Let me preface this review by noting that I lived here for one year back in 2011-2012. In short: I would only recommend living on Creekstone if you can get a top floor unit and if you have roommates. Stay away otherwise. The location, in my opinion, was great. It's close to shopping and it was close to where I worked at the time. It wasn't unreasonably far from UNC and it was very close to AIMS. It is definitely located on a nicer side of town, however that made it more expensive. I never had an issue with crime and had no issues walking around late at night. Never had my car broken into nor did I see anyone else have the issue. The amenities were fair. Pool and hot tub was nice; although I rarely used either. I never touched the business center (or anything in the clubhouse) but I could see it being useful to those who didn't have internet/personal computer. The leasing staff was generally fairly nice. They were respectful, remembered our names, and for the most part seemed to care about our well being. The manager of the complex at the time, was the exact opposite. Her personality was very fake and she did not seem to care for us at any point during the lease. Thankfully, my interactions with her were limited (by choice...) thus making her not a huge issue. The apartment interior itself was decent. The kitchen was a little bland; the finish being particularly boring. However it accomplished what it was supposed to do. The carpets were clean but did show signs of normal wear and tear. Our unit had vaulted ceilings which was definitely a nice touch. The bathrooms were similar to the kitchen in their boring finish. You really have to decorate to make the place feel alive. When we first moved in (and upon move out), the apartment was uncomfortably white. There are very few other colors (besides the carpet). Overall, I had very little complaints about the interior. It was a 3 bedroom unit, but it did feel quite cramped at times. We had a unit on the highest floor. Thus we dodged noise from any neighbors above us. Those who lived below could barely (if ever) be heard. I had a few friends who have lived at Creekstone. However, they lived in similar units, and so I never got to experience the noise level of an apartment unit that was not the top floor. Neighbors that shared a wall were also a non-issue. The only problem with noise came from outside the apartment. Our unit overlooked the pool and (as expected) we could hear whenever someone was at the pool. It wasn't just the pool though. Typically, anyone who happened to be walking by our building could be heard if they were talking. Most of the time, it would remain completely quiet at night, but there were a few annoyances of drunken conversations happening outside our windows. When it comes to price, being that we lived in a 3 bedroom, it was reasonably split three ways. At one point prior to moving in with the two roommates I had considered a one bedroom. The pricing (back in 2011) was ridiculous for a unit the size they were offering. There were far cheaper places in Greeley that offered the same (if not more amenities). Overall, I didn't really mind my stay at Creekstone. The convenience for my work would have made it worth it had the one-bedrooms been more reasonably priced. I definitely wouldn't make it your first choice as there are better places that can be found. However, if you've got roommates and most of what you do is in southwest Greeley, then it's a decent choice. read more

So I went with my friend to go tour these apartments and let me tell you the lady was so rude to us and had an attitude. We went on the tour with the main manager and he was nice. So on a sunny weekend we went back to just walk around and have a feel of the place and we were surprised by the flyers on the complexes that they have roaches. Not only that they had dirty parking lots with lots of trash and leaves. Same with the landscaping a lot of trash and leaves. Do they not have people that clean? For the prices that they have these apartments should have a cleaner and more organized place. And better attitude. Hard pass. Especially with the roaches...No thank you. read more

This place is horrible. Not only do cars get stolen from their parking lot 2-3 times a month - confirmed by Greeley PD they will not take responsibility for anything. Their maintenance people have zero clue what they are doing and their smoke alarms will go off periodically throughout the year. I've had mine go off several time between 2am and 5:30am. The management team is extremely disrespectful and condescending. They have gone through multiple agents already and managers. If you love having you vehicles broken into or stolen, crappy repairs, and a management team who doesn't give a crap about you or your property this is the place for you. Oh and good luck parking cuz there are not enough spots for how many residents they have. Worse apartment living experience I've ever had. This place is a joke. read more

This review is long overdue and should really have a one star, but only one of their leasing professionals impressed us and saved her team from a terrible review. During our initial visit, we entered the leasing office and another leasing member stared at us like a deer in the headlights; no introduction or even a greeting. Then another leasing member, Morgan, stepped in and told her that she could take care of us and FINALLY we were welcomed by somebody. We were already turned off by the other worker, but Morgan was welcoming throughout the tour and answered all our questions with ease that we had forgotten about that uncomfortable moment in the beginning. We loved the location of the complex and how clean the grounds were and we were also looking forward to working with Morgan because of how prepared she was. We were ready to apply and were gathering our proof of income, but we wanted to compare the 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom floorplan so we reached out again to schedule a viewing. This is where Creekstone lost us as interested renters. During the time of scheduling another tour, I called and the property manager answered. This property manager, Cherie, was condescending and was not listening to our needs at all. We chose to wait for Morgan to return from her vacation, but even after she returned and accommodated us we were so turned off by the property manager that we rented at another complex instead. I can see why there's negative reviews for this complex. I wish I could suggest this place to other renters and have them work with Morgan only, but unless the rest of the team improves (including the PM), then I suggest you rent elsewhere and save yourself the frustration and headaches. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I filled out an app and after being assured if anything would fall through I would get my money back, I put $350 down, a few days later I lost my job and called Erica the one we were working with on our "future" lease, to let her know I had lost my job and we wouldn't be able to move in. She then told me I would not be getting my money back, even though I had asked her a few times before giving money, if something happens we get this back right? "Yes of course because you haven't signed a lease." Wrong. They kept our money and she was an outright jerk about it. I tell everyone who mentions looking for a place to live, about our experience there. Awful! read more

