Crews Lake Wilderness Park has beautiful and well maintained grounds. No fee to enter like some other wilderness parks. I attended a wedding here and it was a peaceful and serene experience. There is a boardwalk and pavilions for events. The restrooms were also nice and clean. Actually better than some restaurants. read more

I really love this park! I saw the signs for it & just decided to check it out as I love to visit the Nature parks. This park is exceptionally beautiful. It has an old vintage Florida feel with gorgeous old moss covered trees, kids play areas, an old vintage railroad, tons of biking & walking/hiking trails & a giant Lilly covered pond/lake. I had such a great time the first time I went. There was wildlife everywhere & I got to video some very friendly birds. I went back again & it was even more beautiful the second time, than the first time as it had just rained & all the flowers were blooming. They have a little garden there. It's just so precious. This place is so very beautiful. I keep finding all these different trails, they are obviously working on it & making it bigger with more trails. It's a very peaceful place, Like a forgotten tropical wilderness stuck in time. I have not seen more than 5 people here at once. I love all the Nature Parks for hiking but I have to admit. This one is very special & very unique. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended. read more

Winter 2026 crazy time to be at this nicely featured park. Lake levels not just low but water is totally gone. Only wet spot at low point by pier to watch feeding sand cranes and other birds. Small pond at south end beyond boat ramp holds tight crowd of gators. Park has beautiful pavilions, cool viewing tower and awesome play equipment area. Lots of rustic camping sites but cannot recommend for hardcore hikers. Trails are short since main feature here is the lake. Fully recommended for uniqueness and nicely assembled socials areas. read more

I can't remember the last time I was here, it must have been some 20 years ago, but the park has changed some what, and so much for the better. I was there with my guys and we walked and rocked the paths, hopefully leaving smiles behind. The trails are nicely defined, and the old growth trees are beautiful to walk beneath, it helps to keep it cool in the heat of a Florida summer. The pier used to go out to the depths of the water, but currently we're in a drought, so the table is low, the shoreline has receeded, letting the flora and fauna thrive. My department went here for a company picnic. I had never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! There are several picnic shelters and two big pavilions. Our group reserved one of the pavilions, which face the water. There are paved and unpaved trails for walking and/or bike riding. Apparently there is a replica train people can ride as well as a campground. I didn't venture over to those areas. The bathroom was clean and there are plenty of trees to shade the picnic areas. I would like to go back another time to check out more trails and the rest of the park. read more

It's open to the public seven days weekly from DAWN (7 AM) to DUSK (6:30 PM - 8 PM). This is a gift! One I wish to share... Here's what this GORGEOUS Pasco County park offers: An observation tower, a bird house, a paved bike trail, 2.5 miles of easy nature/hiking trails (woods & lakeshore), a botanical garden (bees & butterflies), a tower, an outdoor amphitheater, garden pond/gazebo, primitive camping (9 sites), primitive group camping/log cabin (1 site), shelters (4), pavilions (2), clean restrooms, a boardwalk, a fishing pier/dock, a horseshoe pit, a picnic area, a boat ramp, canoe access, a large playground w/ a basketball court an athlete field for softball & baseball, & a volleyball court. The trails offer a variety of nature habitats: "Sandhills, scrubby flatwoods, cypress domes, oak hammocks, & the shore of Crews Lake." Leashed dogs are allowed. Alcoholic beverages & skateboards are not. Suncoast Trail is located closeby "and can be accessed via public roads & sidewalks." Finally made our way here and so glad we did! It's such a cute little park. Playground for the kids and lots of walking paths. They also have easy to get to bathrooms which as a parent is a necessity. We will definitely be back! read more

I decided to check this park out based off of the few reviews that it has, and I'm definitely glad that I did. I came alone and was able to walk freely and unbothered through a good portion of the property. There are tons of trees which provide ample shade and help create an ideal environment for a walk about nature. I had my camera on me and was able to get some quality birding in as well. I'd recommend this spot to anyone that enjoys nature and all of its splendor. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This park is really a treat! Has beautiful hiking trails and wonderful camping areas. Numerous picnic areas and shelters are available and the entire park is maintained to the highest standards. This park is the first love of my dog Neala and she is happiest when being walked on one of the wonderful trails and admiring the extensive squirrel population. Very nice park, paths and wilderness area. Very big with boat launch, pier, shelters and rest rooms. Extremely peaceful and beautiful. Have seen BBQ' s and Weddings take place here. I believe you can bring your pet but check first before bringing Rover. Most of it is very rustic, so bring your hiking boots. Go and enjoy the scenery. read more

Crews Lake Park has a wonderful playground and field. The best feature for the little ones is a small train that runs the first Saturday of every month. It costs $1.00 per person. This train runs through the forest at clip safe for the little ones but not boring for the adults. During the holidays they decorate the trees and open areas to celebrate. However the price increases for the rides at these times. For Easter they hide eggs for kids under 10. They put sickers, tops, and other trinkets in the eggs. For the older set they have paths throught the woods to explore, bird, hike, ect. The have a lookout post so vistors can see over the lake. The lake is quite pretty with birds and some alligators. The forest has lots of shade which makes it bareable during the summer. Quite a nice place to relax and spend 1/2 a day if you feel so inclined. read more
