Charming modern coffee house with the most delicious baked goods made in house. I ordered the Coconut Cream Cold brew and it was light, refreshing with a hint of cream. Also ordered the Ham/Gruyere croissant and a Danish with a cream cheese and raspberry preserve pillow. These were fantastic, buttery and a perfect addition to a stroll along the lake. Parking was easy to find either on the street or the lot across the street. They are open daily from 7:30-3p- 10/10, check them out!

Adorable bakery and coffee shop in Grand Marais! I was actually heading towards the donut shop but saw the variety of baked goods in the window and thought I would give this shop a try since I hadn't been in here before. I AM SO GLAD I DID!! I ordered a latte and the carrot cookie for my husband & I got myself a caramel roll. The caramel roll was HUGE! I got full 2/3 way through but I'm no quiter so you can bet I hung out until my plate was clean! It had more of a butterscotch flavor than caramel but delicious nonetheless and sooo fluffy and not hard at all. My husband enjoyed his coffee but was RAVING about the carrot cookie. He doesn't typically like frosting so I was a bit worried (it's a bit like an oatmeal creme pie but with carrot cake cookie) but he said it was the perfect ratio of cookie to frosting. He let me have "one bite only" and made me instantly regret only ordering one. I would agree it was a perfect ratio and had incredible packed flavor that really does taste like carrot cake!

    1/3 of a carmel roll.

This place is awesome. Super cool decor and legit baked goods, coffee, sandwiches. Had the Carmel roll and picture below is about 1/3 of original size of roll. I tore into it before photo. Great stuff here!

Can you give a restaurant 100 stars? Great addition to Grand Marais. Truly delicious bakery. Everything we tried was top notch. Amazing.

Love, love, love this cute bakery! There's a variety of delicious pastries and desserts. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. The decor is elegant and cozy - you can definitely get comfortable here. Highly recommended and we will be back the next time we are up north!

Excellent drinks and cute space. My partner got the mocha and he said that it was perfectly mixed and delicious. I got the iced matcha and it was the perfect balance of sweetness and matcha bitterness. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Amazing new bakery in the spot that had nothing in it for a long time. My first stop was after they've been open for 4 days and I got one of their fresh baguettes. It was very dense and wholesome in a very nice baguette to accompany my walk around lake Superior. I will be back again and can't wait to try everything on the menu they have nice places to sit lots of desserts and lots of nice coffee options.

Tried Crosby Bakery for the first time this weekend and loved it! We had an artichoke croissant, almond croissant, and a caramel roll -- everything was fresh and delicious. The building is brand new, very clean, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outside, just be aware that the local birds are very bold -- one even landed on my husband's leg! Not the bakery's fault, just something to keep in mind. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, and we'll definitely be back.

Omg the best baked good in a whole. They had this cranberry bread to die for. It was so good. I can't wait to try it with an actual sandwich like a turkey with som good spread. It's a dram I am having. The croissant. Was so flakey definitely done right with all the layers of butter goodness. And I got a scone and it was so yummy it was maple. I was in the north . Needed to have everything maple. Definitely a Great spot and I think they serve coffee and more. I just went for the bread and ended up with. 3 things. lol. Was so excited forgot to take pictures

Carrot cake cookie, cold brew, cranberry wild rice bread

The carrot cake cookies are SOOO good! The cookie is soft, with just a little crunch on the edges & the frosting in the middle is the perfect amount! The cranberry wild rice bread is also fantastic! I wish I would have bought more than one loaf! We enjoyed the lemon bars & cold brew too. Everything in the case looked delicious, I wish we would have been in the area longer to be able to try more!

The coffee is excellent, especially the lattes, which are incredibly smooth and rich in flavor. The maple latte is my go to and honestly perfection. The shop itself has such cozy, welcoming vibes. The staff is genuinely friendly to both visitors and regulars, which makes the experience feel warm and relaxed. Service is quick but never rushed. There isn't a ton of seating, but it's a fantastic place to grab a coffee before heading out on a scenic drive. They also sell artwork, apparel, stickers, coffee beans, and other fun local items, which adds to the charm. Overall, amazing coffee, kind people, and one of those places that makes a North Shore trip even better.

Next time I would order the vanilla latte that my partner got as I could taste the coffee more. But I highly recommend getting their light roasted coffee beans from Peru as that has been my go to light roasted bean for making espresso shots to pour over a cup of hot oat milk and vanilla infused honey. The combination of all three ingredients creates an amazing latte that's nutty but not astringent from the beans, creamy and complimenting the nuttiness in the coffee is the oat milk, and sweetness along with a smooth after taste from the honey coating your throat. *Fika also has a website online that will ship coffee beans to you.*

I love the quaint aesthetic and furniture, the ample seating, the friendly baristas, the inviting atmosphere, the drinks, and the baked goods. The croissants (Saturdays only) and the blueberry ginger loaf (gluten free) are TO DIE FOR. Seriously, so yummy, I didn't even know the loaf was gluten-free the first time I got it.. I would love to know the recipe! As for their drinks, I usually get an Americano which is consistently good. But I've also gotten a latte and mocha (made with real chocolate) before and they were also wonderful. Best of all, all proceeds from their sales go towards supporting the women's shelter. What's extra cool is that it's inside a beautiful church with beautiful stained glass windows and the employees are actually volunteers who give their time and the profits go to the church to be used for the community (apparently they're building a youth community center in town). I don't go to church, but it was so peaceful being there. It's definitely an experience--not your typical coffeeshop visit. I wish we had a church-coffeeshop-bakery all in one where I live. My only complaint is, okay two actually: 1) have a plastic lid that covers your baked goods from the flies 2) please don't play the same playlist--even if it was pretty music--every day; I was there every day for a week and was almost going out of my mind, haha.

The cafe had better vibes for chatting rather than for working / studying. I was hoping there would be more of a baked goods selection (they seem to carry the Donut Run's baked goods sometimes), but when I got there later in the afternoon, there was only one type of cookie left and it wasn't very appealing to me. I ordered a decaf gingerbread latte (seasonal special) which, aside from being a little too sweet for my liking, was a good latte in other regards.

So I was very excited to see that the Thunder Bay tradition of very cozy coffee places where you could come and study, read or catch up with friends still existed. The waitress at the counter was very friendly and very professional. She told us that we could go sit down anywhere and she'd bring our drinks out to us. I ordered a vanilla cafe latte. It came out in a nice large mug and was really tasty, better than what I've had at Starbucks and Second Cup. They had a large selection of other hot drinks and cold drinks, and some tasty looking snacks on the counter (which I proudly managed to ignore this time around). I had a medium latte, which was priced around $3.50. The decor was very nice and relaxing. I loved the warm dark colors that made for a really nice, seclusive environment. My only complaint is that there were only three booths in which to sit at. All three were occupied when we arrived; two of which by one individual each. It'd be a lot nicer if they had a couple more booths on the opposite wall since I much preferred sitting at them than sitting at the individual tables. With really wide table-tops, it looks like an awesome place to go to get some work done without interruption. I'll definitely go back here next chance I get.
