I got my husband and I some shawarma meals here and overall they were great. I got the chicken saj shawarma meal ($14.99) for myself and got the lamb saj shawarma meal ($16.99) for my husband. They both came with fries, coleslaw and pickles. I love saj bread. It's so much tastier than regular pita, IMO. However, this saj bread was a bit on the dry side. It wasn't as soft and chewy as I like. The chicken was excellent. A good mix of soft tender pieces and crispy crunchy pieces. The chicken saj has pickles and garlic sauce in the wrap. Those are the default toppings. The lamb was too gamey for me, but my husband liked it. He said he would have liked more crispy pieces though. The lamb saj comes with tomatoes, tabouli, and tahini in the wrap. The coleslaw was mayo based and satisfactory but nothing remarkable. The fries were regular cut fries, likely from frozen and then they sprinkle some spices on it. I like that they were generous with the fries. The fries were quite good. The pickles were ok and the pickled turnips were ok too. Service was neutral, and not that quick, but not excessively slow. They have a fairly large dining room that's nicely decorated. The shawarma here is Syrian-style, which is different from the majority of shawarma places in Ottawa which serve Lebanese-style shawarma. I like both. The restaurant is in the same plaza as T&T and where Dagu Rice Noodles used to be. Lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. read more

Picked up a chicken shawarma sandwich in saj bread on a Saturday afternoon. There was no line at the time so I got my order in a few short minutes. The chicken has a nice char and tasted pretty good. It's not quite as good value as Palace but the flavours are nice. I'm definitely very glad to have saj bread options here. We'll be back to try their lamb shawarma, something that's harder to find. The boss was so kind to let me try their homemade ayran which went well with the shawarma. read more

They made me wait for 45 minutes for a family tray because the owner was passing his friends first. It was very annoying and disturbing. I was waiting inline and people were standing behind me took their food before. The service was very bad and they cut on the portions but not the price. I will never go there again as we have other options where they will love our business, like Laheeb and Pita bell. They made me vey mad so I lost my appetite to eat after a long day of fasting. Their falafel, hummus and chicken shawerma platter are absolutely scrumptious! I usually order their Saj chicken shawerma but I had to try their platter, still so good but I prefer the Saj meal. The price is reasonable, plenty of packing space available. read more

This place opened in the midst of lockdown so we made sure to check it out when restaurants opened.. it was quiet busy you can tell from the parking lot it's full, we waited a bit then they cleaned a huge table for us. The wait for the food (shawerma which is supposed to be fast food) was about 40 minutes.. I believe they can get more organized and get orders faster. Food was fresh and yummy. Garlic sauce was so creamy . The fries were crispy. The meat shawerma had a bit of a heavy taste since it was lamb.. but overall a great family friendly spot! read more

Finally opened! I've been eyeing this place ever since it started going under renovation after the hot pot place closed down. Finally got to swing by to try it for the first time last night after a long day of work. Their service is quick, food is fresh, and the place looks super nice! I was a little sad they ran out of rice before 8pm, but the fries didn't disappoint, even after taking it home it didn't get soggy. Staff are also very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing interior decor! Unfortunately the cashier wasn't very friendly, she did half try with occasional strained smile so I kept communication to a minimal as to not cause her too much grief. Digital board said free lentil soup, cashier pointed at empty containers implying no lentil soup even tho just a handful of customers and early in the day (11:30am). Food was average with small portion compared to the many shawarma places that I have tried across the country (Canada). You pay, you sit and they make it with the ingredients (we ordered mix plate) that they choose. They don't ask you what you want in it like usual places. Washrooms are mini rooms accessed with a general corridor. Overall not bad but food is average and if you like onions, there were none in the plate/platter. read more

I had the chicken shawarma plate and it was AH MAY ZING!!! The staff were really sweet and nice all around!! The owner, Emad, was really sweet as well, he helped us with anything we needed, checked on us and even served us complimentary tea towards the end!! The food was really good! The rice was flavorful, the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and to top it all off, they give you huge portions which was a really sweet bonus!! For my first time in Canada, it was really nice to have a home cooked meal that allows you to feel the warmth of home! 100/10 recommend this place!! read more

The Resturant looked good and clean however the service and food quality were very poor. We were charged more than the price that was listed on their menu. They did adjust the price however we ended up with one of the smallest shawarma wraps we had ever seen. The shawarma wraps were extremely oily and were falling apart. It appeared that The staff behind the counter didn't have lunch or dinner as they were eating while preparing our food. I would say the food in this restaurant is Too expensive with poor quality.
