I stay here about 7 times a year. I can stay anywhere and most of the time when I travel I stay at Hampton Inn. With that said. I always stay here for the beautiful sunsets, the kind hospitality and ALWAYS the clean fresh rooms. Thank you for always being there & consistently making my stay worth coming back.

Stayed here for our 31st wedding anniversary. This is by far - and I travel allot - one of the nicest motels I've ever stayed at. Our room was immaculate and it seems each has a theme - ours was Africa. Even the paper the directory is printed on matches the room. It's not a big room but had everything you need including two huge chairs and a small desk (the legs need tightening). It is also modern - not run down - the owners pride shows. Also a fridge and micro - even a fly swatter! I understand there is a light breakfast but we didn't check it out. Front desk checkin super fast and friendly - they use "old fashioned" keys. Dog friendly for $20 a night. Our room with taxes was $100. You are close to the outlet mall (sadly many stores closed). McDonald's, Arbys, and a couple bar grills very close. I mention this because some people might be offended (gasp). The room does come with a travelers prayer and "Daily Bread" is on the desk. As a Catholic deacon, I found this refreshing. If you just need a place to hop off I80 or you're around for event, this is the place to stay!

The updates they have started in the hotel are great! We got a very nice updated room and the staff must all be new or new owners? The Lounge had great servers and the lady making breakfast at the lounge the next morning was amazing. The rooms where the clean the hotel over all was clean and the parking lot was cleared from the snow storm. Also they had a movie theater type room set up and had movies playing for the kids! We will be returning! The only down side the lifeguard that day was rude there was no posted signs stating there was a break? He comes marching out no ones allowed in the water until 3 and walks away. Also fast forward and hour late same guy starts testing the hot tub water and then starts dumping chemicals into it as we are all sitting right there.

The outside, surprisingly, was in better shape than the inside. It's dirty and old... the kind of place where you don't want to walk barefoot and you definitely don't want to touch the comforter. Our room had broken outlet covers and broken shower tiles. The water in the shower and toilet were a weird color. Each unit has it's own air conditioner unit. Ours was dripping water constantly. There's an indoor pool that we didn't get to try and a complimentary continental breakfast that was nothing special. The place is two levels with no elevator, so if you stay here hopefully you won't have any heavy luggage to haul up the stairs. It's right off I-80, which was convenient since we only stopped for a night while driving through the state.

At 3pm, still no room.......we had four rooms, but the party had pretty much the entire hotel. At 4pm, still no room....but someone walked in the door at 4:05 and they received a room. At 4:15 again, I went to the front desk. Up to this point "Dave" was helping us. He was busy and an older taller lady with long dark & gray hair "helped" us. This is where it got ugly. The lady was the rudest hotel person I have ever met. I asked for answers to why and when. All she did was give me a nasty smirk and I actually told her to remove that smirk. I asked for the Manager, she said the Manager could not do anything about it. I asked again, within 15 minutes we had the Manager. We explain the guarantee we received when booking the Wedding and that we had a pre-wedding party to get to an an hour. She said they were having staffing issues and our four rooms have not been released yet. I informed her, I went to our rooms and the doors were open. The rooms were clean. She explained they have been inspected as complete yet. I explained to her that people have walked in and received rooms. I explained to her she needs to swap out rooms for people standing in the lobby vs. people who have not arrived. 15 minutes later we had three rooms. While standing with the manager as she clicked on her computer, I heard another guest ask the tall long haired lady, "What is going on?, Why aren't rooms ready" The same rude lady behind the counter which smirked at me...........Told the other guest, "It's none of your business." Wow. I thought her husband was going to jump over the counter at Ms. Tall & Rude. The next day I caught a room cleaner in the hallway and said they did not have to do a complete clean on our room. Just give us towels and coffee. We received NOTHING. Hotel Millwright way over promised and way under delivered. I'm shocked at the lady behind the counter. Dave (behind the counter) was nice.. The Manager did not have her arms around the operation. She made people stand in the lobby for an hour and a half while rooms were available, just not reassigned. Regarding the reception.......the facility was nice. However, certain food items ran out before all guests were fed. The bar was understaffed and the lines were long. Hope this review finds many people and saves you from the Millwright.
