This place used to be good with Dr. Bustos as the primary dentist and Rocio and Kaitlyn as the front desk. However, the staff changed unfortunately and the quality of care dropped immensely. The front desk is rude and Dr. David Rice is not a good dentist at all. I don't know how the reviews are good on google. He could not do a basic simple filling and my tooth in the end looked like it had a split in the middle. You can see where he did the filling and my tooth appeared like it had a bump on one side and uneven on the other side. I paid for a four surface filling and received a lazy and juvenile attempt at a filing. Someone in dental school would have performed a better filling. I went to a different dentist to fix the problem because if he was not able to notice the problem in the first place, he would not be capable of fixing it. Such a shame. The worst !!! I took my kid to have a regular cleaning covered by my insurance,he is 21 years old and when he was inside with the doctor, they convinced him to sign and pay for a deep cleaning. I was sitting at the reception waiting for him!! Be careful Moms!!!!! And I ask him what was the difference between that cleaning and the one he has every six months, he told me it was the same. The only nice thing about this place is the location. My teeth are pretty much more messed up than when I started coming here. I have way more sensitivity and pain, which I keep coming back to have them fix. I've taken so much sick days and time off to come back, for them and fix it. They never even fix it and just make it worst. The other part is that they are charging premiums on their services and expecting you to pay them with no questions. I guess cause of their location? Idk. When you do ask the question, they can't even answer it properly or make the charges make sense. You don't get an itemized receipt on your way out like other dental practices do. My experience with Cresta Bella Dental and Braces was nothing more than disastrous. Let me start first with just the appointment itself. My appt was on a Friday at 11:20. I get a call from the front desk asking me to move my appointment from 12:00pm to 11:00. They admitted they made a mistake. First they have you prepay for the cleaning. The hygienist starts her process and probes my gums to test the depth which is called out to the assistant to document. I had a few deep pockets which I was aware of. However, after she finishes she tells the assistant she is going to probe them again. Now, the pockets are suddenly deeper. That was a red flag that stayed on my mind however, I temporarily blew it off. She then goes into detail to tell me that I need a root and scaling cleaning on ALL of my teeth and that this would have to be done every 4 months. (Sure. no problem). I then asked if I was going to have it done that day and she stated she could do half of my mouth that day. So, she leaves the room and waited for 15-20 minutes and ...she never comes back. The front desk comes and gets me and tells me that they were ready to check me out. I was confused. I sat and waited to get my estimate since I didn't get it done, thankfully! The estimate included gave me was$2000 for the cleaning and $5000.00 for the 2 crowns! I was floored, $2000.00 every 4 months for cleaning? I wasn't happy that I prepaid for a cleaning that didn't happen and the ridiculous estimate that would cover the cost of a used car. Therefore, I researched a different dentist made an appt. to see and requested a copy of x-rays from Cresta Bella. I had to call them 4 times to get them but finally got them sent to my email the day of my appt. The new dentist opens up x-rays on the big screen and voila, there is some one else's x-rays on the screen! They sent over another patients x-rays which technically is a HIPAA violation which is concerning in itself. Once again, I had to call Cresta Bella to get my x-rays for the 5th time! The new exam with the new dentist resulted in different results. Turns out I only needed root and scaling on 3 teeth with regular cleaning on the rest. My estimated cost for the new dentist was only $3100 for the root and scaling cleaning and one crown. Also, the $342 that I prepaid for my cleaning that I never received, I only got $32 back. I canceled my Moms cleaning and moved her over to the new dentist. If you choose to go here make sure you pay close attention to detail and go with your gut! read more

Ongoing Painful Experience: I have had pain for over three (3) weeks, and it is getting worse. Call Cresta Bella and was told my VA authorization was pending. I gave them a phone and told them to contact the VA. I did. VA informed me my crowns were pending; however, it was okay to be seen by the Cresta Bella. I later received a notice from Crest Bella asking me to make an appointment. I called the office, only to be told the message was in error. I would need to call the VA again. I called the VA and was told to have Crest Bella contact them to resolve the issue. Once again, I called Cresta Bella and was told a Coordinator would call me. I called a few days later, asked to speak to a supervisor, and was given a name. I was told this person would call me very soon. Again, several days later, there was no telephone call. I am managing my pain level with over-the-counter pain medication. Unable to get Cresta Bella to communicate with the VA to resolve the situation. Just an awful experience. read more

