This review is overdue but necessary…read more In June, I got a call from this store. I live in europe and I am not a t-mobile client, so I was confused. They were calling because a cell phone had been found in their lot and turned in my a good Samaritan. I was the phones emergency contact. Turned out my mom dropped her phone the night before! My mom is not a client, I am not a client. They just went out of their way to try to help.

So I've been a sprint customer (T-Mobile has taken over) for as long as I can remember, 10+ years and enrolled in a family iPhone 'forever' plan where I get to update to a new iPhone every year while leasing the iPhone and updating my contract for another 18 months. On 11/28/2020, I went to this T-Mobile store (which use to be a sprint store but now has been taken over by T-Mobile) to upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro Max to iPhone 12 pro max. I was told it will be a backorder and since T-Mobile doesn't ship the new iPhone to home address, I've to come back to the store to pick it up when it arrives at the store within the next 7-10 days. I was told to pay taxes and upgrade support charge upfront $117.44. I asked, since I've my credit card on file for monthly charges, just bill me but was told, no, I've to pay these charges upfront via a credit card. No problem. I called in 2 weeks when I didn't hear from the store to make sure I didn't miss a call but they said, nope, still on backorder and the store haven't gotten it yet. No prob. I called the store again the next week, 3rd week, and nope, still didn't get the new iPhone. On 12/14/2020 at 3:50p, I called the T-Mobile 800 customer service number and was told that there's a back order and I won't get the New iPhone till 1/28/2021 and that's a maybe and not a definite date. Well, at that point, I decided to cancel the transaction/ upgrade and told the customer service rep to credit me back for taxes and upgrade support charge of $117 which I paid upfront at the store. No can do and I've to go back to the store to get the credit back. No prob. So on, 12/19/2020 at 5:20p, I went back to the same T-Mobile store to void the transaction as I was not interested in waiting few months for the upgrade to new iPhone 12 pro max. The store manager 'Austin' told me that he can't do it without giving me a reasonable explanation and asked me to call the 800 # for upgrade support team. I decided to wait right at the store while being on hold so after 15 min, a customer service rep comes on line and tells me that this is the wrong # and that she will transfer me to the right number so pls hold. Obviously, I was somewhat irritated that the store employee gave me the wrong # and that I waited for 15 min for nothing and now being told to wait further. I went to that employee and told him, hey get your numbers right so that this doesn't happen to another customer and they don't waste their time. I told him, that I'm on hold and being transferred to the right number and I'll give you that number after I'm done with the call. Well, this other employee 'Brennan' interrupts for some strange reason stating that I shouldn't speak to an employee like this? I asked, like what, "He gave me the wrong 800 number and wasted 15 min of my time and I'm still on hold so he should get his numbers right and not to waste another customer's time. But apparently, this employee 'Bremman' decided to take offense when it was not even his business. Anyway, I am still on hold and want this transaction voided and be on my way as it's already 30 min. So finally a customer service rep comes on line and tells me that he can't process the credit and the store has to do it. I gave the phone to The store manager 'Austin' and they are going back and forth. Anyway, that's why I stayed at the store but the manager 'Austin' who still seems confused and didn't know what to do. I have filed a written complaint with the corporate, better business bureau with a negative rating, rated them on google and Yelp to make sure other consumers avoid this T-Mobile store #7190 at 1595 Gause Blvd, Slidell, Louisiana at all costs. So pls avoid this store and T-Mobile as a carrier at all costs!

I walked into the store and walked to the counter and the nightmare began. There were three young women in the store and the first two that were waiting on me ( one's name was Alexa), I was told they did not have the phone I wanted and asking them about it they suddenly came up with the phone. I was sold a case and a screen cover and they did not help me put it on. It was a nrw phone and I was not shown how to work the phone. While transferring information my old phone was gong out because it would not hold a charge and I asked them to please plug it inn to get the phone settings transferred and I was told "NO, you go charge it your car, we don't do that. I was told they also were unable to call Apple, the maker of an iPhone. I was so disrespected that I never ever want to go back to that store again and will go to another mobile store if I need to, I left there with a phone that had no service as they had not set the new one no GPS and the charger I was sold was not the right one ( yes they changed the one in the iPhone box) and then I bight a longer cord. It was a low voltage cord and charger and almost burned my new phone up. They do not know what they are doing or they don't like their job, Something is wrong But one thing for sure they will ruin the Spectrum name for that work ethic and attitude and need replacement s soon as possible.

I called and was told I would receive my service on one of two days. It didn't happen. I called and asked what was going on. Their system was down, not a good sign for an ISP. I called again. No one could tell me why I hadn't received service or when I would receive service. After spending over 2 hours on hold with AT&T that week. I canceled my order. Then I came crawling back. They were the cheapest service by far, and I decided to just wait it out with a new Zen attitude. Of course their system couldn't handle me canceling and reordering, so that took some more time with their call centers. I had to order a different service because the service they originally sold me wasn't available where I live, an impressive lack of competence for a multi-billion dollar company. The service I ultimately bought is slower and costs more, but it still was the best deal. Once I got that order in, everything went fine. I guess the moral of this story is that you get what you pay for.
