We wanted to take a moment to share our sincere gratitude and enthusiastic compliments for Dillon…read moreMcElroy's exceptional project management and maintenance work on the turn‑around of our property at 3633 Candlebrook Lane. Dillon has been phenomenal. His communication, clarity, and follow‑through were consistently excellent. He is incredibly customer‑focused, proactive, and truly goes above and beyond in every aspect of his work. Throughout the entire process, we felt fully informed--whether it was timelines, progress updates, or unexpected issues that came up. Any time we reached out, Dillon responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. Honestly, this has been the best turn‑around manager experience we've ever had. Dillon is an outstanding maintenance manager, and we wanted to make sure his exceptional performance and dedication were recognized. We are extremely satisfied and deeply appreciative of the work he put into bringing this property back to life.

From the day we moved in, our experience has been disappointing. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. ( we are very clean people three of those zevos have been there for 5 days, one I just changed yesterday.)

Karen McManuis represented us as buyers. She consistently made us feel as though we were the only…read moreclients she was working with (even though I know that's not the case). She was personable, down-to-earth, took the time to show us things that we needed to be mindful of in considering purchasing a home, and was patient with our decisions - even when we flip-flopped. Karen's knowledge of San Antonio's neighborhoods and the fact that she always took the time to educate herself in advance of showings meant that she was able to provide us with invaluable insights. All of this went toward making sure that we wound up in the home that was right for us. We are so thankful for this! Karen trusted us to make the right decision, and took her time to work on our behalf. She was fast, precise, and an absolute pleasure to work with. On top of this, she had an intimate understanding of the VA's lending requirements, which was incredibly important to us. At every step, we knew that Karen McManuis was acting in our best interests. If we buy another home in the future, I hope Karen is available to help us out. We'll be sending business her way. Thank you, Karen!

We started our journey with Terry of building a home 14 months ago and his commitment to my family and I never wavered once and is actually stronger today than the first day he became our realtor. Terry was with us for EVERY appointment form signing contract, designing our home, picking out accessories (side note: Fellas if you need a teammate to help balance your spouse with picking items for your home call Terry now. He helped me keep my wife from going crazy with upgrades and at the same time helped us build a beautiful home with everything we really wanted) He went to numerous appointments with the builder Including every walk-through. He meet me at the house countless times to check the construction work and when things went wrong Terry was in immediately communication with the construction manager and sales representatives. He even worked with our mortgage broker to ensure everything was ready for closing. Not once did Terry offer guidance that was not in the best interest of my family and I, even though it never benefited him. Terry was always available for us no matter the time or day. He's always honest and forthright, no games! If you think you don't need a realtor because you're building a new home you're making a mistake! I could continue this review for pages.  Bottom line Terry is the realtor that you want by your side for all of your real estate needs. Terry is not just our realtor he has become our friend, there will never be a need for us to look for another realtor.
