Time for an updated review since I've been here several more times. I love their soft serve ice cream. Everyone is always friendly and it's always super clean in here!

    my go-to creation!

We love Crispy Cones! You can't get soft serve ice cream at many places, and the crispy cone itself is such a cool feature! So many variations & toppings make it really special, and the specialty flavors of the month/week definately keep people coming! We always have quick service, but the workers are typically younger high school or college students, which is completely fine, but sometimes they are a tad rude..

Good concept but for the price not so good ($8 give or take for a cone)...I ordered strawberry /nutella and there was a tiny bit of drizzle and 4 strawberry slices individually added to the cone. The ice cream was hollow and kind of icy / not creamy. Ice cream fell off the cone after the second bite. Just overall a bummer.

Traditional cone with chocolate vanilla swirl. Added Nutella and heath bar.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere and very friendly service. The size is perfect and taste is amazing. A fun treat!

There are several options to choose from which you can customize even for their weekly specialty

Only learned of this place Crispy Cones that had opened this past Spring after local residents saw it on Shark Tank and wanted one here. Came with my son and hope more will learn of this hidden gem. It's in the small strip found on the intersection of Garlington & Woodruff Rd (NE corner by OrangeTherapy and Oriental House, WingStop). Very clean quaint place that has menu on the monitor. It's soft serve ice cream that you can choose between vanilla, chocolate or swirl UNLESS there's a specialty flavor which there was - banana. Yes, the banana brulee! My son also considered it, wanting to expand his usual choice yet did go for the cookie a la mode. Each specialty had various fillings/toppings for example my Banana Brulee had graham crackers (which you see out the outside and in the inside), a peanut butter spread which was put on the inside of the pastry, and a caramel sauce on top of the banana foster ice cream. Normally the cone would be maple but I was watching my calories (jk) and asked for the traditional cone. My adult son on our "try something different" monthly date as mentioned, got the cookie a la mode. Yup when he was a child, he liked any kind of Oreo or cookie ice cream, etc. This had vanilla soft serve ice cream and Oreos in its filling & topping, yet it also had Biscoff spread and some type of cookie butter sauce and cookie dough. I think his childhood came back to life and why he already took a bite before I was able to take any photos. I keep calling these crispy cones as pastry cones because it tastes like a delicious pastry. The owner shared that the cones are baked instead of fried so healthier. Cones are really nice crisp and fresh. We saw one of the staff wrapping the dough around the cone shaper before the cones are baked. The ice cream is very creamy, even for the vanilla base. I used a spoon to eat mine except when it came time to get the cone. Absolutely loved the cone which to me is a yummy pastry. My son said he wanted to dip his cone at the end into something since he finished off the ice cream. They do sell hot chocolate and that would satisfy the desire when you want to dip a delightful pastry. So you basically get both ice cream and pastry. I ended up signing up for the loyalty program which is free. While there in the early afternoon, a family with a young son came in for their treat, and later a solo woman. The family stayed inside to eat while the woman took hers to go. We stayed so that I could start the review and not forget to post photos. One thing to keep in mind is their operating hours will shift to close earlier at night with the darker/winter month. Glad we were able to try something new, and one that we would definitely return for more.

I've experienced Chimney Cakes in Prague so I was very hesitant by this new addition around the US but, I will say I was very impressed by the taste and flavors! I did the strawberry and Nutella with a cookie butter sauce...my mouth is watering still thinking about it! The portion threw me off because it seemed very small but I'm sure if I got ice cream it would've been more full. Either way the flavor was there and would definitely get another!

New dessert location! Very unique way to eat your ice cream. I love the cones are made fresh and it's really cool to see them get made. Everyone was very friendly and personable. You actually order yourself at a kiosk but there is someone there to help if you have questions. I went during a very very busy time so I'm not sure I can speak on the vibe. What I can say is that the line moved quickly for sure. It was delicious. The cones was warm and really reminded me of a cinnamon roll but just in the shape of a cone. For me, it was not worth paying extra for toppings bc they can only put a few pieces onto the ice cream. I did notice them put some inside the cone itself which was nice. It was $20 for our 2 cones. Not sure I can afford to come often but it was a nice treat.

Chocolate with heath bar pieces. (Minus several bites)

So good. The young lady that made our cones was so kind and helpful. The seating area is simple and clean. The ice cream cones are amazing. Highly recommend the chocolate ice cream. It had good flavor without being overly sweet. The cinnamon sugar on the cones add a great texture and flavor. Three of us spent just under $30 total. We will definitely be back.

Not what I was expecting. The cone is a donut texture and is very tasty on its own and with the variety of spreads and toppings offered. The soft serve was similar to what you get at QT, but definitely more expensive in comparison to other ice cream shops...and asking for a tip on top of that was off putting to me. The parking lot is tight, and the shop itself is small with limited seating. Fun to try once.

Cute little store with a cute concept. I really like they have different flavors but this wasn't for me. The cones are like donuts and I was not a fan. The ice cream was basic ice cream in the cone or cup. My experience wasn't bad but for me there wasn't a wow factor. The service was great. The lady who helped me was super nice and friendly even when I wanted to alter my order the last minute. I think it's fun to try and I bet a lot of people will love it. It's just not for me.

    The biscoff cone is amazing!

Overpriced soft serve. It screams tourist trap. Terrible customer service, not clean. Better places in Greenville than this for sure.

We first discovered this place on my first Yelp Elite event, and we've been coming back ever since!…read more It has quickly become one of my wife and kids' favorite spots. We stopped in again Sunday, and even though the place was BUSY, the service was still top-notch. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nobody gave off that "please don't ask me another question" busy-day energy. This time we tried the sampler with four different ice cream flavors, which is perfect when your brain says, "Just pick one," but your stomach says, "Why limit ourselves?" And then came the funniest part of the visit. She told us one of the flavors was caramelized pineapple... and somehow I heard Spider-Man. LOL. I have absolutely no idea how my brain got from caramelized pineapple to Spider-Man, but once I said it, the whole family lost it. We were all cracking up. So now, whether they like it or not, that flavor will probably forever be known as "the Spider-Man ice cream" in our house. LOL. Of course, we also had to get the Sunny Mango again. That drink is AMAZING and has officially become one of our must-orders. My daughter went with the birthday cake ice cream in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Great treats, great atmosphere, and even better people. The fact that they handled a busy Sunday this well says a lot. What started as a Yelp Elite visit has turned into one of our family's favorite places. 10/10 -- we'll definitely be back... and I'll try to listen a little harder next time they tell me the ice cream flavors. LOL.

A nice local ice cream store that's great for a family outing…read more Clare's is in a small convenient area on East North Street. This good ice cream shop is in proximity to other restaurants that's ideal for dessert after a meal. Personally, I'd go in the summer time after a haircut (Julio's best barber in Greenville). Prices aren't bad at all. In 2025, anytime you can get ice cream for well under $10 is a win in my book. Quality of ice cream is good. Not the largest variety, but they have a seasonal menu. The honey lavender flavor is one of my favorites and one that I'd get the next time I go back. My only complaint is one time I went and they closed at 8:20pm when the sign says they close at 9pm. Perhaps it was a one time thing that it happened. Every time I've been, I've consistently seen young family present with their children. If you're looking for a family orientated place with well priced ice cream, this place is for you.
