It is the most basic things that matter in retail, and when your employees won't even acknowledge an in-person request, it makes the entire company look inept and weak. My request was simple: a warranty replacement for a Zagg screen protector, a product and service I had previously purchased. The last time I needed this service, I went to the mobile department, and it was fast, easy, and seamless. This time, the experience was a complete, hostile disaster. The mobile department was unstaffed. I asked several employees who were standing nearby for help and got nothing but blank stares or swift dismissals. The "greeter" at the front door was equally useless, looking at me as if I was asking them to donate a kidney. I finally learned I needed to go to Geek Squad. When I was eventually helped, the agent acted as if merely talking to me was a huge favor. He put in minimal effort to look up the original purchase, promptly telling me the item wasn't in my account and that I must have gotten it elsewhere. I pulled out my phone, easily found the original purchase online, and showed it to him. He shifted his tactic, condescendingly stated the phone was "too old," claimed they no longer carried the product, and told me to call Zagg myself--and that was the end of his assistance. He was rude, dismissive, arrogant, and had zero professionalism. It is literally as if the staff went out of their way to be rude and unhelpful. Best Buy Cumming must be doing fantastically well, because they certainly don't act like they need or want customers. I don't know who the current manager is, but once upon a time, Best Buy had excellent service. This was a hugely frustrating and disappointing experience. I received zero help on a warranty service I was owed, and it was such a simple, little thing. As I said, if they can't do the basics well, why trust them with the big stuff?

I returned with her and after an hour of waiting the mechanic then told us that we have the wrong part ordered. He said it was due to her car being the last year of it being the generation of that model it wasn't updated in their systems. Again this is her 2nd time here and she has to come for a 3rd time simply for a speaker installation. Thank you for saving us so much time!

I left without the MacBook after an hour or so because there was no direct support from the staff. The genius bar was basically a couple of apple store employees trying to assist well over a dozen people; rotating between them. There was certainly no one on one support but for maybe 30 seconds at a time. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or I was led to believe there would be a short 'sit down' with someone to help me log in and familiarize myself with the product. The MacBook was almost $2k plus monthly subscriptions. I had a terrible experience. It really is disappointing because I still need a new laptop and was absolutely looking forward to this new MacBook. Shame on them for providing the exact opposite experience that many others enjoyed. They even stated that my 14 day return window started the day I placed the order and already had 13 days on the clock, so 1 day to evaluate. I would have left with the MacBook and tried to book an online session or returned to the store again with a 2nd appointment to get setup assistance but the team lead said he could extend that window but could not offer anything written, only a verbal 'I got you'. An older bearded guy, who I have never seen before, opened the door and said that they don't do retail in person anymore. I asked if I could see the products in person. He said that they don't have anything in the showroom. He was very quick and terse. There used to be a lady, who was very professional, and customer service oriented that ran this place. Unsure if this place is under new management or if she was still there. The vibe is very different from my past experience. I felt like he felt like I was inconveniencing him. I came to look at the iMac 27" Quad Core i7 that was advertised on eBay, and to ask if they sold a 16Gb Ram kit for it. Love PeachMac! I went in when my iphone 4S quit sending and receiving text messages as well as battery issues (charging 5-6 times per day). The first associate tried to fix the problem and when he wasn't able to do so, he directed me to the service station. The next person I encountered went over the issues with me again and begin trying to troubleshoot. When those things didn't work, he had me speak with a service person who also tried to troubleshoot the problem. After some time working with my phone, he decided to go ahead and replace it. Gotta love having Apple Care Plus as well!!! I chose to go to PeachMac because I had already dealt with the Apple store and they were no help at all and they made me feel like I was wasting their time. I will continue to use and recommend PeachMac to anyone that I know. read more

Thorough, professional, reasonably priced. I couldn't disagree more with the previous review. I know from many years of dealing with computers in their various and sundry forms that 'stuff happens'... Repairs are done, bench tested and sent out of the shop... and something else fails. I never blame the auto mechanic when my car breaks either. These guys called me and emailed me, told me what they knew, and followed thru. If you have a Mac, and it's not the type of repair the Apple Store itself is going to do, then you want a certified repair center. The service was great - my 6 month old iphone took a ride down a waterfall & because it's a corporate phone, there was no insurance. Peach Mac was able to get me a replacement phone for $199 ~ exactly what Apple would charge but without the wait or making an appointment. Brett was great and so was everyone else. I was able to walk in, get all the options and resolve my issue all without a trip to the mall or dealing with the chaos of an apple store. Apple gave me their # to call as an Apple certified repair store and they had no parts for my MAC and they said I had to go elsewhere because they were not able to get parts for vintage Macs which was only 8 years old!
