Their tree service experts can think on their feet and suggest very creative solutions to unique problems. In my case, I was out of town at the time of the required tree service and the trees are not easily accessible. Almost every other tree service provider indicated they had to wait till I came back to perform the work. Jesus Luna from Cristian Luna Tree Services proposed a very creative solution that would allow the work to be done within a couple days instead of waiting for me to return in 2 weeks. Paid 1800 for tree trimming and tree cutting. Never received an invoice and when I checked my credit card statement I was charged 1000 dollars extra. I contacted the owner but he was on vacation but communicated through messenger. Suppose he is going to give back my 1000 dollars next week and he did apologize for the mistake. Hope he keeps gives me back my 1000 dollars. I thought about filling fraud charges but willing to wait til next week and see what hapoens read more

Mr Luna tried to scam my 95 year old father. He quoted $1400 to remove one tree without stump grinding or haul away. After the job was underway he decided he wanted $4500 instead and upset my father enough to require my intervention. I had a heated discussion with Mr Luna and after threats of calling the police and refusing to pay the ungodly price for one tree, he decided to take the original fee discused. I have discovered this is a scam he has tried on several elderly people and he has a C- rating on BBB. Don't fall for his scam. Get everything in writing and keep him away from your elderly relatives. read more

I hired Cristian Luna Tree Service to cut and trim a tall large tree in our front yard. They well very professional and knowledgeable of what I needed done. They did an excellent job. I was looking for estimates to have 6 Live Oaks in my back yard trimmed. They responded within 30 minutes, gave me an estimate that worked for me and they went to work. It had been years since they have been trimmed. They got way up into the trees after dead branches. Sealed all cuts on major limbs and left my yard cleaner than it was when they started. Beware of Cristian Luna Tree Service especially if you are a senior citizen or a disabled veteran. He overcharged my family by almost double the average price for removing a large tall tree. He misrepresented the length of time the job would take and afterwards claimed he had not been specific. He claimed that he got the job done quicker because he had other jobs to do which is totally obtuse to the issue of the size job he claimed it would be. When confronted about his misrepresentation and the fact that his fee was exorbitant, he could not be reasoned with and he showed zero remorse and zero compassion for the hardship he has imposed. In addition, he disrespected our property by driving his truck over the lawn with a sprinkler system in ground despite ample space in the driveway and by allowing his crew to dump dirt and leaves on my lawn instead of putting that debris in the organic recycling bin which was empty and available. His crews put the huge sections of tree trunk on my lawn too far away from the curb for the city to pick them up and I had to find people to haul them away, not to mention the damage they did to the lawn. When confronted, he misrepresented where the debris had been dumped and claimed to have done it right. He promised that they would move things out of the way before cutting the tree and that nothing would be damaged, but they did not do this. He has promised to replace the damaged items, but I'm not confident that he will keep his word given everything he has done to this point. I do not recommend ever using his services, especially if you are a member of a vulnerable population. Do not believe the glowing reviews. It's questionable who wrote them, given my terrible experience with his company. read more

Contracted Cristian to do a job of tree trimming and brush clearing. I was looking at multiple contractors, he came out, initially quoted very high. I told him I already had lower quotes and had sent a previous contractor home that day while I got more quotes. Cristian assured me he was the guy for the job and he would get it done. He made a very competitive offer and 'seemed' to be a man of his word. By the end of the day, his guys started packing up and they had only cleared about 20% of the brush they had agreed to clear. He said, my guys are afraid of the snakes. My house is in the Hill Country and Cristian is running a landscaping business in the HC. He said he would come back when its colder to finish the job. He no showed last week, then today, no showed again. I called him (it's 38 degrees outside) and he once again said he can't find guys to do it bc of the snakes. Furthermore, they didn't seal any of the branches the pruned off my oak trees. End of the story, Cristian seems to be a great guy in person but he doesn't understand the business he's in. He makes promises his crew can't fulfill and he waits till the afternoon of the day he's supposed to come out to communicate he's not coming. Pay a little more and hire a contractor that honors their deals. read more

Excellent! Did a great job on all of the tree trimming. Got a quote and job done the same day. Asked for some advice on the care for a few trees. Most would just tell us to cut down, more money. However, we feel they gave us honest answers to our questions and informed us the trees were healthy and just needed a little trim. Just left my home and left it cleaner than it was when they arrived. Price was very reasonable and I highly recommend. Great job to this tree service. read more
