After a couple tries to set up an appointment, today we stopped by to try our luck to see if the store was open. The store was open and even though it was approaching closing time we did get the attention needed and were able to complete our business. Gayle and I recently took my Son David to New Orleans for a special trip. He was thrilled, even with our late arrival in NOLA. As we settled in, a "crisis" arose as he couldn't find his cell phone. Both he and his Mom were convinced that his trip would be "ruined" without a phone, so the next morning I did 2 things: 1. Called the Airport to see if we could contact the cab driver in case he left it there. MSY has a neat tracking system that allows the specific cab to be located and contacted. 2. Schlepped down to the AT&T store to buy him a new phone. In the end, the cab driver did have David's phone, which we retrieved in the early afternoon without really impacting our trip. But before that happened: - The guy working at the AT&T store did a great job in getting him a phone (after a couple rounds of security confirmation with David's Mom on the line). - The same guy reversed the entire transaction after the lost phone was found. And in a good natured manner, of which we profusely thanked him and apologized for all the trouble he went through. During our time at the AT&T store, we also made the acquaintance of Alan Minor, also known as Skizm. He's a local artist who sells his wall art at the fence (water side) at Jackson Square. David not only purchased a water color piece later, but we got a lot of good food and entertainment recommendations for being at the right place as the right time. read more

Kaya! Kaya! Kaya! You upgraded our almost-obsolete iPhones 6S Plus to very affordable iPhone 12s (that's plural), cases, glass protectors and usb cables, and set up both. All accomplished within an hour! Pleasant experience! All while you and your colleague intermittently served newcomers. Thanks for your great customer service, you two! Update: I received my first bill and the promotion was NOT added. I spent at least 6 hours total on the phone with customer service to find out the promotion EXPIRED before I was persuaded into purchasing the phone under false pretenses. NO ONE will honor the promotion told to me. After explaining to customer service that I was verbally assaulted by the employee, they still advised me to go back to the store for help. I will never, ever shop at an AT&T store again. read more

Five minutes to 6, I grabbed the door and it was locked. The two lady employees that were sitting inside both looked at me and played it off as if they didn't see me. Very poor and unprofessional customer service. Im here out of town and was dismayed that my phone carrier couldn't keep the doors open until the time on the door said. Those two employees lost out on a sale/money for their company. I do understand that it was five minutes to 6 and that they were closing at 6. But when you're in the customer service business, if you don't serve your customer, your competitor will. I hope that this isn't an on-going thing with this particular AT&T location. If so, the management team and upper management need to retrain their employees and stress to them that staying open until its posted closing time to serve its costumers, is essential to the company's reputation as a whole and for the sake of keeping its clientele. Didn't expect too much going in but just had really bad customer service from the ladies working here

This review is totally for customer service at this particular store, not AT&T wireless service itself. I had to switch to a family plan, upgrade my phone and purchase two additional phones. I knew how annoying this was going to be so after stopping at one mall kiosk and talking to an AT&T rep for two seconds, I procrastinated for two more months! As soon as I walked in Michaelyn offered to help me, there was no waiting for assistance at all. She walked me around to look at the different phones. Then she helped find a phone for me that would be simple enough for my mother to use. Another representative that was working, Erica, chimed in with her opinion of the phone and they went and got a different phone for me that was easier to use, but better quality. Michaelyn then opened all three phones for me and tested them, then applied the screen covers and cases. She was also a huge help answering all and every question about the family plan for me. An added bonus, while Michaelyn was doing this, Erica and I were discussing how much we both spoil our dogs! Added bonus! The entire experience was SO MUCH less painful than anticipated and I believe thats only because of the location I went to. The whole store was laid back and friendly and you could really pick up that the employees enjoy working with each other, there was just a really good dynamic or feel in that store. If you do have AT&T, I would highly recommend conducting any business at this particular store. They were so nice, I might go back with questions, just to hang out for another hour! read more

Really bad service at this location at approximately 10:30am on Monday, 30th April. I'm an international visitor and have always been loyal to AT&T everytime I'm in the States. Today I went in to ask for assistance because my original phone was broken and seeing that I'm using an AT&T unlimited prepaid line and a 2nd AT&T phone, I wanted to access an unlocked phone so I can move everything from my old phone to my new one (sms, call verifications and whatnot). Firstly the lady took forever to attend to the growing line of customers. She was slow, unattentive and basically didn't look like she cared. When it came to our turn, she just yelled out "I'm ready for whoever's next!" as if she's doing the customers a favour? I explained my issue very politely and clearly to her and she gave me the nastiest questioning look and flat out told me in a rude manner to head to the Apple Store. Even if AT&T couldn't handle my issue, there wasn't a need to be rude and condescending. If she's not happy serving people, perhaps don't be stationed in the middle of the French Quarter? Or better, yet, stay away from customer facing roles because there's a lot more people out there who can do a much better job. read more

This store provided me with the best customer service experience I've ever had. I recently underwent a somewhat bizarre episode of identity theft in which my account was fraudulently ported from AT&T to a series of other carriers in an effort to accomplish who knows what. Once I arrived at this AT&T Store to deal with the issue I was immediately assisted. As the representative (Brittany) worked through the problem with me (which turned out to be quite complex and time-sensitive given the element of fraud) several other representatives joined in the effort. The team went way beyond the standard of customer service to help me by communicating with their personal industry contacts to determine how best to solve my problem. Despite reaching a point at which it looked like I'd have to file a court order in order to proceed (and be phoneless for who knows how long), the team didn't give up and ended up pulling off a veritable act of telephonical wizardry to resolve the problem before it was too late. It was like watching an episode of MacGyver. Not only did the team save me a massive headache and potentially a serious sum of money, they handled the problem in a way that was calming and reassuring. These are good people who care a lot about their customers. read more
