I went back 7 days later to be seen again for a follow up to the cream and was charged for another office visit. When I called to find out why I was billed for the first visit (should have been preventative) and why was I charged full price for the follow up, I had to make repeated calls. When calling the main line, most of the time it goes to voicemail and they may or may not call you back. When I finally reached someone, they said they had to have billing call me back. After multiple follow up calls, I was told the first visit was diagnostic so can't be billed as preventative and the second visit required another exam so wasn't considered follow up. The exam was all of 2 seconds of the Dr seeing things were worse and gave me a shot to minimize symptoms. They said I was examed again and it had to be billed as such and not a follow up. I will not be going back not only because I feel like I was unfairly charged but also because trying to get anyone on the phone was extremely difficult. I will stick with park Nicollet.

When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

Online through my account they allowed me to book with an MD I hadn't seen before but figured it meant that was okay since it would filter with who popped up based on my specifications. Received an email confirmation for my appointment. I guess same day they had called from a random number and let me know they cancelled my appointment. Issue is, I don't check my voicemail from random numbers. I showed up and they didn't seem to care that I didn't receive the notification that they cancelled due to the provider I booked with online not taking new patients. Why allow someone to book with a provider that isn't taking new patients?? No email or text or anything... very disappointing. Again, this is more of a "my fault" situation, but the customer service aspect of the situation was very underwhelming. Probably won't be back and will be going elsewhere.

I took my dog, Decker, back to the clinic after a month to have his allergy testing done. Every one…read moreof the employees are so welcoming and caring for Decker. His allergy testing took about a half an hour to complete and I waited in my car in the parking lot while he was getting tested. After the testing, they took the time to go over the results with me in depth and concocted his own personalized micro dose of drops for us to give him twice daily to help fight those allergens. He was a little stoned when he came out of the testing, and they offered to help get him in the car for me since he's a big boy! Decker ended up not needing any help and is happily resting at home. We are looking forward to our follow-up appointment in 3-4 months from now!
