From the phone call to set up the appointment, to picking up the contrast for the test, to the exam itself, the service, professionalism and respect that was shown from all the people with whom I interacted was first-rate. When you're getting an unfamiliar exam, it's nice to have people put you at ease. The facility is easy-to-get-to, super clean (VERY important to me!), and there was a nice private room where you can change and lock up all your personal belongings. The exam itself was easy, and not like what I thought. It wasn't a complete chamber, but it wasn't as loud as what I thought CT scanners would be. Again, this piece of equipment was more like a donut. Mmmm. Donuts. I wish I could remember the name of the person who helped me with the exam. She was so professional, friendly, and kind. It made the entire process, including the IV, more pleasant for me. I truly appreciate it. And to top it all off, three days later, I received a thank you card in the mail that was signed by two people from Suburban Imaging. You don't see that every day from healthcare facilities!

    BEWARE! I was told upfront that the charge for a calcium…read morescan was $175.00 and that my insurance would not pay for this scan. I paid $175 for the service at the time of my appointment in November 2024. A few weeks later Rayus submitted a claim to my insurance company for $531.12, which was denied but paid by my FSA account. I never provided nor authorized Rayus to contact my insurance - why would I - I paid for the service at the time of the appointment. After many, many frustrating phone calls to Rayus the charge to my FSA account was eventually reversed. I still dont know why Rayus charged an additional $531.12. When I questioned this no one at Rayus could tell me what the charge was for. Then in Feb 2025, I received a check from Rayus for $531.12. I have not cashed the check because I am not due this money. I have made many attempts to contact Rayus customer service to try to resolve this and return their check. Then in May 2025 I received a letter from a collection agency stating I owe $531.12. I called the collection agency on 5/18 and 5/29 and explained this mess and also told them I have an uncashed check from Rayus made payable to me for the amount they are stating I owe. The collection company reps were understanding but said they said they cant resolve the matter because no one from Rayus is following up with them. I don't know how a company like Rayus stays in business. They are not ethical. And their customer service is a joke. Beware!

    Kylie Kasel met me in person. She is very personable and knowledgeable…read more One thing we discussed was how Tinnitus can be detrimental to a person's well being. Come to find out, she and her receptionist also have it. She confirmed it is a situation with the brain not receiving the proper input. Therefore, sounds, such as hissing, (mine), thumping and others, are the results from it. I was happy to find such a wonderful person that takes my senior Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Plus insurance. She helped me select the hearing aids that will work best for me. They have in ear and over the ear styles. Since my ear canal is so small, I selected the ones for over the ear. What I liked about this is, I had choices of color as well as recharge or batteries. I did not mind the testing. This was only my second time to be tested. Kylie found that both ears have hearing loss and are around the same number on the chart. The only thing I might suggest is to have a small pillow for a person's back. After receiving my hearing aids, next week, in three weeks, I will go so she can determine if I need adjustments. I'm excited about this whole experience because I have a friend, who also wears hearing aids. She told me that they have helped her with Tinnitus. Kylie confirmed around 60% sufferers have improved life when wearing them. She also understood how it doesn't help to turn up the volume because we don't hear words properly. I'm also happy that I can turn off the captions. Even though, it was an appointment, I found it purely enjoyable because I felt valued and I like Kylie and her receptionist.
