They have a large fenced yard where the dogs can run and they spend time playing with them. Gabi is excellent with our teenager, very receptive to Lana's needs and she & Karsten take very good care of her by providing tons of play, multiple walks and regular water breaks as needed. I love that they are very good with communication, they ask how we have trained her & use those commands and we get regular updates all day regarding how she is doing. The space is beautiful, clean and green and well-maintained. Their sweet dog Coco is an added bonus and she & Lana got along almost immediately. I highly recommend sending your pet(s) to The Bark Barn if you are in the Westerville/New Albany area. We had a typical dog incident; during that process, the owners and staff were incredible (as always)! They show respect, authenticity, action, and follow-through. This daycare is great because there aren't shared toys and extra items that often help spread normal canine viruses, etc. The concern about Kennel cough can happen with any dog anywhere because the vaccines are not 100% effective on all strings of viruses, but I will say that this daycare takes extra measures by not having shared toys that can increase this risk.

They always come home happily exhausted from the fun they've had. I also use them for boarding and have been very happy. I love that PAD is cage-free, and that Sophie and Oliver can stay together in a nice, spacious room with their own beds, blankets, and toys. The boarding cost is all-in and includes daycare so by the end of the day, the pups are worn out and ready for sleep making the "boarding" less stressful for them. I can't imagine going back to boarding where they are cooped up 24x7 except for a couple of walks each day. The team responds quickly to messages requesting updates during boarding, which is very much appreciated, and they go out of their way to post pics on Instagram so I can see Soph & Oliver while I'm away (see pics below). I do pay a few bucks extra for exit baths when they board, but it's well worth it after a week of playing ALL day. They come home fluffy, clean, and very happy after their "vacation." If you're looking for daycare or boarding, owned and staffed by dog lovers, definitely check out Play All Day. I have a daycare/boarding facility less than five minutes from my home, but I feel strongly enough about PAD that I'm happy to drive the extra 20 minutes to get there.

They were waiting for me to keep apologizing however when someone messes up your dog, there is no apology that will work, you are furious which I was. Did I flip out? Yes.....more than I would any other time, after hair grows back. The comments from the groomer were what really set me off see below 'the jokes on you....I've groomed ur dog before and you loved it" "like I said I'm sorry.... lol....okay maam These were her responses to me, verbatim. So for me to be extremely angry when I picked him up is an understatement. Now they will come back and say, I was outraged.....I was....I used profanity.......absolutely mainly because they could care less that I was extremely upset over the exact thing I had asked the not to do. I guess at the end of the day I should have known better to take him to a groomer I did not have any history with. I have been using DD for over a year now…read more They always come through on planned visits, and even on last minute emergency calls. They are that friend or family member that you know loves your pet, and would be happy to come over and take care of them. All while sharing some love. I trust them in my home unsupervised. We love the notations of how the visit went with our pets. We even had an occasion to sit down and discuss a week of multiple visits for a vacation. We just hated to board them, and no one was available. Plans freed up and our house sitter was able to come through. This does not deter from the fact that we were making plans to leave them solely in the trusted care of DD. Our house sitter was very happy that DD was able to care for the dogs twice during that week. They truly help to make your life run a bit smoother during a busy time.
