We were finally able…read moreto get Internet the first part of May 2019 With AT&T so I was just excited to be able to have Internet back! But I am not happy at all with the way AT&T gets you is you cannot have unlimited Internet unless you take Direct Tv as a bundle so the representative told me it would include a $200 visa gift card and it would also include the NFL Sunday ticket at no cost. Well it's been 3 1/2 months now and I haven't received my $200 Visa card and I just Found out I do not get the NFL Sunday ticket. Disappointed when companies do not provide what they say they will. Think twice before going with Direct Tv and now since AT&T includes Directtv think twice about AT&T if you have a choice you might have a better choice than AT&T and DIRECTV!!!

I have a cell phone and had so with Verizon for many years-- I called AT&T company and told them the problem. they told me they dont even have internet in my area. I asked then why did your guy sell me internet service after he checked my address??. End result was to send cell phone back and all would be cancelled. This was done, Jan 22, I receive a bill for 85.00. I call them again. After several hours on the phone and 5 transfers. No one was able to help me. I went online and started the chat thing and gave them all the info-- after an hour things were all fixed again and it showed account closed for buyers remorse-- really?? This whole thing was their fault but if they want to call it that OK! I then received a new bill Feb 12- today- starting with " just a friendly reminder to pay my bill ect ect--- Now I'm mad-- I went on the chat thing and copy and pasted the last chat I had emailed myself so they wold have all the info- after 45 min he tells me "I see you are logged in" I said yes to my Directv account so I could get on the chat- He said he could no longer help me as I could not give him a 4 digit code-- He said I needed to call the 800 # and authenticate myself-- WHAT??? So of course I call and let them have it-- I said maybe I need to cancel my directTV so I can totally get rid of AT&T for good. I still need to do that. After being transferred again and telling my story, the gal said she would reverse the charges and it would show 0 due-- Ummmm what about next month?? Delete the friggen account!! The worst company I have ever dealt with. Maybe they have taken on to much-- Don't use them for anything!!!!

As for the service and internet connection, I couldn't be happier. Heck in the last 2 years, my internet speed has gone up from uploads at 375 Mbps to almost 500 Mbps! I didn't have to do a thing, they just raised the speed for the same price! The upload speed went up super fast too, form just 12 Mbps to a whopping 420 Mbps, almost the same speed as downloading. This is important to me, cause I upload a lot of work vids and pics back to the main office, so they upload super quick. One thing I don't like is the price over the years seems to keep going up, but I'm lucky work pays for my connection, but still. I tried to go into the store and see if I could get one of those deals where it's like half the cost, but they said it's just for new customers only, so there's that! The connection is pretty reliable most the time, sure on occasion it might go out, but that's cause the electricity went out on the area for whatever reason. I'm happy with Spectrum. I just do the internet and have a home phone connection, but no TV service, there's plenty to watch on Prime over the internet!

On August 26, representatives from this T-Mobile store sold two phones and a watch to my father who…read morehas Alzheimer's. He didn't need any new phones or a watch, and is unable to use the phone he currently has due to diminishing cognitive skills. His caregiver was with him at the time and attempted to inform the employee that this was a bad idea, and that my dad wouldn't know how to work a watch let on a smart phone. Nonetheless the representative pursued the sale my dad, who due to his condition, says yes to everything. So he walked out of there with a bill of about $1286 for the three devices. Once this happened, I came into town and explained to my dad what it happened, and he was flabbergasted. Clearly, he was unaware of how much he would be paying for all of this, thinking it was all free, and when I asked him to try the phone, he couldn't even use it. This was two days after the purchase, and so we went back to the store on August 28. I explained to the current sales representatives what had happened and asked them to completely undo it. The person who helped me was not interested in the issues I was bringing up, and was talking with her coworkers about other jobs she was applying to. The whole process of returning the phones took about an hour and a half, while my dad who is 85, sat there on their uncomfortable chair, when he should have been at home, resting. The sales representative said she could not refund the restocking fees, which were $120 total (40 for each device), because the manager was "gone for a week." She didn't seem to care one bit and never at any point apologized for the previous sales persons exploitation of my dad. On Tuesday, September 16, I came back to town and went to the store again to ask about refunding the restocking fees. I explained that the situation involves in him being sold phones and devices that he doesn't need due to both his cognitive disabilities and an employees exploiting the situation and selling him things he can't use. I pointed out that we had been there a couple weeks before and I'd asked to have those restocking fees waived, and the person who helped at the time said she couldn't waive them because the manager wasn't there. So I asked if the manager was here currently. He said yes and I said could I please speak to her about waiving these fees. He went into the back and came back out and said that she told him she couldn't waive the fees. I pointed out that I consider this financial exploitation of a person with cognitive disabilities. And I pointed out that it was one of their employees who took advantage of that. The gentleman (probably fresh out of high-school) was nice, but clearly was just doing whatever the manager told him to do. The manager was apparently too busy to come out and talk with me in person. I informed him that I would have to report them to the Better Business Bureau and give them a very bad review because of this. He seemed to be fine with that, and I made sure that he understood that I was taking the seriously. He tried to say that there was nothing they could do, and said it was a corporate thing, basically passing the buck, as though the store had no responsibility with the situation whatsoever. Turns out later on that they didn't completely cancel the service. He still got charged one month of service for devices and lines he didn't even have any more. I consider this egregious financial exploitation of an elderly person, and personally I think they should be fined for it, to prevent this kind of abuse of elderly people in the future.
