Matcha smoothie
Cindy D.

Come here after dessert with a group of friends in the evening and it was relatively full. I didn't want to eat so I got a matcha smoothie. I found the drink standard, it was a bit sweeter than I am used to. Service was average, the servers were busy since there were lots of customers. Great place for groups to come for dessert and hang out. I am not a crepe person but my friends got crepes and it looked delicious. Maybe if I do go back, I will try one of their crepes!

This place is jumping! Super busy and great music blaring! Nice selection of desserts with a big emphasis on all things Nutella! Big complaint is the long wait. Otherwise, a nice spot!

We used to love going to this place for very late night dessert, but have not been here since 2019. We decided to stop by with a group, called ahead and were very kindly told that they will place us on the list and table would be ready by the time we get there. It was packed on a Friday night. We were seated with a little bit of wait after arrival. We ordered the seasonal fruit crepe (definitely recommend for a fresher not so decadent dessert) and our friends ordered a crepe with ice cream. The ice cream portion size is very large compared to the crepe. Would recommend if you don't mind waiting for a table and service is on the slower side.

Lots of choice. Crepes, waffles, cakes, ice creams. But a little expensive. And they should crank the heat up in there.

Came to this place for dessert after dinner in Vaughn as it was on the way back home. Mediocre dessert but quite expensive tbh. Service was kinda slow as well. Overall nothing out of the ordinary that would make you want to go back.

Hazelnut Nd chocolate ice cream with waffle

We went to this spin dessert cafe and I don't think we could have been more disappoint from the service to the food. Our waitress came about 25 minutes after we were seated to get us our drink order, then took Another ten minutes to get our sample ice cream brought back to us. The ice cream was partly melted by the time it got to our table, we had samples of hazelnut, white chocolate, chocolate, and coconut. The sample ice creams were nice to have. We were able to make our ice cream selection from the samples. When we decided on the ice cream I asked the server what their most popular dessert was. She listed off the ice creams. So I asked her again, and her response was condescending, and the sound of annoyance was as clear as day. There were two other tables that had seated customers. She was Waiting on three tables total. When I asked again in hopes of a better response, she said " as I've told you before...." with an eye roll. We ordered the white chocolate ice cream with half hazelnut, as you can see in the picture we got chocolate ice cream and hazelnut. Not sure if it was because of genuine disinterest or retribution for asking the same question twice. The waffle itself was bland and pre-made. It was soft, and tasted like baking soda. I would recommend boxed eggs waffles, much more flavourful and comes out crispy on the outside with a soft centre. This dessert was topped with stale hazel nuts that tasted like the left over nuts you would find in the back of your closet two years after a bad spring cleaning of your kitchen... very stale. The restaurant had lots of staff and very few customers... they really need to do better with the service and quality of food. If you really want a dessert at this time maybe do a fast food drive through for some pie and ice cream or sundae... it would be much better than having your taste buds exposed to this terrible waste of calories. Save your pennies, your time, and your waistline.

two plates of food

An exceptional experience from start to finish! Warm ambiance, attentive staff, and desserts that are absolute perfection. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Would highly recommend.

This is the most depressing Spin Dessert Cafe I have been to.. I really want to like this place, but everything just a falling short aside from our lone waiter who was trying really really hard .. I have the So Much To Say ($9.15) Crepe - Hazelnut Creme ice-cream layered with bananas and roasted hazelnuts with hot hazelnut sauce on the side. I have nothing much to say aside from it was OK, I doubt I will order that again. "Freshly Brewed" Free Trade Coffee ($1.95) tasted like it had been brewed a long time ago.. thick and muddy. My Yelp friend ordered the Tip of the Iceberg ($5.75) which is an affogato and seems to be quite delicious. Wifi was not working at all even there was a signal. Service was painfully slow it took more than 10 minute to just get the bill.. Deco is a lot simpler than other locations without that young and hopping energetic vibe, which is OK.. But the view here is just so depressing looking at some dumpsters and dirty parking lot.

I've been here not even five minutes and not impressed. The customer service is just not there. I am waiting for friends but they could ask if I want a drink or water at least !!!! We had reservations and just walked out because they couldn't accommodate us properly because they were worried about fitting other people. We all walked out ! Sometimes the food isn't worth it if the service already leaves a bad taste in your mouth !

