visited on a Saturday evening for the prime rib special. It was a good meal, the prime rib was cooked as requested and came with broccoli and redskin mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is nice and there are great views of the golf course. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was not very busy, probably due to the fact it is a golf course restaurant, people don't expect it to be open during the winter. We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return. read more

We made a reservation two weeks before our family Christmas dinner. When we showed up at our reservation time, the restaurant was full of people and we were told that they "are not open Saturdays". When we stated we had a reservation, we were told that they called to tell us they could no longer honor the reservation. Clearly they got a bigger party and dumped us. We had no call or message on any of our phones. This is why small town businesses fail. What a terrible first impression! I will make certain to spend my money at restaurants that want it. read more

Love this place! They now have a new menu and a new chef who really knows what she's doing! My favorite is the Asian chicken salad. They're burgers and mashed potatoes are really good too! read more

We actually booked Creekside Grille to host a rehearsal dinner. Not only was the staff friendly, but the food was amazing! We had a different menu than what they usually serve (buffet style) and it served a variety of delicious food! They even helped us set up and decorate! Everyone was impressed of the location and how nice everything is! Its definitely "big city service with a small town feel"! The owner took the time to get to know us by our names and checked on us throughout the night. The bride and groom were very impressed with the staff as well! read more
