Beware of unethical dealings at t-mobile mt shasta mall i went to upgrade in August and was told and agreed on a monthly price and when I got the text for my first bill it was over $100 more than I was told and agreed on i was dealing with the manager about it and she was helpful until 4 months later when the bill still was over$100 more than I agreed to i was tolthnot by her that she was done dealing with it and I had to call 611 so after and hour on the phone with them I was told the whole deal was done wrong so I wasn't eligible for the promotions I was told I was going to get in the end I'm paying $50 more than I agreed on pretty unethical in my opinion that they won't stand behind the deal that was made read more

I've had metro since at least 2008 besides for a brief switch for about 2 months while traveling. I've always loved the service. Until I moved to Redding and started doing business at the Dana drive location. Long story short I was highly mistreated by an employee who then refused to give me his name. The store manager Mike, came out and made the situation worse. My husband (only my husband, not myself) got banned from the location for sticking up for me. We left. His phone (only his) was turned off by this location without our knowledge or consent even though our bill was payed, to me that's stealing my money. I pay you for service you take my money but don't give service? That's theft. I had to call corporate to have his phone turned back on. When I explained what happened to corporate they apologized and said I was allowed to do business there if I choose to. I reluctantly went back alone a few weeks later to purchase a new phone and move my old phone to my husbands account. Everything was going great I was being helped by a young lady who was super nice and knowledgeable and everything was going smooth. I spent over $200. She went to move my old phone to my husbands number and said she had to get some help. An employee named Ariana came over and said she was a manager there and that "if we had known it was you, we wouldn't have helped you!" I told her I spoke with corporate and was told I was allowed to shop here and that we could call corporate together and get to the bottom of why I'm still getting harassed after taking my money..she told me she didn't have time for that. When I explained what happened to me the first time and how I was feeling like I didn't want to be their customer anymore she told me "WE DONT WANT CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU ANYWAYS!" She also tried to say she was there for the original incident and heard the whole confrontation. She was not there that day.. They want to take your money and then treat you however they feel like. I tried to resolve this twice with corporate and never was reached out to. I took my family of 5 to another service, we're paying less and have better phones. I came into the store to get the SIM card working in my old phone because I had to send my new one back to Amazon. The metro website wouldn't let me log on without a code, which they only send via text, and I couldn't receive texts because I don't have the SIM activated for that phone. I went into the store to explain the situation and they would only activate the card if I paid $15. I explained the situation and the worker shrugged his shoulders and said "It's policy to charge $15." I tried telling him I couldn't activate it online and he said "Yeah sorry it's policy." Well my policy is to not do business with a company who won't work with their customers so as soon as my new phone arrives tomorrow I'm switching to Verizon. I would rather have been hit by a car than go here. SheShe and the other girls working have got to be the most incompetent people ever hired. I don't care or want your upselling, I want you to switch me from AT&T. Which this feat took 4 hours on 4/6/24 for 4 phone lines. None of them can stay on track NONE of them help each other to help the customer, and none of them really seem to care about anything but upselling. The Music in the building is so GD loud it ear piercing, we were told it has to be to protect customers, which is BS. My wife and I are both in the Medical and banking field and we don't have to do that. This all causes the customers to talk louder and the irritation level is +12. It is now 2215 the same night and I am STILL trying to recover all my info from 1 phone to the other. And I get to go back tomorrow to get my $1600 in reimbursement from them paying off all the old phones. Avoid the Churn Creek store like the plague. Metropcs.com is a mess! I went into Metro to purchase a new phone for a disabled veteran who lives in Los Angeles. They could not help me and sent me home to purchase it through their website. I wanted to purchase the phone and just send it down to their payee for this man - no, the local person at the Metro next to the Mall said - go to the online. I had the purchase pre-approved by my credit card company, purchased it, got a confirmation number and order number - two days later got an email from online support saying it was canceled but gave me a number to call...so I called it. They couldn't help me so they gave me to this number 877-603-3032 and told me - six different people, six different calls - that I would be given support there. The phone answered, "Hello, thank you for calling support for your online order. Please visit our online store at metropcs.com and submit an email explaining your situation. I have been at this since 2/4/2018 and am so frustrated I want to cancel my account (but I probably won't). The tax structure in the area in LA is different than here so they can't give me an accurate amount so I can't just send a check. If I send a check the payee will need to cash it and actually go to help him purchase the phone as he was blown up in Afghanistan and can't do these things for himself...so that won't help. If he has the phone in hand he is capable of going in to have the new phone activated - but that is impossible as it stands. Now I am going to attempt to go back to the store and buy the phone and send it to the payee myself - which will nullify any protection plan - according to the Redding representative I spoke to. I will check with my credit card company and wonder how many times they charged me for the phones they canceled??? I am frustrated as you can see. To top it off I live where there is no cell service - and Frontier is not reliable so I stand in the street or drive to town to wait online for an hour - then asking to speak to a supervisor is impossible. I was yelled at by one person, put on hold by another until thirty minutes later it went dead and the third person tonight told me that the entire Metro account system was down for an upgrade and I needed to call back in 30 minutes. Trying to help a man who gave his legs for our country and Metropcs is totally uncooperative. What a night! read more

Aweful service make sure not to choose Metro if you want to be able to make calls. Worst service ever doesn't even work in town. I tried to call for help but no response I emailed no response. Wow! What an excellent experience I have just had with Metro PCS on Dana Drive in Redding. Chris assisted me in switching from my current carrier and he couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable, THANK YOU CHRIS! He walked me through the whole process, spoke to my son on their phone so that he could choose his cell phone without having to come in the store, assisted me in choosing the perfect plan for both of us and had the patience of a saint! My son and I are both very happy with the phones that we chose and the phone service and coverage so far have been great. So glad to see Metro PCS giving the OTHER guys (A_&_) a run for their money, as they seem to think they can just charge people through the nose and they will continue put up with it. I have been a customer for a little over a year. I love the service but what I don't love is when I go in the store and there are three people working. Two are helping customers and the third says to us that some one will be right with us. He was not helping any customers. Yet we sat there for a good twenty minutes while he was just standing there. He never once tried to help us. We had to wait for one of the other employees to get done with his customer before we got helped. Andrew is completely useless. I went into look at phones and he could not answer questions about the specs of the phone and gave us wrong info. Came back 3 days later and Chris helped us Chris informed us that the info Andrew gave us was wrong. Andrew was standing right there and I told Chris, Andrew was the one that gave us the info that was wrong. Andrew lied to his supervisor about the info from 3 days ago calling my lady and I liers.
