When you come in,…read moreyour server will prompt you to find a seat (if it's not too busy), or will direct you to a seat. The restaurant is very spacious and comfortable as it's meant for families, friends, late night etc. Their menu offers a good selection of menu items besides crepes, however if you're here for the crepes, they have savory and sweet options! Everything is pretty reasonably priced considering the portion size. On average it takes around 15-20mins to prepare as they are made fresh in the open cooking area. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Crepe ($14) and wow, it was stuffed with meat! I would say it was a nice mountain of meat, without an overwhelming amount of sauce. Everything was cooked just right, and there was a good amount of the ingredients overall. The beef was tender, and the sauce complimented it well (had a bit of spicy kick too). We were very satisfied with our meal (as usual), and will definitely be back again!

The herbs came in the soup already. Green tea matcha crepe with Nutella was decent; it was neither warm nor crispy so it didn't seem fresh. The matcha was in the crepe not on it - it was green on one side & brown on the other. The Nutella was adequate.

Unfortunately I am rating this one stars for a reason. For price point, please review my menu pictures the cafe environment has changed since the last set of reviews. When you order the menu is very detailed but no photo to show size (but that's why we have yelp). When ordered the strawberry cheese cake crepe. I watched the order made. The crepe was undercooked and thick. The undercook was attributed with the thick layer of batter placed down. The cheese cake filling was a cheese cake and sour creme with vanilla and lots of sugar. The plate itself was cheese cake, but in a crepe, I think the cream cheese could have been batched fresh with yogurt for a lighter filling than this premade stuff or fold in some whip cream to lighten it up. And even a fold of strawberry syrup would have made the crepe taste like a strawberry cheese cake crepe. It had fresh strawberries but will honestly give a sour taste. The dessert was glazed with caramel. The washrooms are located in the back but wasn't stocked with hand soap. It's a nice date location but crepes could use enhancement. I dont think I would return for the crepe, maybe will try a coffee drink next time.

(Didn't know this till after I tasted the drink) I asked her why it isn't with the yellow mung beans she insisted this is the drink! There's a clear picture it's yellow mung beans not long rectangular coconut jelly! I had so look forward to coming for crepes and pho, but makes me doubt how authentic their food is if they can't even make the basic che dessert! The Che ba mau was disgustiing! Imagine coconut drink mixed with sour lime jello that's how it tasted! $9 for 2 drink seemed like a good deal but they have no idea how to make drinks!

I have been to this eatery a number of times over the years. It started off being Pho VietStar. The…read moresame owners had CrepeStar two doors down. They ended up buying the business between the two eateries, knocked down a couple of walls, and renamed the place CrepeStar Dessert Cafe and Bistro. This eatery is located at Aurora Shopping Centre. It's a plaza, so the name can be a bit misleading. There is plenty of parking. My orders have mostly been takeout. I came here a lot during the pandemic when you couldn't dine at restaurants. I have ordered a number of items for takeout, including the following: - Pork belly baos (two) that comes with fries - A side order of gravy - Chicken fresh rolls - Spicy grilled shrimp The pork belly baos were yummy! The veggies were crunchy and fresh. The pork belly was tender and flavourful. I would have put more protein in them, but they satisfied my craving for pork belly baos. If you have been reading my reviews for a bit, you'll know that fries aren't high on my list of sides. I'd rather get onion rings, a side salad, or sweet potato fries. However, I was game getting gravy. The fries taste homemade and weren't oily. You can see bits of potato skin on each fry. The gravy was perfect. It wasn't overly thick. It wasn't thin or salty. Just right. I enjoyed this combo. The fresh rolls are huge here! It was smart that they were separated by a banana leaf. The veggies here are amazingly crunchy and tasty. The vermicelli was done right. The chicken was tender and flavourful. Again, I feel that there could be more protein in it. Maybe I'm just a protein hog. The spicy grilled shrimp are yummy. They were plump and flavourful. My food was impeccably packed and tasted so fresh with every bite. I have dined in once. I had ordered grilled pork belly pho (P8). The owners advised that they were short on pork belly. I got steak, too! The pho here was fantastic. The broth was amazing. The pork belly and steak were tender and flavourful. I loved it! It comes in one size -- generous! I recently came here to pick up Krispy Kreme donuts. They were a part of the Best Buddies Prom drive. This charity that promotes inclusion by creating lasting one-to-one friendships between individuals living with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD and Autism Spectrum Disorder). The owners have an autistic son, so this charity drive was near and dear to them. I ordered a dozen donuts. They were ready for pickup at the end of February. I came here after work. It was easy to speak to a friendly male staffer and tell him my name. He immediately found my order and handed me my donuts. They were Krispy Kreme glaze donuts. You can't just have one. They were so fresh and yummy. Naturally, I looked at the Kawartha Lakes ice cream and sherbet flavours. I decided to get a cup of raspberry sherbet. The cup size was huge! I paid with a debit card. I tapped and was good. I thanked the nice man and headed to my car. I enjoyed my raspberry sherbet. It was delicious and refreshing. Kawartha Lakes does frozen treats right. It's a decent Vietnamese place in Aurora for good eats, which has rekindled my fondness for the town. The sherbet was excellent. I need to return and try the crepes next. (128)

The menu displays so many varieties of savoury and sweet crepes which make it hard to choose, decided to go with their dessert crepes. Ordered the Banana Split Crepe served with fresh quality strawberries, banana slices, nutella drizzled with chocolate sauce and a vanilla ice cream on top. Similar to this is the Cheesecake Delight the staff recommended this one taking pride saying as one of their bestseller. Also cut up strawberries, nutella, chocolate fudge with slice of NY cheesecake on top. The portions is good for sharing. I like how the fruits they serve are fresh. A cup of green tea with lemon, ginger and mint helps to balance the sweetness from the cheesecake yes, Its on the sweet side for me, still chilly that night so I paired it with a hot drink. But come the hot weather I'd like to explore more of their cold drinks that looks so inviting and refreshing to enjoy. Staff who's working that night are incredibly attentive, polite and friendly. The interior has dimmed theme decorated with hanging flowers, vines and signs ( thinking it was a Spring theme ). As it is along the main road on Yonge street parking is very limited. But because it is just across to Centerpoint Mall we parked there. It is never too late to have that sweet tooth cravings as they open 5 pm til 1am everyday!
