They have a large fenced yard where the dogs can run and they spend time playing with them. We seldom leave her anywhere and they texted us pictures and updates and it was obvious she was well cared for and enjoyed her stay. Gabi is excellent with our teenager, very receptive to Lana's needs and she & Karsten take very good care of her by providing tons of play, multiple walks and regular water breaks as needed. I love that they are very good with communication, they ask how we have trained her & use those commands and we get regular updates all day regarding how she is doing. The space is beautiful, clean and green and well-maintained. Their sweet dog Coco is an added bonus and she & Lana got along almost immediately. I highly recommend sending your pet(s) to The Bark Barn if you are in the Westerville/New Albany area. We had a typical dog incident; during that process, the owners and staff were incredible (as always)! They show respect, authenticity, action, and follow-through. This daycare is great because there aren't shared toys and extra items that often help spread normal canine viruses, etc. The concern about Kennel cough can happen with any dog anywhere because the vaccines are not 100% effective on all strings of viruses, but I will say that this daycare takes extra measures by not having shared toys that can increase this risk.

They have a very unique approach to doggie daycare. No cages! I was concerned at first until I saw how Christie and her staff gradually introduced other dogs to Arnold and were very aware of behaviors. I watched from a tv monitor in the lobby area. Next thing I know there are 5-7 dogs with Arnold and he was loving it. They let the dogs spend hours together the first day and today he was there a full day. I'll be boarding him overnight Friday and Saturday. The staff is very attentive to all the dogs and know how to redirect if playing gets a little escalated. Today I was working and was able to check on Arnold from my phone, watching the cams in all of the rooms. I love that he can play all day instead of being caged for 2/3 of his stay. I highly recommend CRAM to anyone who has a socialized dog, to treat them to a real play day or two. I look forward to using them more in the future!