This dental practice is beyond amazing! I have a family of 6 and my kids have had bad experiences in the past at our previous dentists. This place has been a game changer. Everyone from the front office, to the hygienist and to the Doctor have been soooo wonderful with my entire family. The office is beautiful, the staff is SUPER friendly and "chill" and everyone is so patient and kind. Every treatment has been gentle and they do a great job at communicating whats going on throughout the treatment. This is super important to my whole family. I have never had such a great experience before coming to the dentist. I love this practice. I HIGHLY recommend Cresta Bella Dental... especially so if you suffer from dental anxiety. Cresta Bella is the sister location of Huebner Smiles where I first started seeing Dr. Bustos. I've been seeing her for some years now and she is so pleasant to work with and very gentle. Over $2,000 for a crown lost. Initially crown failed due and came to this practice for treatment from the previous owner being Dr Brittnay Grady. Her care and compassion was excellent and she is a great dentist- however since selling her practice I now have no one to turn to for my twice failed crown. The crown wasn't covered by insurance because it failed in less than 5 years- the prior dentist at Monarch @ stone oak did a very poor job. I found the prior dentist at a new practice, that new practice stated I "belonged" to the prior practice. When I contacted the practice, they said I was a new patient and I'd be charged as a new patient and all my info was removed and they do not hold a record of me. This isn't true as they did keep my information to solicit their services via mailers. While everyone mentioned is kind, I am writing my experience and plea for others to be WARNED of each practice. When installing such expensive dental remodeling- ask what will happen if the practice is sold. My face is currently swollen, very painful and I suspect it is indeed infected. My fear is the infection findings its way to my heart leading to vegetation and death. I am leaving a similar review at the new practice the prior owner joined so that everyone may be warned before entrusting their lives to a provider. The other practice is Culebra Smiles. Others have a right to shop around for dental care. Ive since started consulting to find someone to replace my failing and infected crown/ swollen face. Dr. Gardy literally saved my life!! I had severe pain and given covid-19, I could not find anything open. My kids go to her and we have always had an EXCEPTIONAL experience so I thought I would reach out. I would recommend looking else for a dentist. In the middle of a surgical procedure she left me, mouth open, teeth drilled open, and went to talk with a patient for their first appointment. She left me that way for at least 10 minutes, completely unattended. Fast forward to the days after my procedure and I'm having pain and extreme sensitivity in my teeth on the side she was operating on. I returned several times complaining of the sensitivity as well as the fact that she made the contacts between my teeth so tight it was causing me pain and difficulty flossing. She explained that during procedures they constantly irrigate the area with water as the nerve can become irritated and damaged if it becomes dry, yet she was totally fine to leave me for an extended period of time with no irrigation and an open tooth but acted surprised when I had issues after her work. She also insinuated the issue with the contacts being tight and causing me a sensation of pulling on my tooth during flossing was incorrect or imagined. She did almost nothing to remedy the sensitivity to temperature, food texture, and even extreme taste other than to suggest a toothpaste and told me I'd need a root canal if it persists. On a tooth that had ZERO issues or pain prior to her work. Don't waste your time, money, or the health of your teeth on this woman. read more

I'm new to this office and am very pleased with my experience. The whole staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Dr. Grady spent quality time with me in first appointment and made me feel very comfortable. She went over my xrays in detail and her recommended treatment plan. I went back 2 days later for a minor filling and again everything was great. I'm generally nervous about ant type of dental work beyond a cleaning so appreciated the comforting staff and atmosphere. This is my second try at finding a new dentist in the area but my search has ended. I was a patient at my previous office for years but I felt like they got to big/ busy for me.
