I took my partner here from Philadelphia. The line was long but that was expected. Upon ordering, we decided we wanted to bring our family cones home. In the touchscreen menu for cones to go, the image is a box that fits 4 cones and 4 side sauces. We selected four cones two sides of Nutella and two sides of raspberry. When our name was called they handed us the cones, sauce inside. No box not nothing. We asked for a bag and then explained to the worker on the screen it appeared differently. She went over to the manager, who just shook his head no. He didn't come over to talk to us or anything. The box itself was over 20 dollars. I'm in the service industry myself and was a little disappointed in how he handled the situation. The ice cream cones were delicious, I'm hoping they change that on the screen for others. read more

We went on the second day of being open. Upon arriving we found a line out the door and down the sidewalk. We jumped in. It took about an hour to get inside, and another 20 minutes to get to order. The place is modern and minimalist. A pretty simple menu, centering on their platform of a "crispy cone" which seems to be a laminated yeast dough like a danish or donut, wrapped around a mold , proofed and toasted in an electric toaster, dusted in cinnamon sugar while still hot and allowed to cool. Then you can get just a cone with a spread (Nutella, PB, chocolate etc.) a cone with ice cream, with a spread l, a drizzle and a topping, or a cone filled with fruit, a drizzle and whipped cream. Or if you want to forego a cone you can get a cup of ice cream apparently they deliver and have an app for mobile ordering. Price point is about $8-$10 each. We got our cones at the end of a long wait - again during grand opening weekend, they still have some efficiencies and training to work out but this review and rating does not reflect that. Once the newness wears off I'm sure things will get speedier and more consistent. Speaking of which, we found that between our four cones that our group ordered, there were some significant variances in consistency with amounts of ice cream, drizzles and toppings. Hope CC continues to work to teach the team these things. Overall, it was very good! The donut cone thing added a nice change to a standard waffle cone and ice cream concept. We thought the ingredients were high quality and it was delicious! The place would benefit from adding a few more tables or benches out on the sidewalk because the two little tables inside the place isn't enough space. hmmmm....how to review Crispy Cones, because I believe they ARE on to something; I just think it needs fine tuning. To those unfamiliar; Crispy Cones is an ice cream spot where they serve the ice cream in this cinnamon sugar covered dough spiral thing. It's tasty, and they get pretty adventurous with the flavors and combos and what not, but the problem is that the damn thing is just so hard to eat! It comes in this bread cone, which should really be a BOWL, (tip one Crispy Cones!), and then THAT comes in a cone anyway. The ice cream is like 5 inches out of the bread cone, which is 4 inches out of the plastic cone, and it just creates this whole precarious, melty mess. By the time you've eaten the ice cream scaffolding on top, all the ice cream is in a melted puddle at the bottom of your bread cone, which is in the tight confines of your plastic cone. I wound up basically pouring the ice cream into the bread cones that I had upturned into my hand. It was a mess. A tasty mess, but a mess nonetheless. The store itself is very nice and looks refined. There was a fair amount of indoor seating, but we took it to go. As mentioned, if they did these as BOWLS instead, even the soupy mess after the ice cream wouldn't be as big of an issue because you'd have the real estate to maneuver. I suppose it kind of defeats the purpose to have a bread bowl and have to put it in a real bowl, but so does having a bread cone in a plastic cone....*shoulder shrug emoji* It's nice, but it's gimmicky, and I see no reason to take the trip back. read more

Came here with my friends, and it was a disappointing experience. I found a hair in my ice cream, which immediately ruined it. The soft serve portions were also completely inconsistent. My cone was overloaded, while my friends had less ice cream, and theirs was already sliding off the cone when it was handed to them. The cones were sticky, with melted ice cream dripping onto the employee's hands, had to wrap mine with tissue. It looked nothing like what they've been advertising on Instagram, and there didn't seem to be any effort put into presentation. The staff appeared to be mostly high school students. There were 5-7 employees behind the counter, but many were standing around talking. The employee taking our order had an attitude and wasn't very helpful when I mentioned it was my first time visiting. My biggest concern was food safety. All of the toppings were left uncovered, and many were mixed together. I ordered Biscoff, and the employee had to pick Oreo pieces out of the container before serving it. As someone who has worked in food service and studied food safety, I found this really concerning. Overall, the store looked messy behind the counter, which honestly made me wonder if that's how a hair ended up in my ice cream. I was really disappointed, especially paying $9 for an ice cream I couldn't even finish. I considered going back in to complain, but they were about to close, so I let it go. I also noticed multiple people being turned away at the door while others were allowed in, which was confusing because it was closing time but they still allowed customers? This place has a lot of potential, but it clearly needs better employee training, cleaner food handling practices, and more attention to quality. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

It's open. Fun different type of dessert shoppe. The cones were yummy. I preferred the warm ones with the fresh fruit and toppings. The cones with ice cream are not warm but still tasty. You can make your own combos of cones, fillings, toppings, spreads...There is a few tables inside, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. read more

honestly heard this place was good. I'm shocked because when I walked in, I noticed only didn't get greeted, I'm tried saying hello before asking how to order but was cut off by an employee turning the order tablet towards me and was told to "order here" then they walked away to continue talking to other employees. After ordering, I paid $20 for two cones that were mediocre at best. The crispy portion of my cone was just a rock and inedible. I wish I spent the $20 elsewhere where I would have known I'd be getting good ice cream. Would not recommend. read more

We went to Crispy Cones on 7/8/2026 and was crowded. We were able to order a single cone with Nutella and twist ice cream. The ice cream was good but the cone was excellent. I would definitely go back just for the Cones aka chimney cakes. They offer may varieties and combinations. I also liked that you could order online at the store. read more

Its not great. Overhyped. I've had way better soft serve and donuts. The cone is flavorless and taste like an office donut that sat out all morning. & CLEAN THE PARKING LOT!!! Covered in their cone plastic cups and spoons. Looks so trashy and disgusting when you pull into the lot. Looks like garbage and takes away from the business. This place is built on hype not quality. First time at crispy cones and they did not disappoint at all, whoever made the idea of swapping a traditional ice cream for a pastry coated I cinnamon and sugar ..... this is my new fav treat for the summer and I will tell everyone to make sure they stop by at least once to get this experience. 10/10 highly recommend read more
