They don't have good signage on the apartments so if you are moving in or ordering something count on it getting lost. The doorway and stairs are super narrow for some reason. The parking and trash is really bad there. The trash is always overfilled and if it's windy the trash will be all over the complex. Not enough parking and if there is it's a spot in an alley behind the complex. My car had been broken into two times when I parked back there. If they try to sell you on the fact that they have balconies make sure you see it for yourself. The upstairs apts have wooden planks that haven't been cleaned or refinished in a long time. Ours had some drawings from the previous tenets kids and we would get splinters from the wood. Management is a revolving door someone is always in training and doesn't know the answer to your question if you call. They are friendly and nice but not super informative. They have made moving out even harder than moving in. It's better to spend your money on a nicer apartment :/

Stay away otherwise. The location, in my opinion, was great. It's close to shopping and it was close to where I worked at the time. It wasn't unreasonably far from UNC and it was very close to AIMS. It is definitely located on a nicer side of town, however that made it more expensive. I never had an issue with crime and had no issues walking around late at night. Never had my car broken into nor did I see anyone else have the issue. The amenities were fair. Pool and hot tub was nice; although I rarely used either. I never touched the business center (or anything in the clubhouse) but I could see it being useful to those who didn't have internet/personal computer. The leasing staff was generally fairly nice. They were respectful, remembered our names, and for the most part seemed to care about our well being. The manager of the complex at the time, was the exact opposite. Her personality was very fake and she did not seem to care for us at any point during the lease. Thankfully, my interactions with her were limited (by choice...) thus making her not a huge issue. The apartment interior itself was decent. The kitchen was a little bland; the finish being particularly boring. However it accomplished what it was supposed to do. The carpets were clean but did show signs of normal wear and tear. Our unit had vaulted ceilings which was definitely a nice touch. The bathrooms were similar to the kitchen in their boring finish. You really have to decorate to make the place feel alive. When we first moved in (and upon move out), the apartment was uncomfortably white. There are very few other colors (besides the carpet). Overall, I had very little complaints about the interior. It was a 3 bedroom unit, but it did feel quite cramped at times. We had a unit on the highest floor. Thus we dodged noise from any neighbors above us. Those who lived below could barely (if ever) be heard. I had a few friends who have lived at Creekstone. However, they lived in similar units, and so I never got to experience the noise level of an apartment unit that was not the top floor. Neighbors that shared a wall were also a non-issue. The only problem with noise came from outside the apartment. Our unit overlooked the pool and (as expected) we could hear whenever someone was at the pool. It wasn't just the pool though. Typically, anyone who happened to be walking by our building could be heard if they were talking. Most of the time, it would remain completely quiet at night, but there were a few annoyances of drunken conversations happening outside our windows. When it comes to price, being that we lived in a 3 bedroom, it was reasonably split three ways. At one point prior to moving in with the two roommates I had considered a one bedroom. The pricing (back in 2011) was ridiculous for a unit the size they were offering. There were far cheaper places in Greeley that offered the same (if not more amenities). Overall, I didn't really mind my stay at Creekstone. The convenience for my work would have made it worth it had the one-bedrooms been more reasonably priced. I definitely wouldn't make it your first choice as there are better places that can be found. However, if you've got roommates and most of what you do is in southwest Greeley, then it's a decent choice.

It took two weeks for them to check out our fire alarm because it would go off when you showered. When they did, the maintenance person came at 4 pm on a Sunday and said that they had been in the apartment without notice. Parking is nearly impossible after 9pm either due to a lack of spots or trucks taking up more than one spot. They would also sticker your window if you parked over the sidewalk or backed in, and threatened to tow. After a year of living there and a full 2 days of cleaning, they charged us $208 in cleaning fees(which is illegal according to Colorado Law), first for a routine cleaning, and then they changed it to "odor in the carpet" after being notified of the law. They also charged a cleaning fee for the apartment as a whole and later changed the description to "cleaning of appliances," which are all old and stained. Overall, the apartment is not worth what you pay, and we found something much better in town without too much looking.

Maintenance staff is fantastic. They handle maintenance requests usually on the same day. The complex is very dog friendly and has dog stations throughout the complex. Most of the residents are responsible dog owners and pick up after their dog. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. The entire staff goes out of their way to make this community our home. I live on 3rd floor, 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. The apartment is great size and has washer/dryer hookups/ The only draw back is the stairs to get to my third floor apartment. When our washer broke less than a year after moving in, maintenance eventually repaired it and management reimbursed us for the money we spent at the laundromat by crediting our rent. I appreciated that effort. However, the repair took approximately three weeks because they were waiting on a part. During that time, my husband and I had to haul laundry to a laundromat while juggling four jobs between us, caring for an autistic child, and raising a one-year-old. It created a significant hardship for our family. We also experienced an incident where our upstairs neighbors flooded their apartment. Water came into our unit and ran down a wall containing an electrical outlet. Fortunately, there was no lasting damage, but it was concerning while it was happening. Another ongoing concern has been excessive noise. There have been multiple occasions where loud music has continued late enough that we felt it was necessary to involve law enforcement. As a family with young children, including an autistic child, having a peaceful living environment is very important to us. We have also repeatedly dealt with the smell of marijuana entering our apartment from neighboring units. We have submitted multiple complaints because we are concerned about our children's exposure, but the issue has continued. One of my biggest frustrations has been the pool. It seems to be closed frequently for cleaning and maintenance during times residents are most likely to use it. For example, yesterday it was closed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and today cleaning began at 5:00 p.m., right when many people are getting home from work and school. The pool access rules are also extremely restrictive. Residents must have a key card and wristbands. Even when wearing the required wristbands, residents cannot enter through the lobby and must go through the pool gate. The process feels unnecessarily complicated for paying residents. My most disappointing experience has been with the office staff. Francesca has repeatedly come across as dismissive, condescending, and unhelpful in my interactions with her. On one occasion, she stated she had called my husband with an update, but that was not our experience. I have also found it very difficult to speak directly with management, as calls do not seem to get transferred when requested. Overall, while I appreciate that some issues have been addressed when brought to management's attention, the recurring noise problems, persistent marijuana odor, maintenance concerns, pool accessibility issues, and customer service experience have made living here frustrating. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective residents to carefully consider these factors before signing a lease.
