The Whole Foods Market is definitely a huge treat for me to walk around then hit it last to find something to cook or snack or enjoy their most tastefully and expertly decorated baked items along with lots of breads to choose from. So Derby Street Shops is like a one stop shopping place. I like that and go home with everything I needed and wanted.

You saw funds drop into your consignor account after selling something? Great . . oh, but you might see the very same item on their in-house online selling account, and at a higher price than your item was "sold" for. No point in asking what's going on, because there are no answers, just deflection, deflection. When you finally give up on consigning, as I did, and ask very politely for the funds from your last sale, expect to receive nothing. Because "you don't have enough in your account so you'll have to ask the owner". Ask the owner for the funds from my own consigned items, but "it's unlikely he'll make an exception"? It's an interesting business model, I grant you that! For me, another hard lesson learned! If you're shopping for bargains, it will only benefit you. If you want to turn over a few of your nice things- nope!

I don't go to Kohl's often, mostly because this one is the closest one & is still pretty out of the way to get to, but definitely a very nolstalgic one-stop-shop department store vibe, which I am all for! The deals are not as good as I remember them being back in the day BUT I was able to find some cute Lunar New Year Hello Kitties! One represents the year of the rabbit & the other, represents the year of the horse. At check out, both ended up being marked down even more than I expected ($17 instead of $25), though for some reason, one of them ended up costing more than the other? Both tags showed they were valued at the same prices, including the sale sticker price after 30%... but the additional discount was not the same for both strangely. Oh well. Still got both of them ;)

Kohls always has deals, not as good as before as prices on everything has climbed…read more They are a larger department store and have a bit of everything from dress to casual then sport clothing. They also have licensed sports gear, Nike, adidas, underarmour etc. Kohls here has a huge Sephora in-store location as well which i didn't expect as the other one i go to does not have a huge one like this. We got called for our dinner res so our visit was short. Will be back when in the area!

They have everything from clothing to beauty supplies, accessories, linens and more. The employees are always friendly and they always smile and greet you as you enter. All of the items are always neatly organized either on shelving or clothing racks. The dressing rooms are always well kept up without any excess clothing thrown about. The prices are great and you can get a good bang for your buck here.

I am surprised by the low ratings for this J. Crew although many of the reviews are from years ago…read moreand they seem to have to do with poor customer service which was not my recent experience. Whenever I have stopped in, (which admittedly is not often), there is almost always someone who greets me fairly quickly and lets me know they are available to assist. On this latest visit I did have a question or two about a blazer I was looking at. The saleswoman was at the ready and was quite helpful. She let me know that even though the blazer was on sale already there was an additional 40% off. It was pricey to begin with but with both a sale price and the additional percentage off it became hard to resist...so I bought it. (I have been updating my seasonal blazer wardrobe over the past several months as I find blazers are often a great way to elevate an outfit and pull everything together.) I was also able to find a pretty gold belt. Alas, the belt was not on sale, and priced higher than I think it should have been but I think I will get a lot of use out of it so I purchased it. When I checked out the cashier was very helpful. She made sure to remind me that the blazer was now a "final sale" and I was in and out in no time flat. Pleasant and easy shopping.
