Once they brought us in, they had a calming sound machine on which I thought was a really thoughtful touch. The nurse and doctor were both very informative and friendly. My dog can be difficult with strangers. At the beginning she would let any of them near her, and would bark. They were so patient and wanted to try a few different techniques in approaching her. The last try was me bringing her back into the exam area and walk away leaving her alone with them. I was so nervous she wasn't going to behave and we'd have to leave. Less than one minute after I left, I heard someone say "what a good girl". Phew. She did great with them, absolutely fantastic. What a relief. To have an anxious dog that acts out and barks when nervous, it was such a relief how they managed her and she reacted so positively. They are incredibly affordable. The clinic is very clean. Everyone is so attentive and polite. And now I feel confident again, not only is she in good hands, but she's also okay & is building trust with them. Which is most important

I gave them my credit card, made the appointment and sadly put my dog down. Today I received notice that Caine and Weiner company aka Blue Cross reported me to collections for a bill that I had paid in advanc3 of my appointment. Now I will have to fight the credit agencies and Blue Cross because they made a mistake and didn't apply my advance payment to the bill. When I left the appointment they never said I owed anything, when I picked up my dogs remains they never said I owed anything. On top of all of this I had spent thousands of dollars in vet bills for my dogs yeast ear infections that they were never able to cure, just billed me time and again for each appointment and never resolved the issue. Worst vet experience ever. Stay away. Keep youe receipts if you do use them.

The staff here always looks out for the dogs' best interests and I trust them 100% with my puppies' lives. They have saved Stout and I know that if anything happens to Merwin, they will take good care of him. They are not the least expensive clinic but they also go above and beyond to make sure that animals are safe during surgery and well cared for all year round. Estimates are itemized and explained so you know what is optional and what is necessary. And they do a great job of explaining a variety of potential scenarios so that you can make the best decision. When I brought Stout and Merwin in together, I was impressed with how smoothly that went. Normally Stout doesn't love going to the vet. He loves Dr. Leach but he's had so many dental surgeries that he associates the vet with being uncomfortable. But with he and Merwin together, he seemed to relax a little and enjoy seeing Dr. Leach. Our normal vet never has immediate availability, and it was really crucial that we got her in as soon as we could. After some quick research, I learned that Summer Street is typically great about getting cats in for emergency visits. I called Friday morning around 9 and they let me know they could see her at 11. When I got her there, they were genuinely concerned about her illness and they were so gentle and caring towards her. Dr. Ryndak was excellent in going over all of her findings with me -- including explaining the treatments they gave my cat and how to care for her going forward. Thankfully, my cat has bounced back and she's feeling much better because of the staff at Summer Street. She is officially an established patient here and I wouldn't want to take her anywhere else!

Probably not, but I wouldn't trust my animals with anyone else. We have received excellent care over the years from the front desk, vet techs and veterinarians. Dr. Stevens and Dr. Nellis are truly first class and have been with this practice since we started going there. I would recommend them to anyone and know several people who exclusively request Dr. Nellis for all of their appointments. Appointments are easy to make over the phone and they have an app which tracks when my pets are due for visits and vaccines which is very handy. The office is always clean and while the parking lot is small, I've never had an issue getting a spot. Overall, this is a wonderful practice.

But Dr. Latson chose to continue the practice. Now that I am running a senior dog sanctuary, I bring all of our pups to CPAH when they have enough appointments for me.
