I want to start by saying that my 3-star rating is not a reflection of the customer service or the quality of the work performed. The customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and proactive with appointment reminders and communication throughout the process. The plumber, Chris L., was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Most importantly, he arrived on time--which is something I greatly appreciate. He took the time to explain the work being performed and answered my questions thoroughly. The reason for the reduced rating is the pricing. The quoted cost to replace a shower valve and raise a shower head exceeded $1,500, even though I had already supplied the valve. Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of a military discount, which brought the cost to about 1,350.00. While I was satisfied with the service and workmanship, I found the original price to be extremely high for the scope of the work. Costs like these are one of the reasons many homeowners are increasingly choosing to learn and tackle projects themselves rather than hiring professionals. read more

Only asked "3" times to call first so I can put my overly exuberant dogs in crate to avoid chaos when arriving, they didn't & chaos prevailed! Tech installed heat unit filter "backwards", no doubt costing us more fuel $$, reducing efficiency, (colder than normal), along with health concerns. Called & wrote 3 times for a response, with NO response! Will seek a new vendor whose more attentive and hopefully more competent. read more

Unfortunately, my experience post-acquisition was a significant decline in the quality of service. Recently, I used Crisafulli for both plumbing and generator services. In both instances, the technicians misdiagnosed the actual issues. I ended up calling alternative local companies, who correctly identified the problems and fully resolved them--costing me less than what Crisafulli charged and quoted for the incorrect diagnoses.To their credit, the field employees were very respectful and polite. However, they seemed underqualified to handle these specific diagnostic jobs. While I appreciate a good customer service attitude, the lack of technical expertise and inaccurate quotes mean I can no longer trust them with my home. After a decade and a half of loyalty, it is disappointing to have to take my business elsewhere. read more

Signed up for their red-carpet service. Technician Chuck S. came out and said there wasn't enough room to take off boiler cover and door. Said we needed to fix it. Had contractor come in and fix boiler room only to find out there was enough slack to move boiler door to side and clean-tech didn't pick up on this as this is how others serviced the boiler in the past. When technician came he immediately started complaining about the room and stated "someone must not like me." I spent $3,000 to only learn nothing was wrong to begin with and technician didn't know what they were doing. The boiler had been cleaned and serviced for years. You live and you learn! I wouldn't recommend. Some people show up and just don't want to do work. read more

I hired Crisafulli for a project at my house recently, and I was pleased with the work. They were at my house three times. The first was a general consultation to investigate the problems I was trying to resolve. I decided to purchase a generator from them, and the second visit, a couple of days later, was to consult with a specialist on the purchase. I was able to get three discounts - which of course means they had wiggle room in their prices in the first place. Regardless, about a week later, a team of three installed the generator in approximately five hours. They did make a small slip-up during the installation, but they put a temporary fix in place immediately, and the crew remained on site until a needed part was brought to my house to complete the repair. Everyone with whom I worked or spoke was professional, informative, and courteous. I'll keep them in mind for possible future work. read more

I had some remodeling done in my bathroom. John and Jim were wonderful and they did a fantastic job. They were prompt, polite, patient ( I am having some hearing issues and they were willing to repeat everything for me), conscientious, courteous, and hard working. They were also very accommodating. They were willing to do some additional work (painting my ceiling, putting up border paper) and I appreciate it so much. They pulled the usual nonsense.."well who did you speak to" I spoke to one of the two people in your office who schedules service calls!!! So sick and tired of this BS!!! This is the new normal incompetent way of doing business. Our hot water heater needed to be traded out. First of all this company went & bought the most expensive HWH, the price was unbelievable. Never cleared this purchase with us. Second, the company delivered the WRONG HWH. They installed one for Propane. After it was installed we find this out. They did ask if our old one was for propane or gas. We told them gas several times. Third, they installed & left & said we should have hot water soon. We called them back no hot water. They came out again. Now they needed to order a part, after they had already converted this HWH. These guys were unprofessional & had no idea what they are doing. Woke up in the morning to go to work, no hot water. Our patience is running thin now! We have been without hot water for 1 week. We have left our name & phone # with whoever is in charge. NEVER HEARD FROM THIS COMPANY. We find out this MONAHAN & EVERY PLUMBING& HEATING is being sold to a well know Company here in this area. We have placed a call for them too, heard nothing. My wife and I are SO HAPPY we tried M & E for our plumbing and heating needs. We built 8 years ago and have a complicated system incorporating solar hot water, solar PV and an on-demand furnace with radiant heat in three zones. It's at the age now where little things are beginning to show their age. We've called M & E twice now in the last six months, and both times their employees arrived as scheduled, were completely knowledgeable and professional, cleaned up whatever mess might have resulted from the work, and were pleasant and polite and considerate. Both service technicians offered advice on what we could do to minimize future problems. (And both were upfront in admitting they weren't solar professionals and that they would advise us if they felt we should ask for solar-specific assistance.)
