I can definitely see why it's such a popular venue for weddings. Parking is very easy with a relatively spacious lot. It's handicap friendly. The GPS instructions were accurate. Be sure to check out their social media or call their number to stay up to date on weekend closures for private events before visiting. The wedding season is around March to November. Communication for event space rentals is by email only. During the wedding season they may a little slower to reply but they always did reply eventually. For weddings they tend to book out about two years in advance for weekends. If you ask about Fridays there may be some same year availability. As a non-profit they are a relatively affordable venue. Weddings require almost full day rentals. But something else like a baby shower or memorial can be rented out by the hour with a minimum time. They require a permit to be purchased for professional photos. But it's a modest price and goes to a good cause. It's $75/hour for the photo permit and for a garden use permit like a small gathering it's $300. Walnut Creek is lucky to have such a beautiful gem. I highly recommend checking them out!

Our guests raved about the food! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be regarding the bridal suite. While functional, it could definitely benefit from an upgrade. Adding a private bathroom and a lock on the door would make a huge difference in comfort and privacy for the bride on such an important day. Our game was the pirate themed Depths of Osiris (check out the preview vids on YouTube), and it was perfect for a team of an adult and two ten year olds. My boys had no trouble getting used to the VR gear they had to wear for the experience (a headset and two hand controllers - it was their first time). We had to cooperate to solve each room's puzzle to unlock a new room. Eventually, we got to the final scenario which was exciting and really required us to collaborate. The puzzles were well constructed and mostly understandable from a logic perspective. The graphics and sound were pretty decent (it's not super-high res like Cyberpunk) and matched the gameplay perfectly. We got some timely tips from the game master too, and cleared the puzzle with about a minute left on our 45 minute timer. The facilities are super clean and well maintained. They also have snacks and drinks which are nice to make the visit special for younger kids. My sons want to come back, and I do too. I also heard they are adding a physical escape room, so definitely something to look forward to.

For the venue space, there is one restroom and they provide a changing table which is PERFECT for our event. They arranged for bartender service and also helped cleanup and keeping the event tidy with making sure trash cans were managed, dirty glassware was constantly picked up, and venue amenities were running smoothly (music, lighting, fans, clean up). We utilized the parking in the back but it is metered so you have to keep an eye on the meter. However, it was extremely convenient to have for loading and unloading. They will be my go-to venue space going forward.

They arrived on time and adjusted to the changes at the venue with no problem. We enjoyed the different mini sandwiches and deviled eggs, and the cut fruit was fresh and nicely presented. The biscotti were also excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.
