I would not recommend doing your training here. The instructor wastes so much time telling stories about himself that are not relevant to your learning. He spends a lot of time talking about how to get a history and uses abstract metaphors, and barely teaches actual CPR/ACLS/BLS. He also drew a lot of attention to a nurse who had the wrong AHA book and didn't have a mode of payment to buy a book from him. He drew a lot of attention to her and kept making jokes about it. Having taken various BLS CPR classes over 34 years as a healthcare provider, this was one of the best. I appreciated Michael's real life scenarios and anatomical explanations for the components of CPR. I enjoyed the pace of video, lecture and practice. I highly recommend CCTI. read more

Never use this training school the manager so call is unprofessional my husband was an a travel RT job in Santa Rosa and he had to do a class where we are from he has never been asked to purchase a textbook well when he got there they said he had too, never took the class or this so call training facility wouldn't give him a refund him being a travel and helping with Covid this school should had consider give us a refund but no they all about money but they can chub the $170 that they keep it but I can see this facility will never have good beside a Health work!!! This was a great PALS course. Context: I am a pediatric hospitalist, current NRP instructor, former PALS instructor, and also former Course Director for PALS at Seattle Children's Hospital. I currently teach residents and medical students at Kaiser Santa Rosa, and have previously taught for Stanford, University of Washington, and Baylor College of Medicine. I've taken or taught PALS dozens of times and collaborated with hundreds of instructors. Michael Germani ranks among the best. He combines great knowledge of the PALS material with a truly rich experience from the field. Additionally, he maintains an avid curiosity for subtle points in pediatric critical care. Last year I took BLS at CCTI and I have just completed both the 3 day ECG course (recommended prior to taking ACLS) and the 2 day ACLS course for nursing students. After spending 5 of the last 11 days with Michael (owner/instructor), I can confidently report that he is awesome. He is lively, engaged, full of stories, and seemed happy to answer all of our questions. I deeply appreciated all of his analogies and relevant cases that he shared with us. His knowledge of the material is extensive and he has the unique gift of being able to share his knowledge with newbies in a way that is clear and graspable. I am looking forward to taking his 12 lead course and would probably sign up for anything he offered in the future because I find his teaching style so enjoyable. Even though he has lead the same courses a gazillion times, he brings great enthusiasm and passion to his classroom. A highlight of the ACLS course was the use of his brand new wifi enabled CPR dummies. Great place for training of any type. I took my PALS certification here. Michael is very knowledgeable and makes something I really don't like doing more pleasant. He lets you actually do hands on and for people like me it makes the real scenario much less nerve racking! Relaxed class. I'll be taking other courses through them in the future. Excellent facility-highly recommend! Michael the owner/instructor presents the material in an engaging, professional and concise manner. He's incredibly knowledgeable about current AHA Guidelines and has a palpable love of the material. Codes are practiced in real time and you're given the opportunity to practice the skills on the mannequin. He also allows us to assign ourselves to positions within the mega code team based on our experience and skills. He presents the material in a way that allows you to take concise yet comprehensive notes, which you can use during the written exam along with the book, per the new AHA guidelines. I found out about him through my clinical instructor and ever since I attended one of his classes, I will NOT go to a different facility to renew my certificates.
