Personally I've been going to Gulbay every time I'm in the area and though they are an excellent Turkish bakery in the area with great prices, I found Nonna Amina to be even better with exceptional quality and freshness of products. I have tried both a mix of their breads and cookies, and neither have disappointed me! They were all amazing and even if you keep the bread until the next day, it's still just as good and remains fresh. I like the variety offered as well. This is the place I'll stop at whenever I'm in the area. The best! Try it and thank me later.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.
