Dave drove past it due to all the tall trees outside and the growth of Madison in general. They have implemented a new automated check in system upon entering. Each person coming inside is screened and has to give their license and reason for why they are at the hospital. I realize this would upset some people but it's a procedure that must be followed. The same procedure exists at Huntsville Hospital. Check in the last time I was at HH in August 2024 was not automated. I went to the second floor to check in for cataract removal and lens implant surgery. Check in was smooth and quick. I was taken back to a prep for surgery room but there was no bed. I arrived 15 minutes early for my arrival time. The hospital has 5 eye surgery beds and I had to wait for one to be available. My nurse, Christine, is excellent. She made my stay there as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend her. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Campbell, is excellent. I highly recommend him. He too, made my stay there as comfortable as possible. My surgeon, Dr. Foster, is excellent. I highly recommend him. The staff on the second floor for eye surgery are all excellent. All of them did their best to make sure I was taken care of. I know they did the same for other patients as I could hear their communications. I highly recommend Madison Hospital if you have to have eye surgery. The staff are kind and respectful and my experience there was 5/5!!!

If you're looking for a clinic that can treat you but excels in ignoring your secondary insurance requirements and botching even the simplest instructions directly given to them by the insurer, look no further. This is the place for you! It's honestly impressive how determined they are to not follow directions. I watched in awe as my secondary insurer, a living, breathing human being, literally spoke to them on the phone and explained exactly what was needed. Like, step-by-step, as if talking to a toddler with a billing system. Did that help? Of course not! Why let clear communication ruin a good disaster? Instead, American Family Care billing department decided to go rogue. They billed incorrectly (again), sent the wrong billing codes (bravo), and then didn't even provide the additional information requested by the secondary insurer. And don't worry, if you're hoping for updates or resolution, just sit back and wait forever. Their follow-up skills are so advanced, they've transcended the concept of time entirely. Emails? Vanished. Callbacks? Hilarious. Accountability? nah...But wait, it gets better. Ever try to email them? Or send a letter? You might as well attach your message to a balloon and hope it floats into the right office. Responses are rarer than a solar eclipse. Apparently, their inbox is a black hole where accountability goes to die. And their physical mail? Probably stacked under someone's lunch leftovers. If you enjoy endless phone calls, re-explaining the same thing fifteen times, and playing detective just to get your bills corrected for care you already paid for with the primary insurance congratulations! You've found your happy place. In short: great place if you want to feel like you're participating in a billing scavenger hunt with no prize at the end. But you will get treated. Avoid unless you're trying to test your patience and sanity or writing a thesis on bureaucratic failure. A few weeks pass and no real relief. I had to go back to TOC. The pain was unbearable so I had to get fluid drained, twice. The local anesthetic was a minor poke. The harpoon used to drain fluid, that bad boy hurt. I can't imagine the pain without the local anesthetic. Two large tubes of fluid were removed, twice. I have gone 2 weeks in a row to get the fluid drained from my knee cap. Many thanks to Tom, Dr. Park's PA! I had an MRI. Dr. Parks told me I need a total knee replacement. I have the surgery scheduled late June. The schedule is full. The waiting room for people with knee problems is full all day. It doesn't matter if you have a morning or afternoon appointment. Thankfully Dr. Park's staff is efficient and they get patients in and out quickly. While I do not look forward to surgery, I know that surgery will allow me to get around better and improve quality of life. Many thanks to Dr. Park's and his staff. 5/5

I went in to this location today as a new patient. Checking in was easy as I completed everything…read moreonline through their patient portal. The portal was easy to navigate and saved me time. I was there to see Dr. Sabatini for a 930 appointment. I made it to the back at about 10, but didn't mind the wait too much. The waiting area is comfortable and clean. After going back, they x-rayed my ankle. The X-ray tech was friendly, so taking the pics went pretty smoothly. Next I met Ryan, who is Dr Sabatini's assistant. She was extremely nice and easy to talk with. She came across as genuinely concerned and wanted to help relieve my pain. She diagnosed my issue via the X-rays. Ryan, then consulted with Dr Sabatini, who came in and examined me and confirmed Ryan's diagnosis. (Bone spurs/flat feet) Dr Sabatini was very attentive and I never once felt rushed. He gave me some recommendations on how do deal with my issues. He suggested I get a steroid shot in my ankle to ensure the bones spurs were the reason for my pain. If the shot worked, then surgically removing the spurs would work. Dr Sabatini administered the shot. He carefully marked a spot for the injection, then sprayed a freezing compound on my ankle. The steroids were administered all along the bone spur location. My ankle was feeling better before I got to my car. Now I have to follow up with Dr Sabatini in about 6 weeks. I certainly think he is a great doctor and am looking forward to seeing how long the shot gives me comfort and to visit the office again.

I think she was previously an emergency room doctor at Huntsville Hospital. There are a couple of newspaper articles, framed on the waiting room wall, which tell her story. They do not accept checks, but accept most insurances and credit cards.

The receptionist at the front desk was visibly irritated and informed him that they were not taking walk-ins tonight. There were two other families in the waiting room at that time, with one hour before closing. While my husband and son packed up to leave the clinic without being seen, I called the Huntsville location at 7:03. The receptionist was very pleasant, and confirmed that they were indeed still taking walk in patients. Ultimately, I opted to seek care in the Huntsville location tomorrow due to the amount of time it would take to travel between the two locations. I wish I could comment on the quality of care in Madison, but unfortunately the office experience didn't allow for that today. I understand how busy clinics can be, especially during the winter months; however, it is very frustrating to be turned away when the website clearly states that walk-ins are welcome.
