This is completely unacceptable. It's not your decision whether something is "worth fixing"--your job is to either repair it or return it exactly as it was given. What I received back was careless, incomplete, and honestly a mess. I ended up ordering the parts myself to try to fix it, and that's when I saw just how poorly it had been handled. This level of negligence is beyond disappointing. I would not trust them with any device.

To my surprise and disappointment, the Apple Store was no longer stocking either for my model, an Xs Max. Immediately outside the store was a kiosk selling all sorts of accessories for numerous brands of mobile phones. While I was looking for a black or gray phone case, which they did not have, I settled for a blue one. The rep, whose name was Chilli, expertly removed my damaged screen protector, cleaned the screen, and placed a tempered glass protector. He did the same for the case protector. I was done in less than 5 minutes, mission accomplished. Highly recommend this as an alternative to Apple Store for your Apple compatible accessories.

There really isn't that many places that repair computer these days so I was a little hesitant that they could even do the job honestly. But I stopped in the other days and things started well. It wasn't too busy. Once it was my turn at the counter the nice fella there explained that the diagnostic would cost I think 85 bucks or so and that if a service is performed that would be taken off the total at the end. That's the part that I could feel would be a test of trust. I gave us my computer putting my faith I would get it back better or at least without its memory wiped. they called the next day and said the hard drive wasn't really repairable and that they could put in a new solid-state. They said they would do their best to transfer all data. Cut to 3 days later. Computer was back to fast,, tons of memory and everything was transferred. Amazing. In NYC there is a saying "People don't wait in line unless it's worth it". This place was worth it. He took my phone told me come back in 30-40 minutes so I walked around Atlantic ave and checked out some of the local shops. When I came back he had opened my phone and reconnected the battery and didn't want any money ( of course I paid him). NO advertising and NO big rent = a great price from a super nice guy!
