I was told they'd look at it and let me know next steps. I was told I'd need to leave a deposit and I'd hear back. I received a call the next day, wherein a voicemail was left letting me know they'd have to order a battery and it'd arrive in 5-7 days. I never heard back. A few weeks later, I called for an update and was told that they couldn't find my phone but could see the work order and that they'd call me back. No one called me back. I called a month later and was told the same thing and that I'd get a call back. Nope. No call. Oh, by the way, when I "paid a deposit", I was actually signed up for a subscription for Asurion Home that I wasn't made aware of. I cancelled it, but not before I was charged. I visited the store today, as it's clear no one cared to call me back. The manager let me know they likely recycled it after 3 months. He said someone would have called to let me know. Spoiler: no one called me. I, however, did call at the 3 month mark and no one said a word to me outside of letting me know they'd have to keep searching and would call me back. And even though someone said they could see my work order when I called, today I was told there was no work order. I really don't know what to think. Was it deleted to cover tracks when they couldn't find my phone? Did one of them steal my phone and delete the work order? I mean, wtf is happening? From my perspective on the outside, I have to assume the employees either have a min amount of people they need to subscribe to Asurion Home, or there is some sort of credit they receive (it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to) and the person who I spoke with did so without telling me. Regarding my phone, the manager says it was probably recycled after 3 months and that he couldn't help me. He said to call corporate (which I just did. They asked for the work order#, but that was apparently misplaced along with my phone). His recycled-at-3-months argument is nonsense as well, as my phone went missing after a few weeks. I needed the data on the phone and planned to do a data transfer (per the employee), so I didn't need the phone. It was a phone that wasn't in use. But now the data is gone, along with my phone. This really blows for me. I'm pretty upset and I feel like I won't be helped. So yeah, don't go here unless you're interested in a surprise subscription to Asurion Home and being out the cost of a phone.

Said I could have just picked up my computer and sent it to Dell myself to settle but how the hell do you do that if you have no proof of Ubreakifix's order for replacement battery under warranty and a tracking number to prove it was lost in shipment??!!! All which "corporate" says is not permitted under their "policy" worse yet they try to upsell me on an Asurion maintenance plan!!!!! No on your life! RUN DONT WALK!

They also signed me up for a $25/month charge for a "home device protection plan" that I never was informed of and I don't have any home devices from Verizon. I would avoid this store at all costs. Thankful for the Verizon Customer Service rep that found each of these things and saved me over $90/month from what this store set me up for.

I went with my father who isn't even a current customer. He was having a significant technical issue and the person that helped us, Lyland, was just outstanding and a great representation of Verizon. He was very patient and helped us understand what the issue probably is. Even after a factory reset, the problem persisted. Based on this experience, I don't think I would consider going anywhere else.

The place is well-camouflaged in a residential neighborhood. However, if you're a musician and love to use a tube amp...you need to know about this place. The repairs there are the best. The turnaround time is fast and the prices are more than fair. A few years back, I was renting some gear to a well-known touring band. One of the amps, a solid state one chosen by the rhythm guitarist, needed some serious work. It just wouldn't start up! I took it to Don @ Phil's and had it back 3 days and less than $50 later. I was so impressed, I took another amp, a 4x10 Fender tube amp, in to get the speakers looked at. They were shot. Don was going to re-cone them...but called me later with a surprise. He came across a new-in-box set of original replacements. Parts and labor? $200. That's nothing for a job like this! I've since taken a few amps there. Need an organ fixed? He can do that too. A friend had a Hammond C3 redone there. Cool old TV or Hi Fi or antique radio? He can fix those. Need that impossible to find vintage tube or capacitor? Chances are he has it...possibly a box of them. Its like stepping back to the mid 60s walking in there. Its not flashy at all. Just lots of shelves with tubes and stuff. Tube testers. Stacks of projects lined up. It's a gear-head's dream in there. This place is the real deal and best of all, Don is as honest as they come. His prices are unbelievably fair. He's also a musician and a really interesting guy to talk to. Every time I stop in, I lose at least an hour or more. If you need the work done...go to Phil's. You can tell him I sent you but you don't have to. You'll be glad you went there!
