Eric is hands down, the best trainer I've ever worked with! I was a little intimidated at first because this was totally new for me...but everyone in Eric's class, including Eric made me feel welcomed. I was very impressed that Eric knew everyone's fitness level and he pushed everyone accordingly. He also calls everyone by their name, which makes the experience feel more personal. He's very attentive and motivates everyone. The people in his class also motivate each other and we all helped each other get through the work outs. Every day the work outs were different and challenged me in a different way. Towards the end of my trial I was doing things I didn't think I could. After recovering from my lungs collapsing 3 years ago, my stamina and endurance wasn't the same and I was a little discouraged. with Eric's help, I'm now able to make it through a work out and I'm on my way back to the fit life I've once lived :) I've completed my 45 trial and I've never felt stronger! Eric is a skilled, no nonsense trainer who brings fun and energy to every class. He takes each individual and encourages them to be the best they can be, for themselves, without comparing them to anyone else. He works with you and makes accommodations in workouts to individualize them to your abilities and desired fitness goals. Whether you have had a recent injury, are just returning after surgery or simply haven't worked in a while (or ever!), Eric can tailor the exercises to you by adjusting the repetitions, changing the weight or suggesting an alternative exercise. He will make it work for you because he is committed to your success. He is very conscientious about watching your form and body mechanics to help you avoid injury. Class size is small and varied in age and fitness level, but everyone is friendly and welcoming. I have trained with Eric for years and since doing so, I have participated in races (5k -10 miler) and a Spartan Sprint...all since turning 50. I have been working out at EA Fit Club and with Eric for 2 years. He, and his classes, have changed my life. As someone suffering from chronic Lyme disease for the past 15 years, my energy, strength, determination and hope were zapped. There were days that I couldn't even get out of bed. EA Fit Club is a great place. The trainer Eric is the best motivator I have ever worked with. I have tried regular gyms, cross fit, home videos but nothing comes close to what Eric brings. You can be in a class of 10 people and it still feels like a one on one training session. He pushes you past you mental boundaries. The classes are fun and the other participants cheer you on during the workout. The classes are always fresh and new. Its never the same class twice, which is important. the classes are hard but its so much fun and you will see results in your body and your fitness level. I noticed a change while playing rec flag football. I'm in my 40's and I can now hang with the 20 something's in the league. Players on my team also notice too. I started working out at E.A. Fit Club 2 weeks ago after talking with a neighbor who is big into boot camp style training. From the first day I stepped foot in the room, the team made me feel welcome and Eric pushed me to my limits every workout! My favorite part of the class has been doing Tabata style training, performing 4 minute circuits that engage your entire body with moves that also build functional strength and improve range of motion. Furthermore, it is rewarding to work out with a group of highly motivated people who push one another to reach their goals and then some! EA Fitclub is like no other. Eric makes you stronger, tougher and better. He cares about your health and wellbeing and is one of the most encouraging people. He will learn your strengths and weaknesses and will challenge you to be better and do better.
