UPDATE AS OF 4/7: James did contact me on 3/29 and was very…read moresympathetic to my experience with Ad Fast Transport LLC, which he told me he would hold accountable to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He also offered to reimburse me for my Uber expenses, which I also appreciated. Overall, the experience still wasn't the best but I can appreciate the apology and actions that came afterwards from the Car Carriage. **Full transparency: I have updated my review from two stars to four following the update.** This was my first time using an auto transport company and I decided to use the Car Carriage based on a solid review from a family friend. During my initial consultation via online system and call, the company was very responsive. James was a great help to understand what the process would be like and get an accurate look at the total costs. I also appreciated that I did not have to pay anything upfront until the car was delivered. The Car Carriage is based in Texas and they use contractors around the country to pick up your car. The contractor I used, Ad Fast Transport LLC is based in Maryland and dealing with them was the worst experience. First off, leading up to my pick-up date, I heard nothing from Ad Fast. The Car Carriage provided their contact information so I reached out and a representative named Josy picked up. Josy seemed very unorganized and unprofessional during our call and had no idea when the driver would arrive to pick up my car. This was a problem because I had a flight back to Maryland in less than four days and needed my car picked up before I left. I had to consistently call Josy to get an idea of when the driver could pick up my car. It was originally scheduled for pick up on 3/15 but it wasn't picked up until 3/17. However, this wasn't the biggest issue. The biggest issue was when I recieved a text from Josy asking me if I could meet the driver 25 minutes west from the original pickup location in a very rural area. I was very skeptical of this unprofessionalism, however, like I said before, I needed my car gone before my flight. So I agreed and drove to the location. The driver was very sweet about it all but I learned he was planning to come to the original location but was told by Josy not to. Getting back to my original location was a pain as temperatures were in the single-digits and there was no ubers or lyfts available until an hour later so I had to wait in a local motel until I could find a driver to take me home. My car was safely delivered to the contacting company but I was out $52 from the Uber and had to wait an hour in an unfamiliar part of town. When I asked Josy, how I would get home once I gave my car, her only response was "I don't know." When I reached back out to James and the Car Carriage for a response, I have yet to receive an email as of 3/24. There is no accountability and the lack of communication from all involved parties has been disheartening and frustrating to say the least. Luckily, my car was delivered safely to the listed location in a timely fashion on 3/21. However, this experience has been so traumatizing and horrific that I would not recommend the Car Carriage or any of its contractors to anyone.

DOUBLE BROKER ALERT…read more Rate did not match what customer actually had a contract with them. We verified directly with the customer at the pickup. The Car Carriage LLC refused to fix the issue and instead threatened us with negative if we didn't pick up the car, or pay $300 to avoid it. Unprofessional, dishonest, and a waste of time. Carriers beware--high risk of scam and double brokerage.

I purchased the car and some unseen events took place on my drive home. To be honest this is nothing the dealership could have seen in advance. I'm extremely big on how people handle situations and not what originally happens and these guys handled everything better then one could expect. They showed extreme integrity and got my car dialed in quickly giving me every update along the way. They even went as far as to drop it back off to me with a full tank of gas. I can't say enough good things about Seth and Raul's dedication to customer service. If your looking for a respectable place with people who actually do what they say go here! Also side note I went in pre approved and Raul was able to beat my already low rate.

My worst car buying experience yet. I have purchased over…read more100 cars in my lifetime, and I can absolutely say that my experience with Driven Autoplex stands out as one of the WORST. There were two good parts. First, I am pretty happy with the vehicle and, while not exactly as described, the car is in good shape and was mostly represented accurately (I was purchasing the car from another state, so relying primarily on the word of the dealer and their descriptions and photos). Secondly, I worked with the salesman, Chance and he was responsive during the sale and helpful. Unfortunately, the good was far overshadowed by the bad. During the purchase discussion I asked Raul, the Finance Manager a direct question about the state of the car's title. In my state if you have a title that is not endorsed by the dealer, the sales tax is much lower. Raul assured me that the title was a "pass through" and as such would not result in me paying a huge amount of sales tax. Now I should be clear, that I have purchased a number of cars through dealers, and I have always asked about the title condition, and legally the dealer should endorse the title, however for whatever reason Raul committed to the title not being endorsed. I committed to the purchase based on the information provided by Raul and arranged for the car to be shipped to me. A few weeks later the title showed up in the mail, and contrary to what I was told by Raul, it was not a "pass through" title. For me, this meant that the sales tax increases from $90 to about $1,000. And not only was the title endorsed by Driven, but it was processed by the dealer 2 weeks prior to my purchase, clearly showing that the commitment that Raul made was completely false. When I called he was very defensive and rude. He threatened me by saying that he "knew where I lived" and I "should be careful." I am not sure why he would have even considered saying such a thing to a customer, but it was clearly confrontational, and completely unprofessional. To Raul's credit he did call me back later, apologized and told me that he did recall making the commitment, and that he would talk to his Title Clerk, Florence and that she would take care of getting a duplicate title. I did hear from Florence about a week later, and she let me know that "getting a duplicate title would be just too much work," and was not going to happen. I then spent 3 weeks trying to contact Raul (who was really skilled at dodging me) to see what he would do to make this right, since he knew he'd made the commitment to me. Finally he told me that his owner Kevin would talk to me. After a few days and several texts, I did finally get Kevin on the phone who denied that Raul ever made a commitment regarding the title, even though he was not present during the initial discussion. Kevin was very defensive and did not want to hear my side of the story, nor even consider any fair resolution. After dealing with Kevin, I can certainly see why Raul is comfortable using misleading sales tactics. It is clearly condoned by Kevin the owner of Driven Autoplex. I can only imagine that if the owner is okay with a certain misleading approach, the management will follow their example. When I told Kevin that I planned on leaving a negative review regarding Driven Autoplex, he also used threats of retaliation. That cemented my commitment to leave this review. Bottom Line: I had the "pleasure" of giving Driven Autoplex $14,000 of my hard-earned cash only to be misled, lied to, bullied, and then threatened. I would advise anyone working with them to proceed with caution and get details in writing.

