They aren't afraid to tell you that you are doing it wrong and they make sure to show you the correct way so you don't hurt yourself. The members are all very nice and approachable. I have never gotten the vibe that someone feels superior. The first time going in can be intimidating but once you get your first workout out of the way, you'll want to go back as soon as possible. I've been going to this box for about 1.5 years and have seen tremendous gains.

After watching the owner try to sleep with nearly every girl in his demographic and receiving and hearing uncomfortable and inappropriate comments from coaches, I decided to quit. I had been warned by other friends to be very aware of my bank accounts when doing this because the owner was supposedly notorious for still charging people after they left. I had to message the owner 3 times in one week before even getting a response telling me he would cancel my membership, and then still got charged that next month. I called him and he immediately apologized and refunded me, but the same thing happened the next month.

So i decided to join her one day as her plus one. First off, know that you have to drive all the way to the back of the plaza to find it. But there's plenty of parking. The studio is run by two nice trainers: Sally and Jordan. They are very open and all about helping you. They tell you their story and listen to yours. It's all about setting goals and appreciating the little accomplishments. First thing when you walk in is that it's one big room. Not little alcoves here and there. Just a huge mat for you to get sweaty on. I did notice there's not one mirror- which is quite interesting. There is complementary child care and very nice locker rooms. They are like to do one on one meetings to check in with you every other week. Their hours are a bit wonky so check the class schedule each week before coming in. But what I like most about this place is that if you can't do a conventional push up, they find another way to get your body to work the same muscles. My advice? Come try it out!

Everyone that goes there is awesome and encouraging. With some other boxes around here, you're met with an elitist attitude. I won't go so far as to name names, but some of the people that go here travel from the Palmyra area because of the elitists from the other box. The facility is large and clean....don't be fooled by the exterior. The class sizes are kept to smaller groups, so you get more attention. If you can't do the WOD because of some injury or you just can't do some of the exercises, they will accommodate with alternatives. The price is really great compared to other CF boxes...starting at $10 a session. Granted, it isn't "globo-gym" priced, but you basically get a personal trainer working with you on every session. I have several friends that signed up for the YMCA when they were doing discounts for family memberships and they have gone a handful of times. So that $200 unlimited membership is probably going to cost them more in the long run and I guarantee they aren't getting a workout like we do. CrossFit itself is just amazing. You work hard, there's no doubt...it's not for everyone. I've been going here since it's grand opening last year and have seen some serious gains. I started out barely being able to do 20 consecutive squats and not a single pull-up to now deadlifting 255lbs and 10 consecutive strict pull-ups. I didn't really intend to lose any weight but I've dropped 2 waists sizes and have gained quite a bit of tone and muscle definition. Downsides? I had to buy a lot of new clothes. It's addicting so I find myself going to a WOD instead of mowing the lawn. You risk becoming a CrossFit Cult member.

However, F45 has changed my lifestyle: mentally, physically, emotionally, health, and much more. F45 is a team training environment and every workout varies (which makes it fun). I've been attending F45 for the past 6 months at least 5 times a week and my body has changed (My abs are Back) haven't seen them since high school. I honestly have so much energy now and I'm always on the move without complaining throughout the day "I'm tired." The gym is always clean the atmosphere is friendly. The trainers are always willing to help, they are motivators, and above all polite and friendly. F45 music is AMAZING! They offer membership plans that work with most anyone's budget, including college students at E-town. There is the option to work closely with a personal trainer as well, for an extra charge, depending on who you decide to go with. There is a large cardio area in the front, weights in the back, full locker rooms, and a private women's only work out/weight area. There's also a smoothie bar (which I've yet to try), and complimentary coffee! I would recommend this gym to anyone, especially someone with an interest in taking classes.
