New stylish brunch bistro in East Greenbush. Service at the bar was good. Food was OK. Not great. My mushroom and pepper omelette had the few mushrooms on top and not the cut up real peppers that I like. My dinner companion had the BLT with egg. Very hard to eat. Menu is strictly brunch no real lunch items. Overall a good job.

I am a great fan of Café Madison so we thought we'd try this new location. My first encounter was that trying to check the website to find a phone number or to make reservations or use OpenTable was fruitless. We were a party of four people and when walking in the front door, there was only one or two people in line ahead of us. When getting to the hostess station, they were less than friendly and there were several tables available however, they said it would be a 30 minute wait because they had reservations for those tables so we opted for the bar. Bartender was knowledgeable and friendly and answered questions for us. One silly turn off for me is to have to open individual creamers and have to ask for more because it's a strong coffee and we needed 5 to 6 creamers. Our food order took 40 minutes and we had inquired about it. People that came after us were served and left by the time we got our food. After we inquire, the manager came over and said there was a mixup in the kitchen and offered us a mimosa in compensation. When the food arrived, the portions seemed smaller than other locations and quite honestly the corn beef skillet had very little corn beef and it was dried out and not hot as one would expect it was warm. My spouse ordered the chorizo shrimp dish, which came with a lot of onions and was overpowering, and this was not described on the menu as such. My brother-in-law had biscuits and gravy which he said were good and my sister had an omelette which she enjoyed. The main difference at this location is ambience is quite different and the noise level is perhaps a little better than northern Boulevard. I was disappointed in the food, quality and temperature and proportion and obviously the wait time to get food. I understand it's still fairly new but for a party of four this should have been much shorter dining experience. It was rather expensive for four people plan to drop $100 with tip, with two drink drinks and two coffees. Will try them again hopefully all the kinks will be worked out and the hostess is more adept. The other thing I was missing was daily specials, which have proven to be quite delicious at other locations.

I gave them 3 stars because it's a new business and they may be working out kinks etc. On a positive note: The service was attentive. They use a quality meat boarshead. Being a freshly opened walk in business, the ambiance is a bit barren. If they want to be a successful deli they have to choose between selling quality deli products or bongs and cheap cigar/tobacco. If they're content with what they are doing, bless them, it's a place I wouldn't go back to even in a jam. Their shelves are filled with things you find at Stewart's, the deli counter seems like a secondary thought after they filled the main behind the counter space with cheap cigars ( the kind you use to roll blunts) and bongs. It did not have the feel of a deli but rather a convenient store with a sandwich counter. The food: as I stated, the boarshead is a good start. The bread was not made today and likely not vacuum sealed since being opened a day or two ago. I had a roastbeef with provolone LTO AND Mayo. Lettuce was wet from being washed (buy a spinner) which makes the sub drip..yuck. Honestly, intake responsibility for not asking for oil/vinegar that may have given the sandwich some life. It was bland. Not enough Mayo, tasteless tomatoes (not their fault), wet lettuce. Just a plain convenient store sandwich. I will try this again and provide them with more direction. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

The bar is attractive. It's the first thing you see when you come in and it was very busy. There's also a good size dining area with more than a dozen tables. On this particular day all of the tables were occupied by 1pm and there was a line of would-be diners waiting to be seated. It was a Friday and the sun was shining brightly. The arctic blast that we had been experiencing finally broke. This was first milder winter day in a long time. It seems the good weather brought out the crowds. The staff admitted they were a bit surprised by the turnout. I understand why the community is drawn to this place. Both the decor and the staff are so cheerful. I ordered a fully dressed hamburger, onions and etc. I also had coleslaw and macaroni salad. It was all great except that my medium well done burger was a bit more charred than I would have liked. I would take off a half point for that, but kudos to the kitchen and the entire staff for making it through the onslaught of customers without appearing to break a sweat. I'd like to return another day when things are a bit less busy. I'm pretty sure the burgers will be perfect then.

The food came out quickly. It was tasty and most of us had plenty of leftovers to bring home for later. I would absolutely return for the nice outdoor ambience!

As you walk in, it's not fancy or looking special. Just a regular place in a strip mall. Don't judge a book by its cover. We were super disappointed that the buffet was closed but they were gracious to offer 20% off our meals. First to arrive was the garlic naan which was good. But I really want to talk about the Chicken Korma! I wanted spicy so he asked me from 1-10 how spicy. I ordered a 5 because the waiter said that most people who say they like spicy find the 7 too spicy. It was PERFECT! Finally something spicy that was perfect. It was so so delicious I am still thinking about it. Everyone else ordered the tikka chicken which is a safe bet if you're starting to venture into amazing Indian food. I just love all the flavors!!! Food wise, the only disappointment was the chai tea. I did not care for it, and it was served in a takeout cup which was weird. The waiter was amazing. Very attentive and friendly explaining all the dishes well. I would definitely return. PS I tried to come back again for the buffet but they were closed again. I am wondering if they're going to do away with it. I would call ahead of time to check.

I will surely stop in again when I'm in the area. Well done!

We shared the arancini, homemade meatballs and the 5 formaggi pizza. The arancini was a great appetizer. The was a rice ball filled with mozzarella and had a nice crisp breading. It was served with their Rosa sauce. The meatballs were good and had well balanced tomato sauce served with it and pipped whipped ricotta. The wood fired pizza is something you have to get there. Definitely one of the best wood fired pizzas I've had. It had a nice thin crisp crust and a pillowy crust end. The flavor of the cheeses and garlic was a good combination. We will be back in the future when traveling in the area.