After revising my move 2x with him at some point my refrigerator, washer and dryer were all removed from my move. I was also reassured by Tommy that my move would be fully handled through them and they would not "sub-contract" any part of my move. When the crew showed up at my house they were in a unmarked 26" truck with a different company name on the side. Half way through loading up my belongings, the move manager on site stopped me to take the last part of my payment. I was quoted $4,000 for my move but all of the sudden it bloomed into $8,000. When I asked, the guy said they had to box 2 items for me, move my refrigerator (charged me to take my front door off and disassemble the unit to get it out of my house), my washer and dryer. I was also informed that this would take up more room on the truck and that they could not stack anything on top of them so I had to pay a little extra there as well. They also picked up my motorcycle which was on the list but said there was an additional $750 charge for it being on the truck for "storage". I had to move so I paid the bill. They told me that my items would arrive in the last week of January 2026 to the first week of February 2026. After completing loading everything up the manager pulled me aside and told me it was customary for me to tip the two guys that did all the work $400 for all their hard work. I don't keep cash on me but I did have a little bit in my car for my 28 hour drive to Montana with my two boys. When I gave them $20 each, they looked at me and then began saying something in Spanish to each other so I couldn't understand it. I'm assuming they were mad that it was only $20. Fast forward 2 months later and I still hadn't received my items and after speaking with them on multiple occasions, they had multiple excuses why they were 2 months late. When they finally showed up, the gentleman that delivered my good was once again in a vehicle that had a completely different company name on it. I asked him if he worked for the company and he politely told me no. Then asked why and I explained that they had told me my goods would always be with them and they would not sell off my job. He did a great job and unloaded my items into my temporary storage unit in less than an hour all by himself. The team of 2 back in Texas took almost 3 hours to load the truck. While talking to him, I noticed that my washer and dryer were stacked on top of each other as well as things being stacked on top of my fridge. I asked him if he loaded it or them and he told me that they did. I find it funny that it was okay they were stacked in his truck to come here but I had to pay extra since they couldn't be stacked on top of each other in Texas. I was also informed by the move manager that I would be receiving a refund of an undisclosed amount for the delay in getting my items here. I also found that I was missing a few lawn items, was charged for 40 boxes but only received 27 when it arrived along with few other things. For the last 3 weeks I have been calling them and leaving voicemails for someone to call me back but I have not gotten any response. Today, I informed them if they didn't call back I would be reaching out to a lawyer. Please take you time in searching for a mover and no matter how in dire need you are, DO NOT USE these people. They are an untrustworthy business and need to be shut down. Looking them up on the DOT site, they are marked as not being a broker. Evidently that was wrong because they did exactly what they said they wouldn't, sell my load off to multiple companies.

We know for sure because we have been communicating with 1 person in particular and their name is a five star review. Wow! The absolute worst company ever. They answered the phone and communicated very well when they were trying to get our deposit of $1,200 which was the highest deposit of all the moving companies. They got us to pay this because they quoted us the cheapest quote of only $2,300. ...BUT when they showed up, they changed the quote to $3,800 on top of the $1,200 deposit totaling $5,000. We declined due to this new increase of $2,700. They refused to give us back our $1,200 deposit. We literally had another company come and do the job same day for way less. The day of they were extremely rude vs when they were trying to get our deposit. The yelp reviews are real. These Google reviews are so fake!

While not the cheapest option out there, their team was reliable and professional-- and that made the experience so much better. It started with a phone call for details (shipping origin, delivery location, type of car, etc.), and we could tell James knew what he was doing and cared that his team did a good job. There was a 3 day delivery window, and I got a call from the transport driver updating me that the car had been picked up the first day of that window. And then the car was delivered in less than 4 hours! There's an inspection before and after delivery, and the car was unscathed-- hooray! I'm really happy with their team and service :D They accept cash or credit card (for $50 extra). If you're looking for help moving your car to another city, check them out-- I'm definitely going to give them a call next time I need a transport team!

The difference this time was that it was my son's brand-new car, and I was very concerned. I wanted an enclosed trailer. Initially, I received a lot of quotes, and Number One Auto Transport was one of those brokers. In the past, I've received quotes, executed shipments, and things didn't go as expected. However, Rob, who I booked with at Number One, did everything he said he would. I was a little apprehensive because it was my son's car, and I had convinced him to fly home and let me ship it for safety reasons. The car was picked up on time and delivered two days earlier than promised. One thing I really appreciate about Number One Transport is their attention to detail. I wanted to double-check, recheck, and triple-check everything, and they accommodated every single request. If you want peace of mind, I highly recommend Number One Auto Transport. They do what they say they're going to do, and that's the most important thing!
