I have been doing CrossFit for almost five years now and have traveled around the US visiting CrossFit gyms at almost every location I've been to. I can say, without a doubt, CrossFit 719 is one of, if not THE best CrossFit gyms I have ever been to. Every time I come into town I am welcomed not only by the coaches but also the fellow gym members. The community immediately accepts me, cheers me on during the WODs, offers help if I need and are just overall amazing. Every time I leave Colorado Springs, I head home feeling better about various movements ranging from Olympics lifts to mobility and more... I feel stronger, more confident about my abilities. The programming at CrossFit 719 is top notch - you can tell serious thought and planning goes into it. And all the coaches provide different techniques to help you improve. In addition to their normal CrossFit WODs, they offer yoga, gymnastics, Olympic lifting and more... not only do you get better with each WOD but they offer you classes to help you get better at specific skills. What more could you ask for from a gym?? I cannot say enough good things about this gym... so I'll just end with - I would recommend CrossFit 719 to anyone visiting or living in Colorado Springs... my love of this gym (and the state of Colorado in general) has me seriously considering moving here. read more

This crossfit is AMAZING!!!! Dropped in as I was passing through Colorado Springs and was definitely impressed with the facility and the coaches. The owner Josh is very down to earth and approachable and will do his best to accommodate oncoming and established athletes. If lived in Colorado Springs (I wish I did!), I would definitely be part of this Box. read more

Josh and the staff at 719 were great and very welcoming. The facility although smaller than I'm used to was well equipped and the locker room was a great and something we don't have at our box. Being a visitor I was very comfortable with the staff and my fellow Crossfitters. All in all a great experience and one I would definitely repeat! Although I would go better prepared as in better hydrated and better adjusted to the altitude hopefully. Wow the altitude really took a toll on me. read more

I began CrossFit at 719 about a month ago. Their "On-Ramp" program was really helpful for beginning at this type of exercise. I never leave a WOD thinking, "Boy, I sure didn't get much out of that" and rather feel challenged and accomplished each time I go there. The coaches are top notch and provide helpful advice and direction during each WOD. I am glad that I started going here and feel at home here. They have a pretty decent locker room with showers and also convenient WOD times and open gym hours. read more

I am new to the area from Dallas. I have been only been doing Crossfit for a few months but had to take a break due to the move to Colorado. I looked up local Crossfit gyms and CF719 was the closest and cheapest so i figured i'd go give them a shot. Upon walking into the doors I was greeted by what seemed to be two female coaches and they were both very rude and unnaproachable. While I was talking to one, the other seemed to be eyeing me and confirming that she was probably better at exercising. I proceeded to work out there, and with very bad instructions they led me through a workout. The gym is entirely too small, and while i was working out, people were warming up in my line of travel. Also, while i was working out, the female coaches and other male coaches were in the "waiting" area texting and sitting down. I felt no push from the coaches, therefore my experience was bad. So to give them the benefit of the doubt i decided to come in at 6pm time frame and do a workout another day. That was probably the biggest mistake of my life. The gym was OVERLY crowded and there isnt enough equiptment for everyone. Also, the gym seems to be in the control of a bunch of immature 20-25 year olds who sit around and text while clients are exercising. The owner with red hair named john came and introduced himself and that was the only one that was friendly. I felt very bad for him because out of the 4 "coaches" that were on shift, they were all at one point sitting around and cheering us on from the couches. Are the coaches or cheerleaders? The bathroom was kept very clean and that was the only thing that was clean. The gym had dog hair everywhere and i could hear dogs barking through out my workout. The gym had more of a hangout vibe then a place i want to exericse in. Take my advice, this gym is not a crossfit gym you want to attend. Since then i have visited 3 others and have had better experiences. CF719 is an open gym, so you can walk in and workout whenever you want, which i thought was kind of clever because i never know when my husband will come home to take care of our children. But to my despair, the open gym environment created more of a hectic feeling, and had no sense of structure. This is the cheapest gym in town, but you also pay for what you get. Terrible gym, terrible coaches that were also rude, and not enough equiptment. read more
