It offers plenty of parking and with two entrances to the front and the back fields. There are also shaded structures in between the fields fitted with spray nozzles for those hot California summers. It doesn't have any seating, so bringing your own chair is a must. While the faculty offers plenty of parking, it only offers one way in and one way out to the major road. During the practice sessions and games, the traffic is pretty bad. It's not uncommon to wait around 10-15 minutes to get out of the parking lot to Westbrook Blvd. The facility also offers a really nice playground for the younger kids and has plenty of swings and other kid activities built in. Firestone Park on a food truck night is peak suburban joy. We've come here several times during the spring and summer for their weekly food truck nights, and it's become a highlight of the week. The park is wide open and well-kept, with tons of space for kids to run around while the adults relax and debate whether to get tacos or go straight for dessert. (Spoiler: it's both.) The vibe is incredibly family-friendly--blankets, lawn chairs, chalk art, all of it. There's usually a solid mix of food trucks during the spring and summer months, and even when it's busy, it never feels overcrowded. We come here regularly, and that's a big part of why. No chaos, no drama--just good food, space to breathe, and enough room for kids to burn off 94% of their sugar high before bedtime. Strong strategy, honestly. On top of that, they also host movie nights in the park, which are basically the perfect way to end a warm evening. It's small-town magic in the best way possible: families on blankets, lawn chairs everywhere, popcorn, blankets, glow sticks--it's the kind of evening that quietly restores your faith in humanity. Five stars for giving families a reason to come together, eat too much, and call it a night well spent.

This park had multiple play grounds with a large covered structure that had plenty of tables, a couple bbqs and trash cans making it perfect for kids birthday parties! (As long as you reserve the shade as it can get very hot in summer days without shade) Large flat grass areas as well as a baseball diamond, basketball hoop, volleyball net, water fountains and restrooms. Parking was easy right in front even with a birthday party happening. Great neighborhood park for many purposes.

This is a neighborhood park...The pro's: a nice, real grass soccer field, two sand volleyball…read morecourts, a couple other pits for something that I don't know, two covered picnic areas, bbq's, a couple of play structures...one for smaller children and one for older children. The cons: No shade anywhere except for the covered picnic areas, no parking lot and no parking on the main road in front of it, you have to park on side streets, and only 2 single seater bathrooms! I am sure it is a very nice park for people that live around it, but for hosting a soccer game or had the volleyball courts been full...it would definitely be maxed out! As it was...there was a large bday party going on for a child, and they brought in a bounce house...and lucky us...the folks at the soccer field...that is where they placed the generator for the bounce house...needless to say it was a bit loud next to us. But clearly that is not the parks fault...so that wasn't factored into the star count...the lack of shade and facilities is what brings the average rating!!