I would not live here if this was the last place to live!!! The management is horrible!! They seem nice but once that lease is signed forget it!!!!! Maintenance will go in to fix something and tell you there is nothing wrong!!! It took 3 times of them coming to our apartment to finally realize it was broken!! DUH!! We switched apartments and it was pure filth!! They had three different move in dates for us at the office!! I wanted to call corporate but the manager begged us not to!! Maybe her job was already on the line?? If not it should be!! She said she would have maintenance come in and do some work. We always got denied to get the work done that was promised. Also asked if we we're gonna get charged for the stuff that was already wrong. She said no but we did!! The first one that we moved from (we switched to a ground level) the person doing the walk through with us said it was cleaner than what it was when we moved in!!! But we still got some charges of things they said was not done!! I had it professionally cleaned!! I could go on and I about how shitty of a place this is!!! Management sucks!!! Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't want to give one star but you have to put something.......ugh!! read more

The move out charges were ridiculous! My family spent two days thoroughly cleaning the entire apartment. When we received the bill we were charged for having to clean the toilets, all of the sinks, and a bunch of other things that were spotless when we left. When we contacted them to complain and request what was specifically dirty, we were told that they would get back to us. Our next contact with them was a bill from a collection agency. We think they overcharged with the intent to turn the bill over so that they could afford new appliances and carpeting for several apartments. When we moved in there was discoloration to the bathroom tiles and nails sticking out of the walls. These charges were included in our move out fees Additionally, there were noise restrictions except when it came to the property manager's son. He would return home late and party until all hours of the night. This was never discouraged or penalized. The final nail in the coffin of this review is regarding their landscaping service. They were careless and continually scraped up the bumpers of our cars. read more

When you think of renting as a trap think Creekstone Apartments. The price is my main complaint. I pay over a thousand a month for a one bedroom. Rent is more expensive than buying in this area and this place skimps on every expense while charging about forty percent more than it's worth. Walls and floors are thin, I'm a quiet guy but my neighbor tells me about every sound I make. The location isn't bad at all I must say. read more

Living at Creekstone wasn't bad once the couple upstairs who couldn't stop fighting moved out. I had to call the office and the police many times. Then the last year of my lease we got flooded four times. Two by other tenants water heaters and two by the rains. Then when it came to move out I got hit with an almost $300 bill over and above my deposit. Some of the items I agreed with. Most I didn't. Like the stains left in the carpets die to the flooding, among various other things. I received the notice in the mail and was given 5 days to pay or it goes to collections. That's bull crap. And when I tried to call to discuss the charges they refused my calls, and never answered my emails. I talked to a lawyer and with the deadline to go to collections a day away I elected to just pay the bill. Rather than risk my credit. Between that and the stack of maintenance orders I had, I would never live there nor would I recommend it to anyone. Oh it's supposed to be a dog free complex but that's not true. I seen dogs all over. Even Erica the asst manager who lived on site had a dog. But questions if I had a dog. This place is horrible. read more

Avoid Creekstone. They suck you in with some pretty nice amenities for the Greeley area, but once you move in... The maintenance and help is almost nonexistent. The office staff is absolutely rude and has no concept of honesty. They nickel-and-dime the shit out of you when you check out, and beyond that, it's guaranteed that you will never see a dime of your deposit, and they charge you furthermore for "damages" beyond your deposit amount... this is all decided AFTER you've checked out and had the paperwork SIGNED AND DATED. I'm sure it's illegal in capacity. Futhermore, they'll claim they never had a forwarding address or contact information (... we lived with them for two years, so that's a straight up lie), so they'll send it to collections with no knowledge to you. They're extremely unprofessional. It's okay while you live there, but the crap that you deal with afterwards (which has happened to EVERYONE who has lived here) completely overshadows anything that was slightly mediocre in your time there. Until it's under new ownership and staff, this place is not worth your money. read more
