My $300+ investment resulted in multiple repair failures, HOURS of wasted time, and incredibly shady business practices. I deeply regret not taking my phone to a reputable shop. Here is exactly what you can expect if you leave your device in their hands: Endless Failed Repairs: I paid $300+ upfront for a screen replacement. What followed was an absolute nightmare--three separate trips back to the store over three days because their work kept failing. First, the new screen began physically lifting off the phone. Then, the screen went completely unresponsive (I couldn't unlock my phone, answer calls, or use it at all). Wasted Time: On my third visit to fix *their* mistakes, I was left waiting for THREE HOURS! Gaslighting & Zero Accountability: After they replaced the screen *again*, a brand-new issue appeared: my front camera was extremely blurry. It worked perfectly before they touched it. Rather than taking responsibility for damaging my hardware, they completely dismissed me and claimed I "must have changed a setting myself." Shady Business Practices: When I finally asked for a refund for this disaster, I was told I could only get my money back if they glued my *original shattered screen* (from three days ago) back onto my phone. To make matters worse, they told me: "The POS system can't process full refunds." That explanation is blatantly misleading, makes zero logistical sense, and felt like an intentional trap to take advantage of customers. As a customer, I remained patient and respectful through every single visit. I just wanted the working phone I paid for. Instead, I left feeling dismissed, blamed for problems their technician created, and stuck dealing with hardware issues that only appeared after they opened my device. Save your $300, save your time, and save your sanity. Do NOT bring your devices here.

Before I started coming to this store location (inside the Jacksonville, NC mall), I dreaded seeing any local AT&T customer service reps in person. The wait was always TERRIBLE, and the other local stores refused to set an appt over the phone; they told my husband and I we can only make an appt through the app and it didn't always work so we would have to wait LONGER to see a rep because we would have to physically make an appt in store. As a result, I began to call AT&T customer service reps rather than go in person (and their call center customer service can be dreadful, too). It's not a good sign when your customers avoid having to deal with your company if possible, and that's the road we were slowly going down with AT&T... My husband and I were going to merge phone plans to save money, so we reluctantly went to the local store closest to our home to discuss pricing and do it in-store. We were so frustrated we walked out within 3 minutes. Desperate, we then went to the Jacksonville, NC mall location and have never had a better experience! The staff was SO helpful and friendly. Not only did we receive the help we needed, we ended up getting a DIRECTV package and preordering 2 iPhone X's as well. One staff member in particular, the manager Curtis Swenson, made us feel like we are more than just money in AT&T's pocket. I have never experienced such excellent customer service from any cell phone/cable provider rep that I have ever been with previously (we have been with Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile). Since then, if my husband and I have had any questions or problems, Curtis has not only remained patient and polite amidst our frustrations and complaints, but also fixed them in a timely manner and empathized with us over things that weren't even his fault (AT&T dropped the ball when iPhone X preorders came through and promised many customers that the phone would be here long before it actually arrived). The other store staff are amazing, too. We highly recommend Curtis Swenson and all of the other AT&T staff members inside the Jacksonville, NC mall. And as to the negative reviews before this one, I can vouch from our MULTIPLE interactions with these staff members that if you have a concern and bring it to them, they will do whatever they can to fix it. Fees that are tacked onto your bill aren't always within the employee's control, and any modifications made to lower your bill don't update on the website for a little while. Just talk to them about it!

    I was sent to this CPR location by Assurant/Spectrum Mobile Protection for a screen repair on my…read moreiPhone 16 Pro Max. The phone was fully functional prior to service. Within two days, the OEM replacement screen failed. I returned on Christmas Eve and was told it was a possible Apple defect. An aftermarket screen was installed as a temporary solution, and that screen failed within a day as well. Before the second screen was installed, a CPR technician opened the phone and confirmed there was no water damage at that time. The technician who performed the initial screen repair was not present during this inspection. After these repeated failures, the phone later showed visible moisture around the Face ID/front camera area, which was never present prior to CPR's repairs. The technician who performed the initial repair then gave contradictory explanations, first claiming the phone had water damage earlier, then admitting that was incorrect, and later claiming it "now" has water damage. When I requested a manager or owner's contact information to resolve the issue, I was refused and told to "leave a Google review." The technician escalated the situation by raising his voice and acting unprofessionally. Due to multiple failed authorized repairs, I was forced to file a second insurance claim, pay a higher deductible, and pay extra for Saturday delivery because I run multiple businesses and rely on this device. What should have been a simple screen repair became a costly replacement caused by failed repairs and lack of accountability.
