Jim doesn't want a return, Yamaha doesn't want a return, nor do I. BTW Yamaha doesn't hand out warranty service contracts on a whim. Somebody there has some serious talento. BTW.....sent a Teac Cassette Deck in for a factory re-do oil/belts in California. 80 bucks to ship one way. 289.00 for service..... Unit failed within 3 weeks....Garage door guys two hours charge 30 minutes there and millage....sounds like Jim's cheap. One last thing, been in good to great audio for 50 years. When living in a cell with another man, the value of a good T.V. is SO much more than what most people EVER think about. My brother has been "Violation Free" for about 6 years now. One of his most prized & cherished possessions is his T.V. His "link" to the outside. When it broke down on him, thankfully, his cellmate had his T.V. to watch. Recently though, his cellmate's T.V., the "on/off" switch broke, so now they had NOTHING. With the help of family, he sent his T.V. out to be repaired at A-1 Electronics. They followed all the rules of the prison and Steve recently got his old T.V. back, GOOD AS NEW. I can't begin to say how much that means to us, his family. We purchased that T.V. for him 15 or 16 years ago, and Steve has cared for it the whole time. Thank you to A-1 for not holding judgment on my brother or other prisoners, they all made mistakes and are making their amends to society. We REALLY appreciate a business like A-1 for taking their calls and fixing their electronics for them!! First St. Suite 182 Farmington, Mo.6364 We've been using them since they first opened S a start up and has grown into still a small business from Farmington filling a hole in business of electronics. We personally have used them extensively when we have lived in Farmington now the second and end of moving for us now. Upon returning we came by the first location and they were gone but found out that they moved across town in what's called the factory building. So we went back to using them in the field with taking care of our computers and cell phone in some things but not a cell repair store. In their new location they have a room for gamers with machines and chairs I would use to take a Knapp, in front room tons of computer equipment, we're glade they are here local and as I say if at all possible I always will use a local vendor they are a main pet of supporting the community and that hood for all of us. If you have electronic issues give them a call at 573-701-9200 if they can't help you or maybe refer you to someone. They have a great highly trained staff, very nice, friendly, easy to understand the tech talk, not sure but they do local house cLls repairs as well. They Installed a new stereo, within a few days, unit was doing same as old, took in when available and guy said he found water in unit, sold me a "water proof" unit cover. Looked great, went well with bike, and needed one. 3days later, unit starts doing the same thing. Cutting out, flashing some amazing colors, changing volume, and changing in and out of BTA. So now back again, the 3rd time, now the guy refuses to help me. Refuses to give me back my money without a OG box. Told me it could take up to 6 months to get the unit I want on my bike. I checked on Amazon, Boss had one for $53. and would have it in 4 days. l wanted was a great working unit on my bike so I can wind therapy in peace. I wouldn't recommend this place.