Visited spin for the first time on a Friday night around 8:30 the place wasn't too busy but it wasn't empty. They played current pop music and had friendly staff. I thought the menu had a nice selection something for those who like to keep it simple and something for those who like to try something different. I got the sugar sugar crêpe. A crêpe filed with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with brownies and cookie dough bits on the side and chocolate sauce. My mother got the California dream. A crêpe filed with pina colada ice cream white chocolate coconut and white chocolate sauce. Both selections can be served in a crêpe or on a waffle. We both enjoyed our desserts they were delicious and the crepes were perfect not too sweet or saugy. They serve the sauces on the side so you can decide how much you want, which is nice.

Veggie pizza with goat cheese. The toppings are really good but the thin crust was just a bit doughy.

A bit pricey, but I liked the food. The biggest complaint I have is there is no price on the menus for the ice cream. Spoiler alert: it's $5.50 a scoop! Granted, it was a large scoop, but still, that's a lot of green for some cream. I also had the veggie goat cheese pizza, it was pretty good. The crust was thin and a little soft in the middle (a bit like me), but the toppings had a good flavor.

The "Charlie Brown". Peppermint patty ice cream topped with Andes chocolate mints and brownie pieces, hot fudge sauce on the side. So good.
Teresa Y.

Whenever I go to Spin, usually after D&Bs nearby, I choose to get the "Charlie Brown" on a waffle or crepe. Basically my favourite flavour of all time, mint chocolate! Or here, they call it their peppermint patty ice cream with andes chocolate mint swirls and fudge brownie bits along with a side serving of fudge sauce to pour on yourself. Minus one star because its a bit messy here, not enough servers to go around to clean after the tables. Also can be a bit slow on both getting seated and being served... But would recommend when you are looking for late night dessert in this area of Vaughan, especially when you want a deadly sweet decadent one that is similar to Demetres. Also its expensive for just ice cream and waffles, almost $15 after taxes, although the scoop of ice cream is big.

I had never heard of it, but apparently they're an established chain. The store is large, bright and cheery. The smell hooks you immediately. It's basically a gourmet doughnut holes shop, with plenty of fancy coffees and cold beverages to accompany. I wanna say, think Tim's crossed with Starbucks, with the emphasis on the Puffs. The puffs are made to order, with so many flavours to choose from. You can purchase half dozen, dozen, and up, and mix the flavours for each half dozen. We bought a combo box of Oreo and Nutella. You can watch the staff preparing the dough in the kitchen, and while they add your toppings at the counter. Idk if they somehow learned about it being a birthday visit, or this is usual, but we got a baker's dozen. I'll take that puff instead of a cherry on top for sure, because they were delicious. They are on the sweet side. Our drinks were also on the sweet side but delicious. The coffee is freshly ground on order and everything tasted fresh. We both opted for coffee based cold drinks but they have slushees, fruity and I think some tea options. The coffee was nice and strong without tasting bitter. The seating was a little odd, cute little stools in line with the honeycomb decor as opposed to chairs. The space felt really open, like your conversation can be heard all around. It was clean and very spacious. The staff on our visit were great. I would definitely return if it were closer to me, and I will totally check out other locations.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

The espresso here is excellent - well-bodied in flavour, medium roast (I think?), and pairs nicely with the sweetness of the cakes & pastries. There's also a wide selection of small personal cakes to choose from - just make sure you come early since they do sell out! We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

The only fruit they had was mango and strawberries. We opted for a Mango Bingsu, based on the photos displayed and we enjoy the sweetness and softness of mango. The bingsu we received was topped with what can ONLY be described as FROZEN mango and still not yet defrosted. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think that it would be served with frozen mango which is usually used for blending smoothies!! My partner did not want to return the barely edible bingsu. The favourite on the dessert was the single small scoop of green tea ice-cream which formed the "leaf" of the strawberry decoration. I truly do recommend getting your bingsu fix elsewhere. I won't be returning. The store is located in the eatery section of H Mart, with ample parking outside in the plaza.
