The absolute worst place I have ever rented from . from putting in maintenance requests for leaking…read morerefrigerator.( that never got fixed)To being illegally charged and harassed to pay for a bike rack that i did not even damage. I see these reviews by others and they aren't lying , be careful before signing lease here . Then to top all this off i got a bill for 3,000$ when i moved out when lease was up . Stating they are charging me for washer machine boot replacement and other ridiculous charges. Be careful where you rent from people .

The lofts is HORRIBLE. Since the middle of may our hot water has only been working on and off. They…read morewould come reset it and it would only work for a few hours or a day and then we would have to reset it multiple times each week. We have had 6 service requests since then, multiple plumbers and nothing has worked long term. The last plumber said that our water heater needed to be replaced and the lofts said they wanted a second opinion. We have an infant and have had to microwave water just to bathe him. Today they came to tell us we would have to wait a few days for the new plumber and called the gas company which said that we had a gas leak and shut off our gas. Now we have to wait for the plumber to fix it, the city to inspect it, then the gas company will come back to turn gas back on and then the plumber said after that they can come back to reattach the water heater piping. This is not going to be resolved quickly and their solution is to offer another apartment on the other side of the building for us to use to shower. This is unacceptable, having our gas off affects more than just a shower and is even harder to deal with a baby. We have asked to be let out of our lease due to uninhabitable conditions only to be told no because we never called the emergency line which was never necessary since we put in 6 service requests. It got so bad they unlocked the water heater closet for us to reset it ourselves (sometimes as many as 5x in a day) until that stopped working. They want us to pay over $1700 for us to break our lease. UNACCEPTABLE.

When my daughter moved out, she & her friend spent about 6 hrs over 2 days cleaning everything…read moreincluding the carpets. She took pictures to show the apartment was clean. The manager did a walk through without her & marked EVERYTHING dirty & a couple things damaged. I'm sure it wasn't "perfect", she's not a professional cleaner, but it wasn't dirty & nothing was damaged when she left that final time. She found the mouse in her apartment that management really did nothing about. It was found dead behind the fridge when she & her friend pulled it out to clean behind it. She has a video of that. Dog poop on the sidewalks & in the grassy areas. Parking is horrible. I just have to wonder how many other people were accused of leaving their apartment a mess & with some damages when they too spent hours cleaning & trying to do the right thing. I've asked for make/model of the fridge along with copies of any receipts for the "damaged" things that were replaced. I notice another review says they were also charged for broken refrigerator bins that weren't broken when she moved out. Interesting. I doubt I'll get them. In reality, they probably paid a cleaning company about $70 to do a cursory cleaning because that's all that was needed. That's fine. But all the other nonsense was ridiculous. They have no shame. Typical corporate greed.

Okay the good: The office management is great at responding to request and conflict management…read more Maintenance is great as well and responds in a timely manner. My bad experience: I recently purchased a new vehicle and brought the vehicle home at 9pm. The following morning I discovered that my car had been towed for not having a permit. I understand needing a permit as it was in the lease but my anger comes from the fact that I did not have the opportunity to go to the office to receive a permit the following morning. After paying $250 to my new vehicle out of the compound they added insult to injury by charging $5 for a new permit. The office was unsympathetic and made a condescending remark about reviewing the lease.

I have mixed feelings about my experience living at Crescent Cove Apartments…read more There have been some positive aspects. When our washer broke less than a year after moving in, maintenance eventually repaired it and management reimbursed us for the money we spent at the laundromat by crediting our rent. I appreciated that effort. However, the repair took approximately three weeks because they were waiting on a part. During that time, my husband and I had to haul laundry to a laundromat while juggling four jobs between us, caring for an autistic child, and raising a one-year-old. It created a significant hardship for our family. We also experienced an incident where our upstairs neighbors flooded their apartment. Water came into our unit and ran down a wall containing an electrical outlet. Fortunately, there was no lasting damage, but it was concerning while it was happening. Another ongoing concern has been excessive noise. There have been multiple occasions where loud music has continued late enough that we felt it was necessary to involve law enforcement. As a family with young children, including an autistic child, having a peaceful living environment is very important to us. We have also repeatedly dealt with the smell of marijuana entering our apartment from neighboring units. We have submitted multiple complaints because we are concerned about our children's exposure, but the issue has continued. One of my biggest frustrations has been the pool. It seems to be closed frequently for cleaning and maintenance during times residents are most likely to use it. For example, yesterday it was closed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and today cleaning began at 5:00 p.m., right when many people are getting home from work and school. The pool access rules are also extremely restrictive. Residents must have a key card and wristbands. Even when wearing the required wristbands, residents cannot enter through the lobby and must go through the pool gate. The process feels unnecessarily complicated for paying residents. My most disappointing experience has been with the office staff. Francesca has repeatedly come across as dismissive, condescending, and unhelpful in my interactions with her. On one occasion, she stated she had called my husband with an update, but that was not our experience. I have also found it very difficult to speak directly with management, as calls do not seem to get transferred when requested. Overall, while I appreciate that some issues have been addressed when brought to management's attention, the recurring noise problems, persistent marijuana odor, maintenance concerns, pool accessibility issues, and customer service experience have made living here frustrating. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective residents to carefully consider these factors before signing a lease.
