During our visit, my wife asked for a couple of coins to use the massage chair, but the front desk associate, Julia, denied her request, stating that she was not a Black Card member. I then approached the counter and requested the coins myself. Julia looked at me in an odd manner and handed me one coin. When I asked, "Just one?", she gave me a second. I explained that I usually receive three coins, so she reluctantly handed me a third. I informed her that my wife would be using the chair instead of me, but she responded rudely, saying, "She is not a Black Card member, she can't use it." I found her tone and attitude unprofessional and disappointing. I also noticed other members requesting and receiving coins without any issue. I've always appreciated Planet Fitness for being a judgment-free and relaxing environment, but today's experience was frustrating and disheartening. I asked about pricing and exceptions The man in the front explained everything however what was not posted or even stated was their agreement rules. I was told that upon signing up I would receive a call to set up a day and time with the trainer; 299 for 4 weeks one day a week. When I signed up it was the beginning of the month ( February 2nd) strike 1 did not receive a call to schedule until a week later, strike two could not match schedules so I asked them to cancel my membership and because we could not find something that matches our schedules and I never was given services to refund me. They said in their agreement that they do not do refunds. Where is the agreement posted in their gym, and it was never sent to me. I literally had to search their website to find information. I disputed the transaction within my bank and lost...ok fine but now they say I owe 65 after multiple emails telling them I want nothing to do with company is crazy. This company is not honest, not transparent, and my experience has been the worst!

There wasn't anyone at the front desk but I overheard an explanation being provided of to someone so I listened in. The space is an open room with cubbies for your belongings and then a front desk area with some retail and a few hi top tables. The class started at 12:10 and is shown on the television. The workout itself is a circuit that gets you to all of the stations including some strength work, cardio and ends with abs. I loved the strength and ab work and the music. Other than that I didn't care for the combination of the television guide, the 4 different types of boxing bags (I prefer the aqua bag) or the bright lights during the workout. The set-up reminded me of orange theory which wasn't for me the few times I tried it. I think 7-8 stations going at once was also too distracting for me. The instructor was really nice and did his best to check in on everyone but it wasn't enough for me, I couldn't keep up with all the competing voices and movements. If you're seeking a fast paced full body workout you should check out this location.

Many variations of "pride gets in the way of progress" and "it never gets easy" seemed to be a common response. I love that! Top Tier easily accommodates a class of 20 athletes, all properly distanced six feet apart, with plenty of equipment for everyone. The Coach leads Athletes through a targeted warm up (specific to the goals of training that day), strength workout (e.g. deadlift/squat/clean/snatch/etc.), and then an intense CrossFit style workout of the day. After all Athletes finish, the Coach leads them in cleaning/sanitizing all equipment and putting it away, followed by a targeted cool down. Since COVID-19 hit, many of my friends, colleagues, and peers were worried about reentering a gym for fear of catching the virus or lack of cleanliness, but the Top Tier staff is working hard to ensure the safety of all Athletes who want to improve themselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if he takes guns with him to the boxing gym. He also supports a man convicted of rape. This man IS NOT SAFE and should in no way be associated with teaching self-defense classes. I came across this weirdo after he replied on an Instagram post to my comment, I told him I wouldn't engage in conversations with ignorant people, and he immediately showed predatory signs of forcing himself into situations where he was explicitly told he was not welcome. "No means no" doesn't seem to be a concept Stef'an understands.

I have a student membership and pay month-to-month for $25 without a contract. They have various other membership packages and definitely cater to family fitness. Not only do you have the cardio room and 2 weight rooms (both free weights and machines), but they have a day care center, a giant gymnasium for basketball and some of the larger group fitness classes like Zumba, and then other smaller rooms for yoga, etc. All fitness classes are included in your membership. You're also able to pay to workout or go to a class per day as opposed to a monthly membership if you go less frequently. They offer personal training and have a fun, warm, and friendly staff to help you get settled. If you're looking for a gym to feel comfortable, have options, and not pay ridiculous monthly fees, this is a place worth checking out! And the funny part is that most people don't know that this building is a gym! It's the old armory building on Longwell at the entrance of the park off Main Street and across from Paradiso.
