I had one of their savoury crepes as a 'sandwich' (following their recommendations) - chicken Caesar I believe. The chicken was tender and soft, grilled to perfection. Add to that crisp romaine lettuce and creamy dressing wrapped in a soft crepe and I have to admit I think they're on to something! The accompanying latte was delicious probably one of the first I've had where additional sugar was not required. The staff were extremely friendly and kind enough to let me lounge. Price point was reasonable and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who, like me, found themselves in the area looking for somewhere to go.

The plate itself was cheese cake, but in a crepe, I think the cream cheese could have been batched fresh with yogurt for a lighter filling than this premade stuff or fold in some whip cream to lighten it up. And even a fold of strawberry syrup would have made the crepe taste like a strawberry cheese cake crepe. It had fresh strawberries but will honestly give a sour taste. The dessert was glazed with caramel. The washrooms are located in the back but wasn't stocked with hand soap. It's a nice date location but crepes could use enhancement. The veggies were crunchy and fresh. The pork belly was tender and flavourful. I would have put more protein in them, but they satisfied my craving for pork belly baos. If you have been reading my reviews for a bit, you'll know that fries aren't high on my list of sides. I'd rather get onion rings, a side salad, or sweet potato fries. However, I was game getting gravy. The fries taste homemade and weren't oily. You can see bits of potato skin on each fry. The gravy was perfect. It wasn't overly thick. It wasn't thin or salty. This charity that promotes inclusion by creating lasting one-to-one friendships between individuals living with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD and Autism Spectrum Disorder). The owners have an autistic son, so this charity drive was near and dear to them. I ordered a dozen donuts. They were ready for pickup at the end of February. I came here after work. It was easy to speak to a friendly male staffer and tell him my name. He immediately found my order and handed me my donuts. They were Krispy Kreme glaze donuts. You can't just have one. They were so fresh and yummy. Naturally, I looked at the Kawartha Lakes ice cream and sherbet flavours. I decided to get a cup of raspberry sherbet. The cup size was huge! I paid with a debit card. I tapped and was good. I thanked the nice man and headed to my car. I enjoyed my raspberry sherbet. It was delicious and refreshing. Kawartha Lakes does frozen treats right. The people I was with ordered sweet crepes (2 caramel, one nutella, one honey and lemon). For some odd reason, the nutella and one of the caramel had a salty taste to them. It may have been a mistake, but half of the crepes were a sweet and salty blend.
