My previous gym allowed a monthly charge to credit card as does my current gym. In addition I have the option of paying a year in advance via credit card . Because I'm moving to the area I've explored several different fitness options and yours is the only one that mandates an auto debit from a bank account. If that's your operating model, fine. They have problems with people showing up for work. They have the worst hours ever for a Planet Fitness I had to drive all the way to the Harrisburg East one which is a pain in the ass when you're working during the week if it wasn't so affordable, the staff wasn't so nice when they're there and it's affordable I would absolutely not recommend this place. I have been asking them daily almost for the last number of years to make the hours better. No one needs to work out at 11 o'clock at night but people who work at 5 AM they want to get there early. they need a gym this place unreliable you would think it could open up at 4:30 during the weekdays in the morning. It doesn't need to stay open till 11 if they insist on Cutting hours this is the worst one Planet Fitness I've ever been accustomed to and they never listen to anything you say they shake their head and they ignore you and they take your money

I have hit huge PRs and made big strides as an athlete since joining. Walking into a new environment and…read morestarting a new training program can definitely feel intimidating, but from day one, the coaches and everyone else training here have made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. After just my first week of training, I already noticed a big difference in how I felt. I was less anxious, more comfortable, and starting to feel like I truly belonged. The coaches and staff have been absolutely amazing. They are patient, encouraging, and always willing to take the time to help explain things and make sure I understand the movements. I really appreciate how supportive they are and how willing they are to meet me where I am in my training. I'm so grateful I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and join this gym. I'm excited to continue learning, getting stronger, and being part of such a supportive community. If you're nervous about starting somewhere new, I can honestly say that taking that first step is worth it!

They have a 3 month contract so they aren't subject to the PA Health Club Act…read more When you get to read the contract it is totally one-sided and you have no recourse if they don't provide services because what they are to provide is not really in there. They hold you to a 24 notice policy, but their employees can schedule, cancel or reschedule as they please. First appointment for nutrition was asked to be rescheduled due to snow storm on hubs surgery date, it was entered as a missed appointment. The nutritionist never had any intention of rescheduling. When I tried to ask about things the trainer referred to nutritionist and nutritionist referred back to trainer. Owner only addresses issue of contract which says they can do that. They refuse to make it right or let you out of the contract. Their Better Business rating is a D+ mostly cause they don't respond to them. Then you see the owner is a consultant for a firm that helps gym owners scam people like this. $3k 3 month contracts no wonder she doesn't have to work. DO NOT JOIN A GYM!!
