Yesterday, I visited the gym and showed a lot of interest in a membership. I mentioned that I…read morewould love to sign up but I was worried about doing so without bringing in my disabled son first to make sure that they accommodate his special needs. I was then directed to speak with Chet, the general manger for this facility. After speaking with him, he proceeded to argue with me over the phone about why it would be impossible for my son to visit first before signing up. This was highly concerning to me as it was a real unknown whether or not my son would do well in their environment. I would heavily caution parents of disabled children from using this facility given what I know now.

It's wild noone has reviewed Crunch yet. I joined from the get-go and split my time between Crunch…read moreand another gym. I'll start off with what I don't like about Crunch: -They don't have disinfectant wipes to clean the machines. They only have paper towels and spray bottles -The locker room is small and the lockers aren't cleaned often enough -The trainers are annoying. Most aren't friendly Now, the reason Crunch gets 5-stars is because it's graded on a curve; they charge $9.99 a month which is ridiculously cheap. They have a lot of benches and dumbbells which is covenant. In general they have most of the machines I like to use and they're good at fixing any machine that breaks. There are a ton of cardio machines. The good thing about the men's locker room is it's mostly clean (minus the lockers, as mentioned). The showers are usually pretty clean and the bathroom area isn't bad for all the traffic they get. Front-desk staff (the non-trainers) range from nice to ignoring you. Not a big deal. The gym-goers are mostly younger people (that makes me sound old) and pretty much everyone is polite. It's seriously amusing seeing when any of them take selfies using their cameras and tripods in the class fitness room. I'm trying to think of what I'm missing... the place isn't bad. The parking lot of often full and I avoid the super busy times but even when the lot is packed I can still get a workout in without much waiting for machines.

Awesome gym! Definitely a place for everyone, no matter your previous experience or current level…read moreof fitness. A must try if you're in the area!

Glad to write a first review for Crossfit Tripoint. I usually "exercise" at home or at a different…read moregym but I wasn't seeing results. I decided to try this place after reading about it online and new year new you blah blah - It was great! Im no expert on the programs they offer but it seems like you start with their program called on-ramp. It is 3 sessions that are sort of a personal training sessions (not sure if it is always 1:1 but mine was) where you are shown how to do some different moves properly and safely and other stuff about how the workouts operate. then you do a mini workout where you practice the moves in a timed workout and he helps correct your form if it is off. So it is very worth the cost! (IMO) It was very educational and helpful (and inspiring.) Then this way you can enter the classes and know more what is going on. Now online it said search for onramp classes and i was mildly confused and didnt see them so i emailed and Alex got back to me right away and we scheduled no prob. I'm so glad I tried this! My perception of the whole Crossfit thing with the strong insanely fit people and the big weights was very intimidating to me. But Alex the owner at Crossfit Tripoint was very knowlegable, reasonable, down to earth, welcoming, professional, helpful - his gym is great and the experience was really great so far. He explained each move and how to modify the move if I was unable to do the goal weight/method of the move, he showed, like beginner, intermediate modified moves. So everyone does what is best for them and I didn't feel that I was beyond my skill level or like failing or embarassed. (Like no way I have even done a pull up in my life I don't think and still no.) I wasn't able to meet many other people since I wasn't in a regular workout class yet but in passing the members were very friendly! As for the reaults that I wasn't seeing at my gym (me losing 50 lbs) well.... it has only been two workouts here but I felt really really great after my introductory workouts so far. It felt tired but great after the workouts and really enjoyed. This review sounds so fake - first review - I am not, like, this guys sister or something. Wish I could say something funny but nothing was funny - just great. Don't be shy just check it out (if you want) and best wishes to Alex and the Crossfit Tripoint people and their amazing gym! Best wishes to me losing weight and best wishes to you too gentle reader.
