Just opened in Colony Square Mall Food Court is Jamie's Steaks. They sell 10" subs in either steak,…read morechicken or tofu with optional side of tater tots. Menu is limited but freshly made and with their own twist. Jamie's steak sub is a traditional steak sub with their own special mayo blend and seasonings on a soft (untoasted) bun. They also have a Japanese teriyaki saki sub made with real saki and a whisky bacon sub. Place looks wonderful and cooked to order so don't expect to get it in a rush. My only complaint is the tots are not hot despite sitting in a warmer. Better to fry them as ordered to be fresh since it takes awhile for the sub to be made. I definitely think people will like this place and their style.

The first thing I got was a milkshake which was the consistency of water- so I gave it back to the girls who were working. She fixed the milkshake but handed me a flurry that was the SAME consistency as the first milkshake! The two workers then went in the back, where I could still see them and were obviously gossiping about us (the costumer). The burger was greyish in color with a few cold pepperoni and the sauce on shredded chicken sandwich had clearly "broken" leaving it with a oily cottage cheese appearance. Nothing but the packaging appeared to be fresh. Most disappointing was the quality of the ice cream. My shake was inedible and the "two scoops" of other dish looked as if a teaspoon was used to portion the serving. Worst of all, my body violently rejected everything shortly after the last time we ate there. Wish them all the best, but it is clear the owner is absent and I will not be returning.

It's a good excuse for me to visit Jazzman's Cafe while I'm there! The coffee drinks that I have ordered (usually just iced coffees, iced lattes, or regular lattes) are always pretty good. I think that they taste way better than Starbucks. I have never ordered any food but I have been in meetings where some of the Genesis employees swear that Jazzman's makes the best tuna salad ever. Guess I'll have to try one of their salads or sandwiches sometime.
